Mermaid Melody Secret Santa 2024 Sign-Ups Open!

Hi! It's that time of year again, time for another Mermaid Melody secret santa!

In case you don't know me, I'm Ubiquitor, admin of the Mermaid Melody Haven Discord Server, and I'll be running this as a cross platform event between here and there. I don't use Tumblr a massive amount personally, so I might be a bit inexperienced on this side, but we'll get there in the end!

Mermaid Melody survey

Hi! I'm currently writing my undergraduate thesis about mermaids in contemporary audiovisual media, and a part of my analysis is focused on Mermaid Melody: Pichi Pichi Pitch (and its relationship with feminism and gender). So I decided to create this survey about the anime adaptation. If you have watched it, I would really, really appreciate if you could participate answering the questions. Sara the princess of the Indian Ocean, good girl gone bad and then good again. Wanted something that had a lot of drama to call back to her villainous persona but also with some sweetness to call back to her true self. Her idol form had a big bow that I thought was so cute so I added it to the front. Along the front of the dress I also wanted to call back to the ruffles going town the front of her dress.
