Target Language 90 Day Challenge: Week One
Week One: 3 Oct - 9 Oct
Welcome to the first 7 days of our 90 days challenge! It’s time to begin, and to make it more manageable, the first couple weeks are going to be simple. Around week 3 it will start to get really fun. Let’s get started!
Challenges:
Read aloud an article
Find something that interests you, like an excerpt from a book you want to read. Try recording yourself, just to listen back to in a few weeks to hear your progress! If you are in the discord group you could also join a voice chat to get feedback.
Introduce yourself in your TL
If you already know how to describe the basics about yourself, get more descriptive: talk about your hobbies, what you are studying, your favorite weather, etc.
Remember, this starts Saturday October 3! If you post about the challenge be sure to use the hashtag. Have fun!

If you’re using the German Duolingo tree, the Duolingo notes and tips section is important in order to understand the rules and language. I compiled all the notes and tips from the course into a Google doc to make it easier to work with offline or whenever you want to look up a certain skill. There is an outline there to make it easy to find the information.
The link to the doc can be found here

langblr playlists
Hello :)
Listening to music in my target language(s) always helped me a lot with pronunciation, vocabulary and use of language, so i’ve decided to share my spotify playlists that each focus on one language!
Some of them are still under construction and don’t have a lot of songs, but they will grow, I promise!
Links:
German Spanish Portuguese Romanian Russian Serbian Slovene Lithuanian Turkish French Polish Hungarian Ukrainian Norwegian Estonian Arabic Bulgarian Korean Chinese Finnish
Big playlist with non-English songs only: click here
If the playlist links do not work, this link will lead you to my page!
Note: These playlists are sorted by language, not by country! You might notice different accents!

For all of you German learners
I made this Google Doc with the help of the Duolingo community a long time ago, and it hasn’t been used in a while. It has a bunch of neat grammar charts that might be a help to some of you. {x}

Once on facebook I argued with 2 different men on 2 different subjects in 2 different groups. It had nothing to do with feminism. A few hours later, both men sent me private messages saying almost the exact same thing : one said “suck my dick” the other said “you should only open your mouth if it’s to suck dicks”. Another time I was discussing the pressure women face to shave their armpit hair and this guy replied “nobody gives a fuck about your pubes lmao”.
When women debate men, men often end up making lured comments, sexual jokes or just simply throwing sexual insults. I’ve seen it countless times. It usually happens when the woman stands her ground/doesn’t change her mind/has a strong opinion about something/is a good debater. Their goal is to shut the woman up, put her in her place as the sexual object she is, humiliate her, make her uncomfortable, scare her, reduce her to her sex, remind her that she is worthless ultimately and might as well shut up. The goal is also to disqualify her in the eyes of anybody else who might be listening to her.
But it’s also very telling how men consider sex as a weapon to humiliate and control women.
