i love how there's the genre of fix-it fic where the author goes into great granular detail of how our heroes manage to avoid or undo whatever character death or other unpopular choice occurred, in a way that abides by the laws of the fictional universe and definitely required a substantial plot outline, and then there are fix-it fics where the author just went "that's bullshit and didn't happen," and we as readers all go "agreed. carry on."

I hate the idea that Jason as Robin was reckless, but I love the idea of Red Hood being a little bit reckless. Like, not in the sense that he would ever compromise his mission or make a mistake on accident or purpose, but in the sense that he isn’t afraid of death no more and kind of looks down on anyone who has already died once but still fears it. Like, say Ra’s.

I can’t stop staring at Nico Parka as Astrid. The costume looks so good, I’m a sucker for Fantasy / Historic costuming. Like put some Games of Thrones soundtrack behind her whenever she walks into scene.

I adore How To Train Your Dragon and I am excited for the live action movie.

Is it going to match the magic and wonder of the animated series? Probably not

Am I going to watch it and adore every second anyway? Yes

I know that there is already so much negativity surrounding a movie that's not even out yet and it's awful, I know that live actions have a history of failing us but I refuse to judge this movie until I've seen it. Especially if it brings the magic that the animated films brought me to a new generation of kids!
