The following is going to be fairly lengthy. It will consist of giant/tiny macro/micro content, specifically involving headcanons derived from how Lucifer can canonically alter his size as well as that of others, which weirdly seems to be barely touched on by the fandom. There will be nsfw, but that will be towards the end and labeled should you want to skip that. Warnings for that section: 18+, Some instances that might count as maw play but at minimum are extreme size difference oral, micro stimulating macro privates with licking, hands, and whole body, macro fingering micro, micro covered in cum. Some none size related notes: going to keep the reader gender neutral. This piece will briefly mention the *apparently* canon info of Lucifer wearing gloves.

Trust me, I don’t like it either, I just sometimes get weirdly insistent about maintaining canon elements. Finally, an again brief mention of my personal headcanon that due to him already having some snake qualities at his most humanoid, rather than having skin or fur Lucifer is covered in very fine snake scales. If none or some of the mentioned content does not appeal to you, more than understandable. Feel free to give this a pass completely, or ignore whatever individual elements don’t appeal to you.

So, who’s ready for sizeshifting headcanons with Lucifer?!

Smol: While there are occasions where he’ll use it for entertainment, it’s rare he would want to put himself in that position, not out of concern for his safety, but because he feels very vulnerable. Doing this alone with you is a sign of trust, though it often is tied to him being in a state of stress wanting comfort. He’s always been close to your heart, now you can make this far more literal by either gently pressing him to it, setting him in a pocket right next to it, or laying back and letting him rest on top of it. The warmth, affection, and natural rhythms of your heart and breath do wonders for him. Don’t be surprised if he dozes off, if anything it’s a testament to how safe and cared for he feels. If he’s in a decent mood, he wouldn’t say no to a bit of pampering. Head pats, gentle finger stroking from his head to his back, gentle massage, chin scritches, kisses, and cuddles are highly encouraged. And really, how can you say no to that sweet little face?

Big Boss: much like on the opposite end, outside of a bit of theatrical flourish he rarely uses this, though in this case it’s from not wanting to be perceived as insecure. Generally more likely to shrink you than grow himself, but isn’t completely opposed to it. Regarding the former, he’ll be struck with inspiration, using his skills in toy making to craft little cups and furniture. He always ensures the environment you’re in is safe, usually with plenty of soft furniture and pillows. Regarding the latter, he always makes sure you’re in an environment that has plenty of space and do his utmost to avoid any collateral damage. When he’s gotten more comfortable with doing this around you, expect more than a few instances of doing the “I love you thiiiis much” arm stretch bit, but growing at the same time to be somewhat cheeky but mostly genuine in expressing how much he adores you. (Honestly this just strikes me as cute for size shifters in general). In either cases, it will take him a while before he feels comfortable with physical interaction, out of worry he’ll accidentally hurt you. When that milestone is passed, rare will be the moments you aren’t either safe in his hands (he’ll even occasionally remove his gloves to enjoy the closeness), snug in a pocket (he conjures one directly over his heart, regardless of what he’s wearing), sitting or laying on his lap, or laying atop his chest. The types of affection you showed him when the shoe was on the other foot is given back in spades, complete with plenty of tender words, regardless of if it’s for comfort or romance. Kisses can be a bit overwhelming, but in the best kind of way, especially when he peppers you with them all over. You can still give plenty of affection in this position though, nuzzling into his chest or cheek, peppering his lips, cheeks neck, and chest with plenty of kisses (don’t worry, he’ll feel every single one), even scratching under his chin again, though this time with more effort required. It’s interesting feeling him like this. His scales are still soft and smooth, but when like this you feel them individually more easily. There may be some light hearted teasing about you being the small one for once. There’s a part of him that enjoys how much love he can show you while like this. He can get overly protective and doting like this, address as necessary (for a related wholesome note that deviates from the reader, I can’t help but think if he ever tried being giant as a means to protect Charlie/get her to safety, his paternal instincts would kick in and he’d start absentmindedly cradling her, only to stop and apologize profusely when she addresses it. Alternately, they both use it as a moment to quietly bond in a way that almost feels like making up for lost time). When he’s confident enough, it’s not uncommon for him to mess with Alastor like this.

Smol: you have a very enthusiastic living toy on your hands. Hand, tongue, whole body, you will feel everything as he pleases you with little difficulty. Does anyone else feel like Lucifer is more akin to a fae than an Angel or Devil? Think about it: playful, petty, loves mischief but isn’t inherently evil, fixates on the oddest things, disproportionate responses. May have a bias given how much I’ve been diving into fae stuff for the past few years while trying to build on my own persona (… who I’m planning to display in some crude facsimile of a character sheet fairly soon, shameless plug😅). Ironically, is is said that sometimes the devil left behind changelings, and among the disabilities and atypical traits those believed to be changelings had is autism.

This is something that recently came to mind, very much headcanon speculation, but wanted to get it out there: What if Lucifer was intentionally made differently from the other angels because his true purpose was to bring joy? If the story in episode one is at least mostly true, and Sera’s personality has had little to no change since then, all the other angels were absolute stiffs that could basically be quantified as a composite of workaholics and “for the greater good”. Maybe Lucifer was meant to be a breath of fresh air for them, show them life could have more happiness than just the satisfaction of goal fulfillment. Heck, he has elements of porcelain dolls in his design, what better way to bring bliss than a living toy that wants to play and be creative. Sadly, this went over as well as when you try this kind of connection with someone who thinks being an adult means abandoning anything that could be viewed as “childish”. I firmly believe that Lulu is the type who feels like a kid in an adult body. He definitely still has some adult insights and wants, but really, I think second only to how deeply values his wife and daughter, more than anything he just wants someone he can play with, just forget about the tensions of his position for a while. On a related note subject, did he and the other original angels just get formed into existence as adults?? If so, it means he just a big, possibly neurodivergent kid that never had a childhood to begin with. That just makes him even more sad. Charlie isn’t just his daughter, she’s likely the first playmate he ever had, depending on how playful Lilith was anyway, probably hasn’t had one since.
