She knew that his people considered her people unclean and inferior to the chosen people of God. She knew it was against societal norms to approach him as a woman. She also knew he was who he said he was and she could find grace, mercy, and healing for her daughter in him. Even when he was silent to her calls and even when she pursued him and plead her case. Even when his reply to her sincere pleas was less than desirable, her determination and humility never wavered in her response. She found healing for her daughter in that moment of faith.
