Ugh I’m Twilight Yearning ™️ again…this time it’s fall flavored

Your favorite season is apon you, and your favorite day of my favorite season has finally, FINALLY begun.

Twilight arrived the night previous, startling you with a gentle knock at the door before he slunk into your shared home in Ordon. The “chain” as he liked to call them, had come to stay in his Hyrule for the week and, while they stayed in Castle town, he managed to sneak away to you while Time managed the boys in the city.

The chilly autumn air nipped at your skin as you started to stir, only to be secured to your bed by Link. Nuzzling into eachother, you relax for another moment in your warm bed before you both get up.

As the sun just barely peaks over the horizon, you head into town now ready for the day. You help with the seasonal pumpkin harvest. This season, the pumpkins were particularly ripe and plentiful, so the entire town was buzzing with an easy excitement as everyone picked their pumpkin patch.

After all the work was done, it was about mid- day. You and Link head home, two big bright orange pumpkins in tow. You spend the next several hours in the kitchen, prepping each pumpkin for its respective meals. You and Link talk exchange stories and affections, and the occasional warm drink or two before your pumpkins are done.

As the sun sets, Link fixes the two of you bowls of the most aromatic pumpkin soup, and you pull the most gorgeous pumpkin pie out of the oven. In each others embrace, you enjoy your meal by your fire.

Your favorite day is never anything extravagant or extra ordinary. But it’s just as warm, comfortable, and satisfying as you need it to be to fill your soul of autumn, your lover, and your favorite pumpkins.

I thought it would have been the end of it but I was wrong because it festered in my head.

I just hit 250 followers, and I think that maybe it’s ok to open them.

That being said, I want to still write for the Links but not in the context of LU so please keep that in mind. So we can just have Link and whatever game!

I’m also willing to do other character but man, I know… so little.

I thought of you suddenly on the road today and I had to sit and write before I got distracted again. Weather it’s a stray bokoblin, an insect, wild animal, or even the weather, there’s nothing short of business going on in Hyrule on my journey. So many simple things like this remind me of you, which is why I was struck with the need to write in the first place… but it seems like I don’t have very much to write about in the first place! Nonetheless, reminders of you are woven into my life, and I learn more and more each day that I can’t quite live without you… Hopefully soon I won’t have to!

As you and the others settle down for the night, everyone pairs off to find their rooms. All the boys, including yourself, had finally saved enough money to rent rooms in an inn for a couple of nights. Of course, it wasn’t the most ritzy place, but you decided that a warm bed was just what you and the others needed to get some much needed rest before you continued your journey.

However, you only had enough for everyone to share rooms. Meaning everyone was pairing off for the night- leaving you and Time. Not that you were complaining, secretly you were hoping for some down time between the two of you. It seemed like he had the same idea, because when you got to your room he immediately locked the door behind you. You laugh.

“Getting ahead of yourself already? We haven’t even settled in.” He takes his turn to laugh at you.

“I’m just planning ahead”

You giggle and massage his shoulders after he strips off his heavy armor, leaving kisses on his bare skin wherever you could reach as he takes you into his arms. You two retreat to your bed together, sharing passionate kisses as things begin to heat up.

With loving caresses, Time guides you above him- he didn’t want to go crazy, he just wanted to enjoy feeling you with him. Feeling your presence, feeling connected to you in this way made him feel at peace with himself.

When the two of you feel complete and satisfied, you lie your head on his chest, tucked into the side of his body. His arms are wrapped securely around you, humming soft songs to you as the two of you drift off to sleep.
