Because I got a real life doll

I bathed her

Helped her get dressed

I gave her milk 

Heard her crying and screaming

I’m the eldest daughter now

At 12 years old, my second sister was born

Take them to school

Pick them up from school

Did they brush their teeth? 

Make their school lunch

Buy school supplies 

Take them to birthday parties

Talk to the other moms 

Moms, never dads

Expensive those books, huh? What about their homework of last night? 

I was a mother

To children that weren’t mine

Take them to ballet class

Help them study

My schedule revolves around whether my sisters will need me or not

Anger, pettiness, jealousy

I don’t have afternoon classes

I don’t have appointments in the afternoon 

Because they have their classes

water signs are known to be the most sensitive and to experience very intense emotional pain when they’re hurt by someone they love; fire signs are famous for their dramatic and loud emotional reactions; earth signs are the ones that have the hardest time getting over stuff, because they have the most stable/long term feelings and it’s difficult for them to express them. 

it seems as if air signs are the ones that suffer the least when a loved one does something hurtful. i believe that’s not true though. air signs have the hardest time dealing with heartbreak and emotional pain. it is because they don’t understand feelings, including their own. we can see water signs being wrecked by heartbreak but they understand people hurt each other and can bare it and eventually grow stronger from it (and i’m not just talking about scorpio here). fire signs suffer loudly but this helps them get it out of their system easier. earth signs repress their feelings but in order to repress them, you need to understand them and the danger that comes from them. air signs, however…they just don’t understand feelings, therefore are not equipped in any way to handle them. this is why air signs are known to “ghost” people when they show any signs of emotional attachment - air signs simply don’t get people’s emotions and feel compelled to leave any situation where reasonable laws don’t work anymore. they need to live by some logical system of rules one can LEARN and APPLY and we all know this is not how emotions work. water signs hurt a lot from emotional pain, but in the end, they understand this is how life works and they accept feelings don’t follow rules and you can’t defend yourself from the pain they may cause you sometimes, you just gotta live through it. air signs are puzzled by feelings and how they exist irrationally and out of any reasonable logic. on top of all, they have no way to express their emotional pain, because just like earth signs, they can’t let go easily of their ethics and allow themselves an open emotional release. it seems awkward to them to just have a fire emotional fit or a water self-pitying crying session. also they always try to stay fair and to see all viewpoints objectively, which doesn’t exactly motivate them to allow themselves to feel the pain they’re feeling freely. because pain is never objective or fair.

 it’s just air signs’ weak spot - emotions. in the end, libra, gemini, and aquarius people are just like kids - they can’t accept that it is possible for people to do terrible things to each other when they love each other. it doesn’t seem fair, it doesn’t seem right, it makes no sense, so they can’t accept it and feel their own feelings. and it fucks them up in the end.
