A reminder that eating and not listening to your eating disorder shows strength not weakness. Everyone else sees you as strong for eating not weak.

Reasons to eat today:
- so your body has the strength to stay warm and you don’t freeze
- so your hair doesn’t fall out
- so your belly doesn’t hurt because it cries for food
- because not eating is a kind of self harm and you don’t deserve harm
- so your brain has the energy to focus on good things, not hunger
- because food tastes good and feels good and it’s a nice feeling to eat something you like
- so you stay alive

There is no “sick enough”, there’s just having enough of being sick.
It’s as simple and as complicated as that.

Scientists have discovered that running liquid chocolate through an electric field can reduce its fat content by up to 20%. Not only is it healthier, but the reduced fat makes the cocoa solids stand out more, so it’s tastier, too. Source

People don’t look at you and see your body. They don’t measure the space between your thighs or the width around your stomach. That doesn’t happen. People see your pretty smile and your soft hair and your cheeks red from the cold and your eyes. They hear your laugh and your sentences and your jokes and your ideas. There is so much more than this tiny human vessel you were given. Your legs can walk and your brain can think and your hands can feel. You could walk anywhere. You could cut all your hair off and wear dark lipstick. You could kiss strangers. The possibilities are endless and you were given this life, this opportunity, to explore and to create and to love and be loved back. You are not your body. You are the songs you sing and the friends you make and the words you write and the places you go. I believe in you. I really do. You are going to do something so great in this world. You can share ideas and teach so many people. Please take care of yourself. Give your body fuel so it can think and smile and be healthy. Please.
Please eat (via ghstpjs)

You guys are fucking beautiful. I don’t care how much you weigh, what colour your skin is, if your short, average, tall, or whatever else about yourself that you’re insecure about. You are beautiful and amazing and worth so much. Fuck everyone who has the audacity to try and tell you different.

i’ve literally been getting people messaging me daily about this BS since i made that post about fasting being unhealthy.
so here.
here are the actual irrefutable scientifically proven facts on the matter.
if you want natural ways to lose weight that are HEALTHY, or natural ways to cleanse that are HEALTHY, feel free to message me and i will help you without letting you starve
please for lucifer’s sake stop stop stop condoning starvation. it’s dangerous and it’s deadly and i am so sick of impressionable young people being taught that this is acceptable in any way. starvation is not the answer to anything

Compassion isn’t some kind of self-improvement project or ideal that we’re trying to live up to. Having compassion starts and ends with having compassion for all those unwanted parts of ourselves, all those imperfections that we don’t even want to look at.

Did you ever realize how much your body loves you? It’s always trying to keep you alive. It’s making sure you breathe while you sleep, stopping cuts from bleeding, fixing broken bones, finding ways to beat the illnesses that might get you. Your body literally loves you so much. It’s time you start loving it back.

The reality is that fat people are often supported in hating their bodies, in starving themselves, in engaging in unsafe exercise, and in seeking out weight loss by any means necessary. A thin person who does these things is considered mentally ill. A fat person who does these things is redeemed by them. This is why our culture has no concept of a fat person who also has an eating disorder. If you’re fat, it’s not an eating disorder — it’s a lifestyle change.
