❝ After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: 'Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.' ❞ ----Revelations, 7:9-10 +

my computer may or may not have broken yesterday and i have no idea when i'll be getting a new one so....hiatus is definitely an indefinite thing now lmfao i'm allowed to use my mom's for homework but nothing else so i really don't know when i'll be able to get back to rp'ing here since all my PSDs, icons, and everything i need was on my laptop so for now this blog will probably consist of me logging on.....reblogging inspiration things for carrillo until i get a computer which will hopefully be soon if i can save up my money. i can't believe the sorry state this blog has become in the past two months lmao rip me but yeah!!! until i get a new laptop, not much will be going on here. just pretty pictures of churches and religious statues. nice.

honeyhatched:
it’s a game of childish back and forth they’re playing, and an odd one at that. she might think it more awkward, if she were actually aware of the fact that he caught onto her a while ago. for another few moments she remains oblivious to his looks, imitating details from his posture to his grasp on the cigarette, before eye contact is ultimately made. paloma is the first to avert her gaze to the step below her feet out of sheer embarrassment, and even in the cold of winter she can feel her cheeks heating up. then overcome with the need to save her image she looks toward him again, offering something of a hesitant smile. she opts for the easiest excuse.
”——are you having mass today, father?”
{✞} There are a few moments of silence where the awkwardness of the situation is laid on thick, the girl standing in front of him unaware that he's aware that she's mimicking his actions. It'd be rather funny to someone much less serious than himself, a priest and a young lay woman on the steps of a church smoking. There's a sense of ridiculousness to it and he's grateful when she finally speaks.
❝ 11:15, ❞ he answers. He looks at her face, failing to recognize her. ❝ ----In about an hour, ❞ he observes to no one in particular.

carrillo may not come off as very eloquent when speaking, but his thoughts are much more straight forward and well "spoken", for lack of a better word. carrillo has never been a good speaker since he puts a large amount of thought into everything he does so it may seem as if he's over thinking his sentences, so conversation doesn't flow as easily with him. he's much better at expressing his ideas through writing, even though he doesn't consider himself to be much of a writer.

{✞} He looks at the stranger and blinks, subconsciously tugging at his clerical collar. ❝ ----Mmm? ❞ he replies, very little thought going into the buzz of a noise. Truthfully, he most likely has seen a priest outside of church before; most of them, however, tend to wear the trademark black much less often than Carrillo chooses to.
apostative
"I d-don’t think I’ve ever m-m-met a priest outside of a church."
