i would be a kittypet all the way in the warrior cats universe. if i heard a bunch of guys were in the woods killing each other for survival and they think i'm the lame one for getting mediocre banquets i would be like you guys are stupidd and then when the thunderclan medicine cat comes by my fenced lot to pick yarrow i would be like what are doing and shes like medicine so my clanmates don't die and i'm like wow you guys really have it that rough. and she keeps encountering me and one day i'm like why don't you come inside there's plenty of kibble and she averts her eyes shyly and is like ...no that would be against starclan and i'd go To have a little kibble? and she's like You know what i mean. and i do. 5 moons later she is getting adopted by my people and visions of her ancestors still haunt her and she is from time to time like Did I do the right thing...? how could i be so selfish...? and i'm like my toy mouse squeaks

APPLESTRIKE BLAST

1ST ERA: april-october 2018

THE ORIGINAL! the very first version of applestrike from april 16th 2018!

at this point, applepaw was described in june as "embergaze's daughter! she's got some issues." there's a gap for the rest of the summer until the galaxy image from september, where i've come up with her warrior suffix of -strike, after her father, and the plot surrounding war and an Evil Violent Leader and applestrike leaving the clans to form shoreclan. i had forgotten how quickly i came up with that story and (for the most part) just stuck with it! the last image (featuring amberstrike's old design) is from october.

applestrike and lightningheart are wonderful i heart them. they fall into a very bad cycle of thinking they have to die for each other or entirely overworking themselves emotionally to "be there" for the other and neglecting themselves in the process. there is war happening and they both very rapidly lose all their supports other than each other so they lean HEAVILY on each other to an inseparable extent. when applestrike gets sent away to windclan lightningheart completely falls apart until he gets just straight up exiled and roams the edges of clan territories in the hopes of spotting applestrike anywhere. neither of them know if the other is alive, let alone okay

anyways i have talked abt applestrike and sagespeckle bouncing self-actualization off each other. applestrike's mental state improves somewhat + she realizes she and lightningheart have some shit to work out. meanwhile lightningheart is still in the trenches

i havent actually put any thought into what their relationship improvement looks like, i just have the end goal of it happening. their story is not about a relationship ending. theyre gonna be okay. i love both of them too much to do that lol
