FREE ICE CREAM, AFTER HEAT DISASTER
JULY 14, 2019. The heatwave of the past two weeks made its first victim. Local ice cream shop Scoops & Loops suffered a power outage, which caused a large portion of its products to melt.
The first victim of 2019’s unstable summer appears to be one of San Francisco’s most beloved ice cream shops. A power outage, believed to have been caused by the corrosion of electrical wires, led to tens of pounds of ice cream starting to melt.
Owner Joe Albright explained that while some of the ice cream completely melted, a lot of it is still eatable and is going to be offered for free, in an attempt to salvage it.
“We don’t know when our freezers are going to be fixed. In the meantime, we are welcoming everyone to our store, for free ice cream,” explains Albright.
For the next few days, people can go to Scoops & Loops to get free ice cream.
ROBBERY GONE WRONG?
by AMANDA PEBBLER
You would have to be blind to not be able to see the fact that crime is on the rise in San Francisco. Let’s put aside the sudden influx of people and the dramatic rise in population numbers. What our concern should really be is what all of these people are actually doing within the city. The sudden fires being set all around the city seem to have calmed down, but we can’t say the same thing about the missing people, the muggings, and the robberies. Take one of the more bizarre ones, for example.
A few days ago, in eastside, an apartment robbery seems to have gone horribly wrong. We say ‘horribly’ because no one really knows what happened, including owner Adam Stevenson. ‘The Bay Mirror’ talked to him and all he could say was that, when he came to check on the flat, everything was a mess and there were small blotches of dried blood. As for the ones living there, a boy and a girl, both in their late teens, their fates are still unknown.
MISSING FACES
DAVID CALLAHAN. Local counselor David Callahan has gone missing for the past couple of weeks. The disappearance was reported by the Mayor, who declared authorities are doing everything in their power to find Callahan. He was last seen walking out of P3, somewhere at dusk.
ANDREA SWAN. A 22-year-old disappeared without a trace, on her way back from her. Based on the first information, she is a worker at the strip club Hell’s Angels, already the center of lots of controversies.
Description: Long, brown hair. Blue eyes. Roughly 5’5’’ tall. Was last seen wearing a blue trench.

CONCERN OVER 96 DEGREE HEATWAVE
JUNE 30, 2019. A major heatwave is about to hit San Francisco, in the following next days. Experts announce that temperatures will skyrocket to as much as 96 degrees, in the shade.
Heated debut for July of 2019. Weather experts are warning local authorities to prepare for the worst, as an upcoming wave of Saharian air is bound to melt the city at a scorching 96 degrees.
Authorities are warning citizens to avoid the outdoors during hours of peak exposure. More specifically in the interval of 12 PM to 4 PM. “It’s going to affect all of us,” says Dr. Alfred Somnstein, Head of the Weather Observation Center. “People will feel more fatigued, angrier.”

SCHOOL FIRE RAISES QUESTIONS
by FREDDIE WEBB
It seems like there is a streak of arson happening in San Francisco. For the past three months or so, there has been one bizarre fire after another. Not that this city isn’t full of strange happenings already, but do we really need to add arson into the mix? At first glance, it seems like this domino chain was doppled over by some still-to-be-named shenanigans at Central Library. It looked like an all-out war took place there and one may try to guess what common element there was. That’s right, fire. There were some scorch marks on the ground and the wood on the furniture is still undergoing some serious repairs.
But it didn’t get questionably bad until recently. There is this newly opened school, Salvatore. It opened its doors shrouded in mystery and, surprise, some weeks later, one of its classrooms is set ablaze – luckily, victim free. In another part of the city, an apartment was burned to the ground. And the worst part? None of these incidents are accidents. That much is clear.
WHERE TO HAVE FUN THIS WEEK?
P3. A quaint, classic bar and grill, for all those interested in grabbing a bite and a little umbrella cocktail. Located on Boardwalk 39, offers some mouth watering burgers. Clients might need to be a bit patient with the myriad of new employees.
FORBIDDEN CORNER. For fun of the more adult appeal, there’s good news. Strip club HELL’S ANGELS and sex shop SWEET SPOT are the hottest go-to places for a bit of carnal delight. As for the little club, rumor has it it’s so deliciously hot, it’s probably owned by the Devil himself. Hmm…
