Sweet Disposition

I’ve been listening to the song Sweet Disposition for a while now. And I can’t help but feel nostalgic for a love that has not yet come around in my life. 

I can’t help but feel like time is running out now and everything is a mess. I just hope to find some sort of solace in this world, and to feel less alone at a time like this. Like having the possibility of a beginning and something to look forward to. Something to envelope me in days when it’s just too cold, dark or glum. 

I crave a connection to eliminate this trust and wanting that eats me up from within. Looking for something sturdy is my wish. To build something when the world is in, literally, shambles.

When Instrutor said my movements did not match my corda, I was super flattered. Honestly it made me shy. But knowing that and gathering the same feedback from my coach makes me super inspired to just continue working hard. I must be doing something right. What a time to be a CRUA! Go slow. And from there, grow. . . . Nothing fancy, just exploring the movements. Most days, this constitutes my practice. It becomes a time to get creative and comfortable. At this point, I think that's the lesson I need to learn: to be relaxed on my own. And from there, hope that it translates to my game and extends to life. #practice #capoeira #cera
