“Oui, oui,” Louis says, waving him off with a flick of his wrist before focusing his attention back on the man and his daughters. Come on, he thinks, I’ve got to get this down before I forget. He repeats himself: “What are you?”

Lips spreading into an amused smile now, something sensational, an unbelievably charming smile. Oh god, Louis thinks. He’s probably too charming for his own good. “I’m… um… a person? Is this a trick question?”

Liam bent over Harry’s desk to read the email. “What? This isn’t bad. Is that your to-do list? Did you finally come up with the inside text for those cards?”

“Leeyum" he groaned. “It’s what’s on the list.”

“Oh,” Liam paused for a beat. “Is it dirty stuff?”

Harry nodded.

There was more silence. And then, “Dirty stuff with Louis?”

He’s standing with his hands on his hips and one knee slightly bent, his thighs thick where they extend past the ragged hem of his denim shorts. His biceps are defined and his hands look small but capable, and Harry’s mouth is quite literally watering.

“What’s his name?” Harry asks, without taking his gaze off the boy in the doorway. He doesn’t want to blink and miss a single moment of eye candy.

Zayn chuckles. “See something you like, then?”

“You know the rule, Z,” Harry answers, still not pulling his eyes away from this unexpected Adonis. “If I lick it, it’s mine.”

Hi... looking for a fic where louis is in a long-term relationship with omc, they take a break, and louis goes off for an internship or something. Louis texts his friend group that he's back. His ex is ready to reconnect, but louis brings back Harry. The ex keeps thinking it's a temp situation and keeps waiting for Harry to leave louis, but he never does. Ring any bells? I've searched for months. Does this sound familiar?

Or, when Louis' favourite singer comes back and announces he's performing again, him and the rest of his group chat decide to go. When Haz, the man Louis' fallen in love with without meeting him, says that he can't, Louis tries his best to convince him with a drunken phone call, hearing his voice for the first time. It's not until he's at Royal Variety that he swears he can hear it again.

Lie to their loved ones out of fear of rejection. And feed that fear at the same time by imagining they will eventually see through their fake facade.

Be confrontional and confident in stressful situations, but then ask for reassurement that they didn't overdo it.

Argue with someone all the time. But when something serious happens, they are the first one to shield that person with their own body.

hey authors :D so this post applies to EVERYONE, but especially those of y’all with anxiety or OCD

if you are writing something that has a stereotypical trope?? that’s perfectly okay. even if it’s a trope that you see a lot of people on the internet whining about.

it’s okay. it’s okay if you have a love triangle, or a miscommunication incident, or.. well i’m having a hard time thinking of more examples of tropes, it’s a little bit late and it’s been a long day, but i just want y’all to know that it is YOUR story. YOUR writing.

why tf would you want to spend all your time writing something you don’t even like??? if you want to write about something but most people think that it’s ‘cringe’ or ‘cliche’, you should still absolutely go for it!!!

because after all, your stories are for YOU. maybe other people can read them too, if you’re posting or publishing them, but at the end of the day they’re ultimately for you.

you CANNOT make everyone happy. so PLEASE do not cut out things that make you happy just so you can try to make your writing more palatable to snobs on the internet who don’t realize that they can just choose not to read things that they don’t personally enjoy.

Louis scoffs. Technically, it is possible. Louis’ known he was a male carrier since his routine physical when he was sixteen. But it isn’t actually possible, not really. He and Harry always use a condom.

Except for that one day a few weeks ago when Louis had forgotten to buy more and they couldn’t wait. And the time the week before that when the condom had broke, but they both figured it was probably fine.

Louis narrows his eyes. “Banish me, really? Very mature Harry.”
