Made this for a small tribute on @durch-hali Halloween Comic years and years ago that I was very inspired nowadays to create art and here it is! I still love the Vampire Miong and the repetitive Roman Slave Pole in there (because bro so knowledgeable yet cheap af!! FUHAAHAHAH.) So I had an idea why not bring back some past reminisces and memories? Gosh I miss the Golden Era of Henluna/Goyo Fandom!

Thanks to Heneral Luna that history became clearer to all of us. I thought those names we memorized during elementary were all part of Katips. In Heneral Luna, Katipunan was already dying, Bonifacio assassinated, Jose Rizal deds, yet we see a movement that was detached from the groups they formed and fighting a different enemy. They are the Revolutionary government that survived from Malolos constitution.

The thing is, the last decade of the 1800s was crazy. Reading history from different perspectives was even crazier. The sure way for you to understand it is to read Ambeth Ocampo or one of the many biographies of Apolinario Mabini (I only read two, so bare with me). Why?

Well, there were actually 3 major movements during the revolution, and they were separate! They are affected by one another but that is for another post, the thing is, they have different leaders, styles, and objectives! Jose Rizal led La Liga and seeked reform. Andres Bonifacio led Katipunan and wanted to physically defeat the colonizers. The Revolutionary Government wants to be the governing body by any means, aggressive or submissive, whichever is possible.

And there is ONE man that connects them all. Yes, you're right. APOLINARIO MABINI. He was a reformist from La Liga who clearly opposed Bonifacio's ideals. Yet! He was arrested with grounds of being part of the Katipunan, though he was not. He was probably face-palming so hard in prison. Later on he was offered an important seat in the government.

Bro was everywhere. And being single at that, bet he was a favorite topic of the cabinet's merienda. Little did they know, Pule was married to his country. Of course it was normal for him to be TOO involved. He even surrendered in Guam saying he wishes to be in his country in his final days instead.

Miong is going crazy, New body dropped (murdered) that connects with Pole. Those who he knew that very close to him. Miong becoming the monster he truly were just to get Pole in his side.

Specifically Miong slowly losing the clear vision he wanted to be. Independence and freedom like Pole wanted for the country. But ever since he developed this kind of obsession to his own Prime Minister. He's acting differently.

Might be him being psychotic af. Pole is suspicious to his actions. More concerning was, Alejandrino is getting death threats from unknown recipient. And Pole had been keeping tabs on Alejandrino's for his safety.

Unfortunately, he found out that Miong and Jose will have a night meeting to his house. A small party they said. But it was an orchestrated murder for Jose. (Sorry for this but crazy/insane Aguinaldo and removing his moral compass to become like a monster he is. Is so akfjkdnfkfk)

Maybe a Murder in the Mansion type will be involved. Aknfkdnff
