I know I mentioned in a past post that Mars has two moons and since Martyn's celestial symbol is Mars that Cleo and Ren should be each moon but I've come up with a separate idea.

Each moon is one of Martyn's wins is a moon

Phobos is Past Life, Phobos means fear, the fear of being back in a familiar place, the fear of the Boogeyman, the fear of watchers becoming more active, the fear of Martyn killing Cleo and Impulse the same way he killed Ren, The fear of being teamed with Cleo, someone who had betrayed him in a past life, and the fear of the watchers being more active

Phobos also means panic, the panic of Martyn being surrounded by people in the final, the panic of losing all his teammates, the panic of the boogeymen, the panic that comes with Ren dying early on, and the panic of the life series as a whole, remember it's a death game at it's core. Panic is what the Watchers feed on and what's a better meal than putting the players in a world resembling the one they once tried to flee? The world that set them into this forever aching panic from the start

Deimos is Limited Life. Deimos means dread, the dread of the clock constantly clicking down in their ears, the dread of the impending count down, the dread of losing that time. The dread of killing Scott to get time, the aching dread of the watcher's grasp on Martyn near the end, and the dread of Ren not being in that season.

Deimos also means terror, the terror of the death games as a whole, the terror of every person slayed by Martyn's hand, the terror of his own mean gill before he was killed by Martyn, the terror and itch inside Martyn when he knew he needed to get time and having it stolen, and the constant terror of knowing his time will be up soon.

This has probably been asked before, but why have life series episodes been getting progressively longer? Going back through earlier seasons they averaged 30 minutes at most but now seeing 1hr+ isn't uncommon.

I can't speak for everybody but we had people asking for longer videos even of more tame / inconsequential moments, so I called that bluff, people called it back by watching the majority of the videos so I ran with it

Also longer videos and more ads being delivered is always a positive in terms of revenue. I feed you, you feed me. Fair trade ha
