Day 7: got up and got ready, then went out to London to see Keira tanner and lils! Met Keira first and got a good one on one catch-up in about life and everything on the way to the Rosemary Branch theatre (a room above the Rosemary Branch pub) to watch "two cowboys get stuck in a well" a play about well. You can guess. And they were gay! And tickets were only £8! Pretty fun. As with all things with a script, it could have been a bit shorter (and I wasn't super convinced by the character arcs) but the acting was pretty great. We talked about it in the pub until the cast came down then we headed off. The bartender had a t shirt that actually made me ill to look at because it was deliberately blurry. We got the train over to Camden (lily left us at this point but I'm glad I got to see her too). There was another play there called Godot's To-Do list in which a disembodied voice was leading Godot through a list of chores he had to do before he could go and see his friends. It was extremely funny with some great comedy beats, but it felt like the through line/story needed some polishing... definitely felt like it could be something special with that though. Really really really awesome, well worth the money. And me and tanner were sat on the stage on chairs and at one point Godot screamed "pig orgasms" in tanners face which was very funny. We then went to Camden market which I haven't been to much before which was nice... I wished I had more money especially to buy leather gear, jackets, etc. but it was still nice to look around and I got some cardcaptor sakura gachapon for me and Danny. Now I'm on my way home from there. Yippee what a lovely day with some of my most awesome friends.

I've had a good holiday so far.

Day One: got my hair cut and I like the new cut, went to Battersea park for a picnic with Sylvie, did some reading

Day Two: Slept in late, finished Guards! Guards!, picked up hair dye/bleach from the shops, went to the body shop with the vouchers i got recently and acquired various new perfumes, made pizza for danny and our friend guy and he came over and we had a lovely time and watched spider-man.

Day Three: Got up and had nice coffee in bed and then went out with danny to tk max to use the other half of the vouchers i got. we got some lamps for the bedroom which means we can put the bedroom lamps in the living room and everything will be very nice, as well as some storage that will help with the bathroom, and a cake tin. also had some ideas about getting a basket for bag drops. we also went to hobbycraft and it turned out i had some money on a voucher for them from a while ago so we got some cross stitch sets for free. Then we headed home and unpacked and chilled for a little while. I bleached my hair and it came out nicely then we went to the pub with guy and olwen and kruti and james which was so lovely and felt so good that we'd managed to get that many people together at short notice... feeling like we've really got a life and social life put together in guildford these days, which Im really happy about.

Day Four: Well so far this morning I woke up early and worked out, im on week 4 of couch to 5k and really feeling the improvement in strength and endurance which I hope will help with derby. Then i had what felt like a productive therapy session and since then I've been chilling and playing magic/organising nice things for later in the week. Feels good!

I saw this post on twitter this morning and I find it really interesting people think like this because of course the idea of "all of society's needs and wants can be expressed through <<the market>>" is a fascinating and compelling one to a certain kind of person but I do feel like you've really got to shut your brain off and not look at a) the hypothetical or b) the real world, which has currency and markets too closely in order for it not to immediately fall apart. Idealistic math brain unfortunately is very compelling!

Finished day 4 by getting stressed doing jobs and making to do lists, whoops. And then I went to the shops in the worst heat imaginable and felt pretty awful but on the upside I did eat a punnet of strawberries. But I also got to call my friends and hang out with my girlfriend so it's okay :)

Day 5: I slept in a bit again and cooked in the morning, then went to see my friend Charlie to play board games with him. We caught up because it's been a while and played slay the spire the board game, which was really fun. I came home and hung out with Danny, then went to derby. It was so warm I loved the first half of practice but I flagged pretty badly in the second half

Day 6: I did some small jobs, played magic, and slept in in the morning, then went out to get a massage. Which was really nice, but the masseuse was chatty in the way of a hairdresser, which was unexpected. Hung out at a coffee shop for a while which was pretty good, sitting in the sun with a boba tea. Came home and looked at stuff that makes me mad on the computer (whoops!) and then worked out to make myself feel better. Had a bath to chill out more, then watched some breaking bad with my girlfriend, then played peak with Rachel which was very nice :).
