Literally risked getting it from his mom and being found out. Like imagine what would Luella think about her son giving his pic with Gene to a girl who apparently loves his brother from the afterlife. And he could simply send her a pic of just Gene but he really went thru some effort 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

The idea of this floors me. I have written over 100k words on one fanfiction alone. The reality of how much work that is never fully realized in my mind until right now. I can keep going and do it again.

When reading fanfic keep in mind that for professional literature: 

Short story: under 7,500

Novelette: between 7,500 and 17,500

Novella: between 17,500 and 40,000

Novel: over 40,000

Fics over 40k are literally a novel written and shared for free.  If you have written a 40k+ fic, you have literally written a novel.

One of my two jobs is now remote, and it is the best thing that has ever happened. If I wasn’t working from home after my mother had her kidney removed earlier this year, and afterwards when she went into diabetic shock once leaving the hospital - she would be dead. Being able to check on her during her recovery period literally saved her life.
