Ok so... Jaytim and victim blaming and degradation kink really is about Tim not wanting to be like Jason, The Failed Robin... And ultimately wanting to make it clear that He Is Not Like Jason, once they start to have sex, and wanting to put Jason in his place, but that has more to do with Jason being a failure and having died rather than degradation connected with sex acts... so, not so much calling him a slut and a whore, and the like, but telling Jason about how everyone was happier when he was dead, making Jason admit that Tim is a better Robin than he was, saying that, if Jason wasn't s stupid and needy, he would have let himself suffocate inside that coffin when he woke up.

Also, of course, yeah, he does tell Jason that the only reason Jason came back is to be a plaything for Tim 😊

Aaaand also bringing up Bruce and telling Jason about how Tim learned from their mentor how to treat Jason like trash :3

Also with regards to put Jason in his place - that place is in a coffin, so Tim puts Jason in a coffin before and/or after they fuck. Of course, always saying that that's the place where he belongs, because it's his own fault he died in the first place!

heard someone say archive of our own should install a "dislike" button and I thought I should say this: no, there's absolutely no need for archive of our own to install a "dislike" button.

why? because archive of our own isn't tiktok or youtube or twitter/x where users can monetize their content. archive of our own is a nonprofit site run by fans for fans, which means every content — every fanfic — you see on archive of our own was made out of pure love and passion from the artists/authors.

ao3 authors write because writing about these characters is their happiness and passion. they write for themselves, but they were generous enough to share with you their creations.

they're not "content creators" the way tiktokers or youtubers or instagram models are. they don't "make content" for views and engagements that can be monetized.

so no, you don't get to "grade their works" unless they specifically and directly ask you to.

you don't get to "say what you dislike about their works" unless they specifically and directly ask you to.

you don't get to "dislike" works that are not made specifically to please you in the first place. you're just a guest in someone's house, a house in which they let you in because they were kind, you don't get to roam around their house and say what you dislike about their furniture. you don't get to roam around their house and say you "dislike their house".

of course, you can have your opinion about the house its host invites you in. but if it's a negative one and you find yourself not liking the house, the polite things for you to do is excuse yourself and leave without telling them you dislike their house.

and just because you personally dislike the house doesn't mean the house is "ugly" either. the house you dislike could be a favorite, most luxurious place to many others.

my point is, don't be entitled by wanting the rights to voice your disapproval of things that you get to enjoy for free. don't be entitled by wanting the rights to voice your disapproval of things that were made out of love and passion — things the artists made for themselves for fun.

it makes you look like an entitled jerk with main character syndrome. the universe does not revolve around you.

now repeat after me: don't like don't read. no one forces you to continue reading a fic you don't like. quietly leave instead of being rude to authors who write for free because writing is their source of comfort.

people are so used to contents that were made because it's a trend / contents like tiktok that were made with the main purpose of reaching high engagement and making profits that they forget sometimes things can be made out of love and be made just for fun. sometimes things are supposed to just be for people to enjoy, and if some people don't enjoy them, then they can simply leave without being unnecessary unkind.

Tim would totally adopt a small army of orphans, because he's just got that vibe about him. Except he's more akin to Fagin from Oliver, he cares for all of them but to the outside world they are feral, chaotic and likely rabid. Tim just has heart eyes for them, while everyone else is holding a crucifix to them in the hope it'll keep them at bay.

Bernard is the den mother. With a baseball bat and scary duckling army privileges.

The Timber content is already adorable the first page in and of course their dates continue to be interrupted by Gotham shenanigans like Teen Bats 😁 Also Tim being very gay and enjoying watching Bernard fight off said Teen Bats! That's so silly of them!

I've always loved the banter between Damian and Tim (now that there's not any real bad feelings between them) and Damian is already hilarious with his jabs at Tim! Also Bernard calling Tim, Timboo is so dorky sunshine boy of him and also being like "I'll only go out with you if you help your brother 😋" Bernard, beloved, we all missed you so much!

I feel this comic was really good for Tim because it showed he's not like anti social or anything and it's nice he still keeps in touch with his previous romantic interests as friends like Ariana! Also, she knows about him and Bernard too and they'll probably have a future date at her Uncle's restaurant!! And Damian once again having the best jabs at Tim while praising all of Tim's romantic partners for being out of his league lol.

There's a whole fun scene after that where Jason and Steph show up and the whole comic is so fun in my opinion and I loved it a lot! However, to keep this post from getting too long with screenshots, I'll share this final pic of Tim and Bernard kissing because yay another timber kiss!!! And it's so cute they were also cooking together and it's great to see Bernard again and - I'm just so very happy with the whole comic! If you're a fan of Tim and Timber I'd definitely check it out!

Ok, 2025 has just started and I decided to go back to my beloved TIMBERN and the au's I love so much. It took me like a week to finish this and I'm happy to see that I haven't gotten as bad at drawing as I thought despite not being able to practice as often as before.

Ok, now the context. It's not very long, since I drew this scene on impulse. It's another Bernard/Dionysus AU with the added bonus that Tim in this case is the reincarnation of Ariadne and the only thing that prevented an angry god from turning everyone in Gotham into animals. After his rude awakening Dionysus was completely furious but all that was forgotten immediately he saw Ariadne, as beautiful and stunning as when he met her in Naxos crying over her new body. Of course, Tim doesn't remember any of this and just happens to have seen his friend Bernard get stabbed to death by a cult of madmen and collapses in grief and guilt because he was late again. Only for the body to rise up, still bleeding and chest open screaming in Greek with a deranged grin. I don't have much more to it than that, really. The scene in the picture is Dionysus/Bernard just waking up and getting déjà vu about his first meeting with Ariadne on the Island of Naxos where she was abandoned by Theseus. I was reading up on them and I imagined Dionysus meeting a very reluctant and angry Ariadne, who is crying at being abandoned and the God decides he wants to see her smiling face and will do anything to make that happen. Now in Gothan the myth is coming to life again. Dionisio wants to court his wife (who is now a husband, and that doesn't bother him at all) and Tim trying by all means to keep him entertained while the others look for a solution and he's being influenced little by little to remember what was in the past.

(what Bernard/ Dyonisus is shouting is "Ariadne!!", but I don't know any ancient Greek so this comes from Wikipedia)
