When God says no, it can be heartbreaking, suffocating and something that will cause you to examine your entire life. But it is also for a greater good, a good that has not been seen by our eyes, a good that has not been touched by our hands, a good that will ultimately bring glory to Christ and a good that will ultimately bring about restoration to ourselves. For now, it’s okay to mourn and cry out; Christ understands the pain of rejection more than anyone in all of existence.

i recently got out of a relationship with my ex of almost 2 yrs, i decided after a teen conference, that this relationship wasnt from God. It was on my mind for an incredibly long time and i thought i could make it work. It didnt. Basically, it was a tough descision, but honestly if youre in the same situation, i suggest ending it, it brought me so much closer to God, and left more time for me to focus on my relationship with Him, which is worth much more. take the step of faith & trust Him!

Sometimes God’s grace overwhelms me that I’m completely crippled by it; as I ponder on the wrong I just did, that He quickly forgave as if it never happened. When in that moment I was justifying why the wrong is right.

I'm only 19 but I don't have an interest in getting married. When I think about my future, I don't really care if I have a husband and kids; I believe what will be important to me, besides God, is my job. But right now I can't help but wonder what I'm missing out on. I've never had a bf and never been kissed. I have this "questioning" feeling even though I'm not sure what my question is
Hey Love,
I am 19 too, never had a bf, and never been kissed. And there’s nothing you are missing out on.
I used to have that “questioning” feeling, when I used to be tempted to look more of what society seemed ‘normal’ and ‘acceptable’ on the matters of relationships more than what God said is normal and acceptable. When you follow Christ with a reckless abandon, not caring who is watching and what it may cost, that is living normally. Doing what He says, like loving on others, not having other gods before Him, and doing life, like having fun with your girls or guy friends is what is acceptable. The desire to not be with someone is not in you at the moment and that is normal and acceptable. As followers of Christ, He places desires, wants, longings, and orders our steps. The season you are in is where He wants you in. And wants you to thrive in.
I’m in that season too.
God is in each season we’re in, He authors our lives as we surrender it to Him daily, nothing is out of the sorts. Therefore believe when He says you’re in His hands. When you’re in His hands, you’re not missing out on anything, nor is the season you’re in wrong or make you ‘weird’. It’s perfectly normal and acceptable since God says so, He says so, by Him being in the midst of everything in your life

I asked God “why do you still love me, why after all the things I’ve done you still want my heart?” He answered me “I made you for me. And as long as you let me, I will save you from yourself.”
