I was wondering if you keep multiple male rats together. I want more than one, but the pet store told me they would get too territorial. Thoughts?
I have two female rats! If you get two male rats who are from the same place, and from a young age, they should be able to live together fairly peacefully. However if you get two rats who haven’t met before or have never lived together(or two older rats) there’s a much bigger chance that they won’t get along.Male MICE in particular do tend to get aggressive, but I’m pretty certain male rats do need partners too.ALTHOUGH, I only have female rats so I’m not too qualified to answer 😓 so if anyone has experience with male rats, please let me know!
