i. Neediness   Being affirmed and nurtured by others is a central requirement for you to feel safe. v. Orderliness   You love it when everything is neat and tidy: when there is a proper way of doing things, and you can tick things off the to-do list and know where everything is. So others, at times, are to you unbearably sloppy and messy. And you run into things that can’t be ordered (a child, a partner, a colleague at work) which drives you slightly nuts. But your desire for order is a good one when it is focussed where it is needed and when you’re okay with a bit of mess.

been thinking a lot about victoria lately and her obsession with creating art that can be considered fine art or museum art. like obv i write victoria much different than canon (bc canon did her so dirty so many times) but i feel as if the support from her parents in regards to them allowing her to transition wasn't really enough, the medical transition helped with her mental health and dysphoria but she's in a new part of her life where the social part of transitioning is over. she transitioned so young and now she's just victoria, which is incredibly freeing and feels good to be seen as a beautiful young woman by friends and adults but her transition is a part of who she is, and she wants to feel welcome in the community but it's just very difficult in a small town like arcadia bay. i'm sure she feels much more comfortable in seattle especially in the summer around pride season, she can let loose and show everybody who she is but her looks and personality is so crafted in arcadia bay. and growing up surrounded by gallery art made by primarily cishet dudes with the occasional cishet woman only furthers the idea that victoria has to create art that is considered fine. that tackles ideas that cishet audiences can relate to. but if she allowed herself to show off every part of herself with pride i feel as if those messages would translate very well into her type of photography.

there’s  a  tonal  shift  in  rachel’s  voice  that  makes  a  tiny  smile  form  on  dana’s  limps.  here  rachel  goes,  slowing  them  to  a  stop  near  the  wall  of  the  hallway  and  grabbing  her  shoulders.  dana  rolls  her  head  to  the  side,  giving  her  friend  a  small  smirk  as  her  hands  nervously  wring.  it  grows  in  size  when  rachel  calls  logan  a  bottom  feeder.  and  what  sucks  is,  she’s  not  wrong,  but  the  big  banner  ahead  of  them,  above  them,  advertising  homecoming  makes  dana’s  face  fall  a  bit.

dana  lets  herself  fall  into  the  short  -  lived  hug,  sighing  out  hard  before  pulling  herself  back  and  moving  alongside  rachel  once  more.  her  face  changes  into  a  grimace  once  she’s  called  mrs.  robertson.  ❛  eugh,  maybe  this  won’t  work  out.  dana  elizabeth  robertson.  totally  does  not  work.  and  he  is  definitely  not  the  type  to  take  my  last  name.  ❜  she  bumps  her  shoulder  into  rachel’s,  moving  to  push  open  the  door  leading  to  blackwell’s  front  quad  for  the  other  girl  to  pass  through.  ❛  maybe  i’ll  get  let  him  take  me  to  homecoming.  that’s  all.  and  i’ll  end  up  having  to  settle  for  junior  prom,  but  c’est  la  vie.  speaking  of  homecoming  ...  has  anybody  brought  you  up  to  speed  on  the  cheer  routine?  ❜
