It is interesting how posts about misogyny would receive thousands of notes (rightfully so), but when a Palestinian man requests for help, he is often dismissed, ignored, and humiliated. He is obligated to step down and have a female family member be the face of fundraiser. It would be his wife, his daughter, his sister, his mother.

This is exactly what Ayah is going through. Before GFM has unjustly terminated her fundraiser, her husband, Mohammed Al-Habil, would promote their fundraiser across different social media platforms. You would be see his face in the photos, along with their 3 young children, Ahmed (8), Osama (6), and Mira (4). Then, for their new campaign, Ayah is in the spotlight.

This should not be the case. (It should never be the case!) Gender should not determine who is worthy of support. Especially in the middle of an accelerated genocide. Everyone is experiencing the extreme violence, the manufactured famine, the brutal dehumanization from the Zionist entity.
