We Can Stop The Spread Of Coronavirus
Humanity is facing the biggest challenge of coronavirus spread in this decade. To survive it we need to protect ourselves and stop the spread. However, we can stop the spread of #coronavirus.
A coronavirus-infected person can infect many people, therefore not getting infected must be your priority. In order to keep yourself, family, friends and others safe and sound, it is necessary to collect the information necessary to stay safe from infection.
Following are some of the ways to prevent this #infection and to slow down its transmission:
1. GET VACCINATED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE. THE CORONAVIRUS VACCINES HELP US DEVELOP A PROTECTION SYSTEM IN THE BODY WHICH IS KNOWN AS IMMUNITY.
COVID-19 vaccines help our body develop immunity to the virus that causes #COVID-19 and also helps us not to get ill.
2. WEARING A WELL-FITTED, HIGHLY PROTECTIVE MASK SHOULD BE MADE A NORMAL PART OF WHEN PEOPLE ARE AROUND.
Clean your hands before applying your #mask, as well as before and after removing it, and at any time after touching it.
Make sure that it covers your nose, mouth, and chin.
When you take off a mask, store it in a clean plastic bag, and wash it every day either if it is a cloth mask, or dispose of a medical mask in the trash bin.
Do not use masks with valves.

Without thinking of their families, they are serving us. And the only thing we can do and teach our children to do is RESPECT them.
They are the heroes and our saviors.
LET’S THANK EVERY POLICE PROFESSIONAL, DOCTOR, NURSE AND OTHER HEALTHCARE WORKERS WHO WE COME ACROSS. ALSO, TELL THEM WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR THEIR SERVICE. IT WON’T TAKE ANYTHING FROM US BUT MOTIVATE THEM IN THESE HARD TIMES.

Depression Treatment Everyone Should Know
Depression treatment everyone should know
There are many treatment options available, for example, counselling, medication, healthy lifestyle changes etc. Learning about them will help to decide which approach is right for a person as no two persons are affected by depression precisely in the same way.
Some treatment options might be more useful to one person but not so effective for the other one.
We all experience both happy and sad events in life. It is evident that everyone enjoys happy moments, but sometimes people get depressed due to tragic circumstances. Depression happens because; people have different perspectives towards life.
Depending on the outlook towards life, we can differentiate people as follows:
– People, who maintain their self-esteem and positive mental frame even in the period of sadness. And they restart their normal activities after some time.
– People who become sad at sad events, but their self-esteem grows low. They experience feelings of worthlessness and self-loathing. Their mental outlook becomes negative; they lose interest in activities they enjoyed before, and their mood does not change even after a long time. They may think that Life is not fair
They cannot improve the things in their lives.
They do not deserve success or happiness
because they are not capable of the same. People believe themselves unlucky.
They are failures.
Others are responsible for failures and grievances.
Bad about their selves and have no self-regard.
The category two people are considered to be in a depressed condition.
The causes and symptoms of depression are different with different people. Hence the mode of treatment also varies from one person to other. However, the good news is, every kind of depression is treatable. So, when someone, suffering from depression, feels like he/she will never get out of the darkness in life, their dear ones must assure that even the most severe depression is treatable and the person must not hesitate to seek help.
It is unfortunate that depression remains untreated, most of the time because people hesitate to speak about it. The social stigma associated with depression prevents people from seeking help due to the fear of being considered as mentally unstable.
Sometimes, due to the lack of awareness on depression, people are unable to identify the signs of the depression, and they remain stuck in unhealthy behaviour patterns for a long time. Eventually, they become dull, and their condition of depression aggravates due to the disease remain untreated. Ultimately, the sufferer and his/her family both face an adverse effect.
It must be noted that depression should not be considered as weakness or mental instability. People must treat it as an illness like diabetes or heart problems, and it can affect anyone and anytime during their lifetime.
An interesting fact about the recovery from this disease is that the healing starts with the recognition that there is some problem. As soon as the person accepts that his/her behaviour pattern is wrong and changes are required to be recovered, he/she gets ready for the treatment
Even if the person in depression does not know the cause, type of depression and remedy of the same, one should not hesitate to seek help from a professional therapist. The person undergoing depression treatment is advised to get information about his/her disease from the internet and some books recommended by his/her doctor.
There are many treatment options available, for example, counselling, medication, healthy lifestyle changes etc. Learning about them will help to decide which approach is right for a person as no two persons are affected by depression precisely in the same way. Some treatment options might be more useful to one person but not so effective for the other one.
Therefore, one of the most critical steps in xample, counselling, medication, healthy lifestyle changes etc. Learning about them will help to decide which approach is right for a person as no two persons aretreating depression is by gaining knowledge about it. When the person and his family, both are well informed, the treatment is done more effectively.
Types of depression treatment:
Medication
Due to other medical conditions
Psychotherapy
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)
Electronic Convulsive Therapy (ECT)
Lifestyle Changes
1.MEDICATION:
Depression occurs due to the change in brain chemistry. The antidepressants medicines modify the brain chemistry. These should be taken on the advice of the psychiatrists and must be stopped only on the recommendation of a doctor or medical practitioner.
2. DUE TO OTHER MEDICAL CONDITIONS:
Many medical conditions can cause symptoms of depression, including sadness, fatigue, and loss of enthusiasm. The doctor prescribes medical tests to rule out the possibilities of underlying medical ailments. If the person is diagnosed with such a condition, he/she is treated accordingly. Sometimes, only the treatment of the underlying diseases cures the patient. In case he/she requires other depression treatments, the doctor advises as per the need.
3. PSYCHOTHERAPY:
Psychotherapy involves talking to the person by a qualified therapist. It may affect only the individual or sometimes may include family or couple depending upon the requirement of the case. Sometimes, it is used alone for treatment of mild depression. For moderate to severe depression, psychotherapy is often used along with antidepressant medications.
4. COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY (CBT):
This theory helps in changing the negative thinking and behaviour associated with depression. According to this theory, it is believed that humans have both negative and positive tendencies based on their irrational thinking and rational thinking. And irrational patterns of thought, feeling and behaving are the causes of human depression.
CBT helps to identify feelings, thoughts and behaviour that co-work to make one feel happy, sad, excited, depressed, irritable, etc. It teaches first to observe the thoughts and behaviour and then apply the rules of logic, straight thinking to understand, control and stop their negative thinking pattern that triggers depression.
Negative thoughts (“I can never get success despite my best efforts”) are identified and then replaced with positive thoughts (“I can get success”). This transformation helps them identify their negative thoughts and behaviour with logical reasoning and then replacing them with a positive alternative. The practice of such thinking leads to more effective and positive response. It is also observed that unconditional acceptance of self, others and life itself are important to attain mental wellness.
Sometimes merely changing one’s behaviour can bring about a positive change in feelings and mood. The habit can be as simple as listening to favourite music and going to buy something from the market.
5. ELECTRONIC CONVULSIVE THERAPY (ECT):
Highly qualified professional doctors do ECT to the patients suffering from severe depression. It involves light electrical stimulation of the brain while the patient is under anaesthesia. A team of trained medical professionals including a psychiatrist, an anesthesiologist and a nurse are involved in the process.
6. LIFESTYLE CHANGES:
Lifestyle changes alone might not treat depression, but they play an essential role in the treatment of depression. Having a healthful lifestyle is the prerequisite to keep one away from depression. If someone is suffering from depression and does not follow a healthy lifestyle, then it is recommended to adopt changes where required. That will help him/her to get better results from the treatment he/she is undergoing.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE TIPS TO FIGHT DEPRESSION:EXERCISE:
Doing activities for about an hour every day boosts all feel-good hormones such as serotonin, endorphins in the body. It creates a positive impact on the mood of a person. Exercises trigger the growth of new brain cells just the same way antidepressant medicines do. Hence, exercises calm and relax the mind at the time of stress and thus helps in coping with depression.
Have some sunlight and also practise meditation, yoga and deep breathing.

SOCIAL SUPPORT:
Social isolation is the principal risk factor for depression. Hence keeping contact with friends and family is a must. Often, the simple act of talking to someone face-to-face can be an enormous help. To increase social group, one must join some hobby classes or some other group of interest. The best way to get social support system is to help people and volunteer some services.
NUTRITION:
Having a well-balanced diet is significant for both physical and mental health. The food must include the right amount of the entire nutrients required for the body. It is better to have a diet chart by a qualified doctor. Eating small, well-balanced meals throughout the day helps to maintain energy level high throughout the day and minimise mood swings.
SLEEP:
Having a good night sleep is an essential factor to deal with depression because the rest has a substantial effect on mood. Deprivation from seep increases irritability, moodiness, sadness, and fatigue. Seven to nine hours of sleep is required to keep healthy and depression free.
Need to identify day to day Stress and try to reduce them:
Overloaded by work, unfriendly relations and lack of support system, be unsatisfied with the achievements in life, stuck in the rat race of the society, all these lead to stress.
Too much stress worsens the situation and leads to future depression. Therefore, some changes must be done to change the perspective of life and make it stress-free.
It is better to consult with a therapist or family about the day to day stress and save ourselves from future depression.
BREAK THE CYCLE OF NEGATIVITY:
Depression starts with the constant feelings of negative thoughts, for example, feelings of self-loathing, guilt, being useless etc. Such kind of persistent thoughts must be checked on a daily basis and replace them with positive thoughts.
Maintaining a journal (personal diary), writing recurrent negative thoughts in it and replacing them with the happier ones can break the cycle of negativity.
BE ACTIVE:
Write your dairy every day and include a few small tasks of personal choices in it. Having achievable targets is good. Try to complete them in a day as much as possible. It will help to boost morale and self-worth.
DO NOT MAKE IMPOSSIBLE TARGETS:
It is okay to wish to achieve something big in life. But, big goals sometimes create a lot of unnecessary stress. Hence, one needs to break the big goal into smaller ones. Accomplishing smaller objectives one after the other and keep celebrating every little achievement. Life is not a race. One should enjoy every scene of the beautiful journey of life.
SPEND SOME TIME WITH NATURE:
Nature is a true healer. Humans must experience the existence of beautiful view because there is a real bliss in it. It cannot be explained only by words; One should experience it. Hence, spend some time alone with trees, plants, sky, moon; stars etc.
Last but not the least, Talk to someone about depression:
People hesitate to talk about their depression. It leads to living with depression for quite a long time. The untreated depression aggravates the condition of the sufferer. Just by opening up to someone about struggles can make the person feel light. So one must not hesitate to talk to trusted family members or friends or seek out new connections at a depression support group.
We should remember that asking for help or sharing weakness does not mean that the person is a burden to others. Often talking face to face with someone can be very effective in dealing with depression.
***********
Things to remember while getting depression treatment:
Sometimes therapy can be challenging to handle, but people should not leave it in the middle of treatment. However, if the person is not comfortable with the therapist, he should not hesitate to explore other options. A healthy and trusting relationship between the therapist and the patient is the foundation of sound therapy.
Do not hide any information from the doctor. The doctor must know everything about the medical as well as psychological conditions of the person. The doctor can decide the right treatment strategies only when he knows the complete details of the person.
Learning about depression is essential. It helps the person to understand that depression treatments take time, and sometimes it might feel overwhelming or frustratingly slow because it takes time to find the right solution. So, one should be ready for a little experimentation.
Healthy lifestyle changes bring positive results from the treatment.

How To Protect Children From Bullying At School?
HOW TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
To protect children from bullying at school is crucial. Sometimes you are not aware of the problems our children face in school. Some children shy away from sharing such things with their parents. As a parent, you need to know how to handle your kids when bullying happens to your kids.
WHAT IS BULLYING?
In schools, some children threaten, tease or hurt other weaker children in their class or other classmates. They enjoy acting like this and don’t care how the weak student feels. These days we call this practice Bullying.
A few days back I saw Rohit’s name among the top hundred youngest CEO in the country. Though I was happy and proud of his achievement, this was unbelievable for me. The boy, who was so skinny, shy, stammered while speaking in his teens, how he could be so successful in his career.
About 25 years ago, Rohit’s family lived in my neighbourhood; they were simple and modest people. As Rohit was growing, his performance in the class was getting worse. He used to remain sad and did not talk to anyone. He stayed in his room all day long and had no interest in any activity.
For Rohit, his parents were quite worried. So they met his teachers, classmates and school counsellor. They discovered that a few children in school had been teasing Rohit about his looks, his oversized thick eyeglass frame and also for stammering while communicating. Rohit used to get hurt by them when he got irritated.
The parents got shocked after knowing that their child had been facing abuse for such a long time. Like everyone Rohit’s parents also brought him up with love and care, so It was harrowing for them to go through such an experience. However, they did not give up. And with the help of school teachers, counsellors and doctors they paid more attention to Rohit.
A few days later, people started noticing some positive changes in Rohit. After a few days, Rohit’s father got transfer orders, and all of them shifted to another city and he went all along. Since then, I was not in touch with them, and I did not know that Rohit was in the same city.
It was apparent by his achievements that his parents would have dealt with Rohit’s problems appropriately; otherwise, the future of that child could have been dark.
Therefore to make your children aware and safe from getting bullied in school parents should be well aware of this bullying.
BULLYING CAN HAPPEN IN TWO WAYS.
Children can either cause physical injury to the other or,
They can mentally or emotionally disturb the weaker ones. This can be making fun of children, teasing, imitating them, by repeatedly calling them funny names.
WHO IS MOST LIKELY TO BE A VICTIM OF BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
The children with whom this happens are mostly either too fat or very thin.
There can be some awkward things in them like their eyeglasses, their clothes or hairstyles that keep separate them from the other children.
He or she might be a newcomer in the school or physically weak.
They are already victims of depression or low self-esteem in some way.
Such children are not popular and do not have many friends.
IS IT NECESSARY TO PREVENT CHILDREN FROM BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
It is crucial to stop the bullying because the children with whom this happens have adverse effects on them.
In the first place, they become mentally disturbed, and many times they go into depression. They remain unhappy and feel lonely.
Secondly, neither do they want to go to school nor do they want to study.
In addition, their sleep and food patterns also change.
Moreover, their grades also fall in their studies, and they do not feel like participating in school activities. Sometimes children who are bullied do not share their feelings with anyone because they feel helpless.
As a matter of fact, the children do not tell their parents about bullying because they assume the parents will not be able to help them with this. And it is often true. It is seen that people, in general, do not understand the seriousness of bullying. Sometimes parents are entirely unaware of bullying.
Also, many times Children want to handle the situation by themselves. They are afraid that they will be considered weak. They are also afraid of saying to someone as they feel the complaint might increase their troubles.
Not to mention, Bullying creates a shameful experience for children. They want to hide their experience because of shame. As they feel lonely and believe that no one cares for them. The fear to lose their friends because of bullying is always prevailing within them.
WHEN SHOULD THE PARENTS TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
First, if the child shows any injuries which he is unable to tell what caused him?
Second, If the children lose their clothes, books or anything else in the school.
Third, often they have a headache or stomach ache due to which they do not want to go to school.
Fourth, The pattern of food and sleep changes suddenly. He often starts eating different food they keep awake at night.
Fifth, The interest in their studies decreases and their grades decline. They do not want to participate in other activities of the school’s separate activities too.
Sixth, Their friends also suddenly become very low, and their self-esteem is also very low.
Seventh, He/She often gets irritated at home, sometimes speaking of escape from home. He sometimes talks about harming himself or herself. If any such symptoms are seen, then parents must take action immediately.
WHAT CAN PARENTS DO TO PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
First, Parents should check their children’s class newsletters for any information related to the school. Parents must also check the school website regularly.
Second, they must visit the events which are taking place in the school.
Third, They should even greet the bus driver well so that he takes care of the child on the bus.
Fourth, regular meetings with teachers and counsellors are also essential to be updated with the child’s performance in school.
In continuation, usually, children do not tell their parents about the bullying in their school, so it becomes difficult for parents to know. So be communicative with the kids. Talk to them about bullying and tell them how to deal with it.
Also, tell the children that if there is any such incident in school or society, then tell the parents or their teachers about this.
Lastly, tell the children that to be bullied is not their fault, but it is the mistake of those kids who do this. Therefore it is essential to inform the teachers or counsellors in school. If required they should also seek help from a psychologist or counsellor.
HOW SHOULD PARENTS PROTECT CHILDREN FROM BULLYING AT SCHOOL?
In such a case, the parents and the teacher should accompany the children to find a solution to the situation. Explain to your children that they do not fight themselves.
First of all, parents should make their children feel safe. Explain the way to children that if such an incident happens to them, then what they should do.
The children should not be alone in school. They should stay with friends. They must not go to the bathroom or a locker alone.
Parents should tell the children that this is not their fault.
These children should be separated from bullies in schools.
To understand what had happened at the time of the incident, parents need to ask other children present at the time of the incident separately.
The parents need to explain to their children tell the teachers if such a thing happens in the class. This is not a sign of cowardice, but a sign of power.
Early identification prevents bullying. As soon as someone starts bullying, he /she should be immediately stopped otherwise its strength increases and it may happen again and again.
Therefore, children should be assertive. To say your point with firmness, without fear, without hesitation, respecting your self-esteem and without offending others is being assertive. If a child has this skill, then he or she does not face a problem in adjusting it anywhere.
If the children respond strongly to the bully, the bully gets discouraged. Help them to learn how to deal with such a situation by keeping the right body language. Prepare them to respond with self-confidence.
Teach them to talk to the bully face to face. Keep a little distance from bullies. When you speak to that bully, take his/her name.
Conclusion
Parents should be aware of this behaviour among children. They must take immediate action if their children are involved in bullying. The children who bully or the children who are bullied, both need counselling. We can prevent Children from bullying at school and in society by following the steps mentioned in this article.

It Is Essential To Teach Cooking During Covid-19 Pandemic
THAT IS RIGHT! YOU MUST TEACH COOKING TO YOUR CHILDREN DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC TIME. ALSO, GIVE THEM KNOWLEDGE ABOUT DIFFERENT FOOD ITEMS AND NUTRITION
Food is an essential part of our lives. It is one of the reasons we are alive. This makes it so important that each one of us knows how to cook. Because without food we can’t stay alive for long. It is the necessity of our life. Yet it is mostly seen that it is only the woman of the house who knows cooking and not the other family members. This is especially true in India. Though we have men who are big chefs but when it comes to cooking at home, it’s mostly done by women. You have to realize that cooking is a life-saving skill and everybody should know how to cook food for survival and living. As parents, it becomes your responsibility to make sure that your children learn this essential skill. So, you must teach cooking to your children during Corona Pandemic time.
WHY SHOULD YOU KNOW COOKING DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC
● COOKING MAKES YOU SELF SUFFICIENT
A person strives to become independent by educating himself/herself and growing his/her bank balance. But is he/she even independent if he/she has to order food every time he/she is hungry or depends on someone else to cook for them? Are you even independent if you can’t make something as simple as an omelet or sandwich to satisfy your hunger? It doesn’t matter if you have a cook at home, knowing cooking makes you independent in the true sense as you can’t live without eating for long and makes you self-sufficient as you don’t have to depend on others for your food especially in times like we are going through now.
● COOKING SAVES YOU A LOT OF MONEY
With Coronavirus dominating the way our lives are going right now, the majority of us have shifted to home-cooked food as it is more hygienic. Also, no one of us wants to take any risk by ordering outside food. But the main thing here is that you must have noticed that your expenses have significantly decreased as you are not ordering food from outside. Cooking at home doesn’t only make you independent but also saves you a lot of money. The best part here is that the food you cook at home is better than your order.
● COOKING KEEPS YOU HEALTHY
When you cook food, you get to know more about the nutritional value of various food items. This makes you more knowledgeable and careful about what you eat and what you should eat. Gradually it will help you to be more healthy. Also, home-cooked food is more hygienic and thus saves you from unwanted infections. When you know how to cook, you tend to order less outside junk food.
● COOKING IS THERAPEUTIC
Cooking is not just any skill but it is an art, An art that takes practice and patience to ace it. But it is in reach of every human and can be mastered by anyone. Like any other art, cooking helps you to relax your mind and can be very therapeutic as it is a creative process. Cooking should not be considered as another household chore, it is much more than that. It is a creative process, an art, and a passion for many.
● COOKING MAKES YOU IMPRESSIVE
Our personality is a combination of many factors. One of them is your skills. Like knowing any other skill adds to your personality, so does the cooking. Cooking makes your personality impressive in a manner that you don’t have to be dependent on anyone, you know the most important life-saving skill and adding to that your spouse and children would be happier to have someone who cooks delicious food
WHY SHOULD YOU TEACH COOKING TO YOUR CHILDREN DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC TIME?
● PROMOTES BETTER LIFESTYLE
The lifestyle we have today is very unhealthy especially that of our children. They sit long hours on a chair working on their computers. Other times they are stuck on their mobile phones. Not just that they prefer ordering food or going out to eat rather than cooking home.
● PREPARES YOUR CHILD WITH A SURVIVAL SKILL FOR FUTURE
Also, your child might be traveling and shifting to another city or country in the future for studies or work. This would mean they would either be staying in a PG or in a hostel. We cannot guarantee the quality of food at these places even if we pay more for their services. But what you can do is to teach your child how to cook so he/she doesn’t have to rely on anyone else to cook good and hygienic food for them.
● INCREASES KNOWLEDGE OF NUTRITION
As a parent, you should try to cultivate the habit and skill of cooking in your children since childhood only. Not just cooking rather you should also make your child aware of the various nutrients that our body requires and how we get those through healthy home-cooked food.
Nutrients that food provides for proper growth, energy, proper functioning of the body, and increase immunity are important to be known by everyone for healthy living. However, we can generally learn about this by studying nutrients. But when we know how to cook, it becomes easy to track the intake of nutrients present in the food. You know what is best for you to eat and don’t just eat randomly. This would also help to reduce the intake of junk food by your child. This not just ensures that you will have good health even your family will have good health.
There are essential nutrients that your body doesn’t make and you need to get it from food. These are proteins, fats, carbohydrates, vitamins, minerals, and water. Benefits of having knowledge of what you eat, how you eat, and why you eat don’t end here. A healthy body will also help in maintaining good mental health which is even more important for a good life.
● MAKES THEM UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF FOOD
According to FAO estimates in ‘The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World, 2019’ report, 194.4 million people are undernourished in India. So many people only get to eat food one time. This makes it very important for you as a parent to inculcate such values in your children that help them to understand the importance of food. One way of doing it is by teaching them to cook. When one cooks he/she starts respecting the efforts that go into cooking food and realizes that one should not waste the food. They become more aware and would only take the food that they can eat on their plate be it at home or outside. They won’t leave any food on the plate as they would know its value.
● DISTRACTS THEM FROM USING GADGETS AND THUS REDUCING SCREEN TIME
Aren’t we all parents so frustrated with the amount of time our children spend on their laptops and mobile phones? Cooking is a skill that can help you to reduce screen time.
● SHARPENS MEMORY
Cooking involves recalling all the ingredients that are required to make a dish. It might be that first time, they will read the recipe from somewhere or you tell them but gradually as they make more and more dishes they would have the ingredients and process stored in their minds for different dishes. This would keep their brain working and improve their memory power.
But it doesn’t end here. When we have knowledge of food, we also realize that not many know the agricultural process that goes to produce food. And this makes it important for us to make our children be aware of the same. This would also make your child be interested in kitchen gardening.
To conclude, I just want to highlight that food is an essential part of our lives. Thus, having knowledge about various vegetables, fruits and other eating. items and knowing how to cook them would help in living our lives in a much better way. Above all, you should make it a promise to teach cooking to your children during Corona Pandemic time.
Please share to Facebook, Twitter and Whatsapp if you like this article. Also, comment to let me know your views.

What Should You Do If You Feel Lonely?
What should you do if you feel lonely?
Here are a few things you need to take care of when you are feeling loneliness or social isolation.
Humans are social by nature. They live in the company of family, friends, communities and work organisations. However, there are moments when people want their privacy and a little time for themselves. So they need staying alone for a while to experience positive, pleasurable and emotionally refreshing time. Being alone is a state when people sometimes spend secluded from other people, and this is their conscious choice.
However, sometimes people feel isolated even though staying with other people. They overly need people around them all the time; still, they feel cut off, disconnected and isolated from others. They do not have any meaningful human contact, and therefore they feel empty and hollow from inside. Such an emotional state of mind is called loneliness, which makes the people insecure, anxious and sometimes depressed.
Lonely people need the company of other people only out of fear of being alone. A counsellor always knows that a relationship that is based on fear remains unhappy and unfulfilling.
Lonely people are not comfortable in their own company; they continuously find themselves isolated. They cannot build deep levels of affinity with others. Unknowingly they even stop themselves from being good performers.
REASONS FOR BEING LONELY:
1.Loneliness can occur due to sudden death or extended absence of a loved one.
2.Loneliness is a response to a divorce or breakup of any long-term relationship. In such circumstances, loneliness happens due to the loss of a specific person. It also happens due to the withdrawal from society.
3 Married couples also feel loneliness when there is a lack of a loving relationship or communication between the couple.
4 Some people have a fear of being alone as they believe that their family might abandon them at some point in life.
5 Fear of being alone is also associated with a lack of self-confidence and self-esteem. People with low self-esteem do not feel connected with others. They have a strong feeling that people do not like them, and they are a burden to others.
6 People fear to be alone due to medical conditions, to carry out day to day activities, safety issues in old age.
7 Loneliness can also occur due to the belief that we cannot enjoy alone. A person may never have a chance to live alone and enjoy private moments and the comfort of being alone. Because of the fear of being alone, people do never attempt to enjoy the company of them, and they always want people with them. However, if they try to experience being abandoned and then start enjoying the feeling of Independence, they become very confident.
HOW TO OVERCOME LONELINESS:
1. There are many advantages to overcome the fear of loneliness. When you are alone, you have time to think calmly, and there is a particular kind of peace you can experience. Time spent alone is sometimes can even more enjoyable than the time spent with others. So, one thing to remember is that being alone does not mean Being Lonely.
2.People who have good relations with people do not feel lonely. If a person listens patiently and helps others, do not suffer lonely. So the person who does not maintain good relations suffers later.
3.In old age, people feel alone as they start feeling that they are worthless because usually, they do not continue to work after retirement. Therefore, after getting a retirement, they should keep some personal work. It will help them feel worthy and confident. The work can be social service, some teaching to society or related to some other skill of choice. They can meet new people by continuing some job. If a person’s presence is helpful to other people in any way, he/she will be wanted everywhere.
4.Therefore each one should always explore new options in life. Take an example of actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is working despite his illness. Loneliness at any age can be handled by making ourselves wanted by others and not making ourselves dependent.
5.Relaxation techniques like breathing exercises, muscle relaxation, guided meditation and soothing self-talks are a few tools to deal with loneliness.

How Can I Overcome My Depression?
How Can I Overcome my depression?
“I am completely devastated due to my family problems and job.
It seems that I have lost energy to fight my current circumstances.
How can I overcome my depression?”
Whenever we fall sick, we go to the doctor.
We come back completely healthy from there.
However, when the doctor falls sick, he treats himself because he knows the cause and treatment of his illness.
Similarly, in adverse situations in life, we have to become our doctor.
These adverse conditions are like sickness, if we react with the right attitude, then problems can be over.
In general, our attitude towards adverse conditions of life becomes so negative that despite knowing their solutions, we can not cope adequately with the situation.
However, when someone shares issues of life with us, then we recommend them with the best solution possible.
It is astonishing that we have a solution to their problems, but when we come under such circumstances, our attitude towards the problem changes.
IN THIS ARTICLE, YOU WILL FIND WAYS IN DETAIL TO FIND SOLUTIONS TO YOUR PROBLEMS AND THE WAYS TO OVERCOME DEPRESSION
First of all, you will have to become your best friend.
For this, you will have to look yourself in the mirror.
The one you are watching is your true friend.
Now the way you advise your friends, relatives and family members, similarly, you will have to encourage and help your friend.
What may you have to do to help your friend?
1. ALL WILL BE FINE:
Although it is a simple mantra, its meaning is profound. It means the result of any circumstances will be alright. We just have to choose the right path to achieve success. So, you should explain to your friend that whatever situation she/he is facing now, one day everything will be fine.
2. SOLUTIONS TO KEEP A
POSITIVE APPROACH
:
Having an evening walk in the nearby park or market area, Going to a gym for exercises, Playing sports with friends or in a sports club, Going out for shopping Listening to music Watching a favorite movie or anything that brings happiness.
You have to persuade your friend to do something like that because doing so will reduce stress.
Any work that pleases the mind reduces stress and increases the ability to think positively.
A person can find a solution to any problem only when his mind is relaxed, and he thinks positively.
3. YOU SHOULD ADVISE YOUR FRIEND TO TALK TO A RELATIVE, COUNSELOR OR A FRIEND ABOUT HIS DILEMMAS.
That is because if we share our dilemmas with anyone, we can get a solution.
It would be good if we consult with a professional counselor.
In conclusion, we must share out thoughts with someone who may not only listen but also understands the situation.
4. TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM, WE REQUIRE TIME AND PATIENCE.
Patience is one factor that plays an essential role in solving many problems.
Sometimes, problems are like a knot entangled in a thread.
Like, if thread entangles, it becomes challenging to free it but if we take the thread and open its knots one by one we can free the thread from entangles.
However, if we try to open all the knots at once, it gets more entangled.
Similarly, for solving any problem, patience and time play a significant role.
If you lose a job, it may be due to some reasons.
If you could spend time in finding the reasons for your job loss then may be the reason for job loss would be something on which you have no control like global recession, lay off etc.
You need to pay attention to those reasons. And then, looking at the current scenario in the market, try to find a new job. If you work with time and discretion, then you will definitely get a good job.
5. START LIVING IN THE PRESENT:
Whatever has happened in the past no one has control over that. We just have control over the present moments.
If we make the best use of our present, then the future will definitely be delightful.
6. LIVE EVERY MOMENT IN LIFE:
Planning a lot of things creates tension in mind. Therefore, if we live with a positive attitude every day, then problems in life will be resolved gradually.
Sometimes, we take our problems too seriously. If we look around, we will find people are suffering from different issues in their lives.
Like your problem of job loss and family issues, you will find many people are facing the same challenges. And they try to resolve those challenges in their ways.
So you also move slowly towards improving your life.
7. ENGAGE YOURSELF IN SOME ACTIVITIES:
It is advisable to engage everyone in some work to ward off problems.
It reduces stress and makes everyone more complete and gratifying.
8.
ACCEPTANCE
IS THE TRUTH
Life is the combination of both happiness and misery. The way we accept the joy in life, we should also take the sufferings in the same way. No one’s life is always happy or always sad. Life has both the shades, try to understand this fact.

Is It Safe To Get The Covid-19 Vaccine?
One should not be discouraged from taking the COVID-19 vaccine even if there are skin ailments. This is because these side effects are considered rare. Even in cases where these side effects were reported, they resolved quickly and were not long-term health complications.
CAN A COVID-19 POSITIVE PERSON TAKE A VACCINE?
If any person has received the first dose and has acquired COVID-19 infection before taking the second dose. He should postpone the second dose for three months after clinical recovery from the COVID-19 disease. A person with any other serious general illness requiring hospitalization or ICU care should also wait for 4-8 weeks before receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
IS THE COVID-19 VACCINE RECOMMENDED FOR LACTATING WOMEN?
Covid-19 vaccination is recommended for all lactating women. There is no requirement for screening of the vaccine recipients by rapid antigen test (RAT) before covid-19 vaccination.
How effective is the Covid-19 vaccine?
No vaccine is 100 percent effective for everyone. This means that vaccinated people will still have COVID transmission. Some vaccines are 95 percent efficacy.
WHY DO SOME PEOPLE HAVE SIDE EFFECTS AFTER COVID-19 VACCINES?
All vaccines, including COVID-19, have the potential for side effects. According to the World Health Organization, the most common side effects after COVID-19 vaccines are fatigue, fever, headache, body aches, chills, nausea, diarrhea and injection site pain.
Everyone is affected differently by vaccination. Some people may experience little or no side effects while others may have many side effects and feel very sick. However, if someone does not feel anything for a day or two after a dose, it does not mean that the vaccine is not working.
Temporary side effects including headache, fatigue, and fever are signs that the immune system is improving – a common response to vaccines. And they are common.
HOW LONG DO SIDE EFFECTS LAST?
The adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccines should only last for a few days. If they last longer, one should contact a doctor.
Some side effects, such as fever, chills, and fatigue, are also symptoms of COVID-19. It is possible to get a SARS-CoV-2 infection just before or after receiving the vaccine – before the body has a chance to produce the right antibodies and build up immunity. Also, while vaccines are very effective, they do not guarantee 100% protection against the virus.
Anyone who develops COVID-19 after receiving the vaccine was likely to have been exposed to the virus before sufficient immunity was built up.
If side effects like COVID-19 symptoms persist, one should take a COVID-19 test and follow local guidelines about self-isolation.
CAN A MASK PREVENT THE TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19?
Masks should be used to suppress transmission of covid-19 and save lives. The use of masks alone is not enough to provide an adequate level of protection against COVID-19.
If COVID-19 is spreading in nearby places, people should stay safe by taking some simple precautions, such as social distancing, wearing a mask, keeping rooms well-ventilated, avoiding crowds, cleaning your hands and bending elbows or tissues when cough.
Everyone must make wearing a mask a normal part of being around other people. Proper use, storage and cleaning or disposal are essential to making the mask as effective as possible.
CAN FULLY VACCINATED PEOPLE TRANSMIT COVID-19 TO OTHERS?
Having two doses of vaccination does not mean immune against COVID-19.
People who have completed two doses of vaccination can feel that their life has become normal but there is still a chance that they could become infected. It is not the time to reduce security.
Completing two doses of vaccination means that people have completed a COVID-19 vaccine series recommended for best protection against serious complications such as hospitalization and/or death. No vaccine provides 100% protection against disease, yet it gives you a better chance of fighting the infectious consequences of being exposed to the coronavirus.

One thing which the doctors and scientists can say is that getting vaccinated is still a safe option to prevent serious disease for you, your loved ones, and for communities.
HOW WELL ARE THE COVID-19 VACCINES PROTECTING PEOPLE?
The people who become fully or partially vaccinated with COVID-19 may be less likely to spread the virus to others.
WHY ARE VACCINATED PEOPLE STILL GETTING COVID-19?
“Immunization with COVID-19 vaccines provides the best protection two weeks after receiving a second dose. If a person tests positive for COVID-19 or becomes ill a few days later, most likely they were exposed before completion of two weeks after the second dose.
WHY DO I NEED A COVID-19 VACCINATION CERTIFICATE?
A COVID Vaccine Certificate (CVC) issued by the government provides an assurance to the beneficiary on the vaccination and the type of vaccine used. It gives a provisional certificate due for the next vaccination. It is also proof for the citizen to prove any institution that may require proof of vaccination especially in case of travel. Vaccination not only protects individuals from disease but also reduces their risk of spreading the virus. Therefore, some types of social interactions and international travel may require the submission of certificates in the future.
CAN I TAKE A SECOND DOSE WITH A DIFFERENT VACCINE THAN THE FIRST?
It is not recommended.
SHOULD PEOPLE EAT OR DRINK DIFFERENTLY A DAY OR TWO AFTER GETTING VACCINATED?
The effectiveness of the vaccine does not depend on what a person eats or drinks before or after taking the vaccine.
