a few questions for people who think camila is to blame for showmila:  1) why did it take her 9 months to agree to do señorita?  2) why does she look miserable in many of the stunt pics?  3) why does she usually warn fans before showmila stunts?  4) before showmila began, she kept talking about how bad her anxiety was about something coming up, and she told us there was a storm coming and that things were a shitshow. doesn’t this show she didn’t want to do it?  5) why would camila want to ruin her own image? labels have a motive. camila herself would not. if it was only her doing, once she started getting all of this hate, she would’ve ended it a long time ago. it’s been over a year

Why do you believe it’s real? Because they tell you?// Yes because as a fan, I have faith that she's doing what's best for her. It's not about keeping Camila straight, it's about supporting her choices. If she says she's straight and in a happy relationship, then I'm going to support her. If she came out as bi tomorrow, I would still support. And if I ever think that Camila's in a situation and she can't speak up, I'm going to be sympathetic. I'm not going to add to the people making fun of it.

We don’t work with faith here, madam. We work with facts. Camila has a narrative to follow, just like every public person in the world. It’s like expecting an executive to roast the company he’s working for during a TV interview. Or like expecting a company to tell you that their new product sucks or that it actually doesn’t fulfill a need. Everyone has a narrative and they’re trying to sell it to you. It is up to you if you follow or not, but make it a conscious choice, not based in your faith. 

Adding on, Camila has talked about girls a lot of times in her songs. It is you who chose to avoid it:

“I love it when you call me, señorita”

“Honey said she want somebody break her off proper”

“She loves control, she wants it her way”

“When she drop, it bounce back like a yo-yo”

Let’s not forget all those little “coincidences” between Camila and Lauren:

Consequences mentions expectations and trust issues, both of which are titles from Lauren’s songs

Make You Mad makes a reference to Never Be The Same’s bridge and also mentions Inside Out, which is the name of one song from Camila. All these songs were written and made public in 2017 (Inside Out was officially released in 2018, but Camila had already performed it live)

Lonely Night mentions I Have Questions by the title. Both were written in 2017.

Camila wrote She Loves Control after Lauren sang “she doesn’t let me have control anymore” in Strangers, a collab released in 2017. Camila even tweeted about it.

Lauren first performed Burning in 2019, in which she asks the girl on the song to light her fire. Camila’s Liar, released on 2019, has her starting up someone’s fire. 

What are the odds of all of this being a coincidence when Lauren and Camila at least used to be close to one another? How can your faith and any narrative explain this?

About your sympathy, you can share that with Camila instead whenever she’s attacked for being a Latina woman or for just breathing, y’know. About Showmila, blame it on their teams who are unable to see that a strategy is not working. If people are tired of something, some of them will complain, some of them will just disappear. Blessed those who complain because that will give your team a hint that your communication is off.

On May 21, 2019, Camila is seen in Los Angeles going to the gym. A big smile on her lips (Or not)

Why make her do sports regularly when her tour is not yet announced because her album has not yet been released. SUSPICIOUS.
