next update almost done! I just need some sleep so I can post it with *hopefully* fewer rushed mistakes. my brain hasn't been cooperating lately and I keep falling asleep. a lot. but I'm super happy that I'm no longer barfing! Also, Ken has learned how to kick my organs! Very proud. :D

Part 248 of  “A Tale of Two Rulers” (May 1, 2024)

A month late, but done! Thank you all so much for your patience. ^_^'

I got unexpectedly delayed by a wonderful surprise! After all the surgeries and ivf, my husband and i got extremely lucky. Our embryo lived and will be born around late fall/early winter! I'm just as surprised as I am thrilled!

 i'm also apparently one of those pregnant people who gets very, very, VERY sick in the first trimester. This was the hardest update i've done in ages just because it's very hard to think clearly and move one's hands precisely when you're constantly fighting off vomiting and unexpectedly falling asleep all the time. I was nervous to say anything at first because i wasn't sure if the baby would live, but it's been several weeks and so far he seems very strong so I think it's ok to give word of his existence (I'm so proud of my lil' one! Fight! Fight! Fight, Lil' Dude! <3).

As you can see I've updated the tumblr archive to be more streamlined as follows:

Main story

 It's now the first thing on the page for an easy start for any new viewers. I've added "Kings of Hyrule" and the "Malon" arc into this section. It's already properly formatted as a comic page and those are more significant than simple doodles.

Oldest posts

 These are just as canon as the main story but it's chaotic and has no particular order other than it all being early in the LU story. It's more like  supplementary content than anything else.

for those that wonder how the medical stuff is going, I'll put that below the cut so anyone who doesn't want to see it can skip it easier:

Three of the 12 eggs made it to blastocysts and are now frozen! One is a boy, one is a girl, and one is a ninja who's test results came back 'unknown'. Unknown is a excellent gender. Very proud of all my little frozen snow babies. I really hope they live. Hopefully I will only have to do one more surgery before I can see if my body is fit to give these kids life. If you happen to pray, please send prayers to make these kids powerful. I really really really want them to live. I'm kinda worried sick.

Thank you Figment Forms

I just received my "The Art Behind A Tale of Two Rulers" book from @figmentforms Etsy shop and it is truly one of the most magical things I've graced my eyes on. There are very few things in this world that fully enrapture me like the story and art of Lor produces. And having followed them and their comic for a little over half a decade at this point I'm so blessed and privileged to have found something so meaningful to me and to have experienced to impeccable story that Lor has crafted and illustrated here! I feel so strongly about this and I have so many emotions seeing just a glimpse into the behind the scenes of something I hold so close to my heart.

I will also support and believe in Lor as a creator no matter what ❤️ If you see this Lor know that you will always have my unconditional love and support in and outside of this sphere because I truly believe in you as a person ❤️❤️❤️

-I finished the new AToTR art book! I will have it for sale at my booth at GenCon and a little bit later I'll put it up for sale in my Etsy shop (www.etsy.com/shop/FigmentForms). I'll post about it here when it's up.

-My booth at GenCon will be listed as Lor Illustration, located in space 2960 (In the Entrepreneurs' Avenue Section). I hope I can meet some of you and say hello! I'll have lots of things there. Other than the new art book, I'll have all my AToTR comics, as well as my Curvy Cryptids RPG book, art prints, bookmarks, pins, and stickers!
