Webs.com Archival!

From 2010 to 2021 many shifter resources and therian/kin cyberpacks were hosted on the Webs.com free site builder. I'm sure many of you remember those times, but if you don't, it's where many cyberpacks were hosted, with the largest developing a reputation for being toxic, drama-filled or culty. There were smaller, healthier sites hosted on the builder too, but it's infamous for the toxicity of the larger packs.

On August 31st, all webs sites are going to be taken down. This will destroy any shifter sites abandoned on the platform, as well as eliminate a large portion of recent online shifter, therian and otherkin history. I think it's imperative that we save as much information as we can from them, before they're lost for good.

You can use a site archiver like Wayback Machine or archive.is to save any pages that you'd like. Bookmark them for later or submit them to a community archival project if you know one. Try to archive only public and/or community-relevant information; private information should be left alone.

If you know a webs.com site that could use archiving, now is the time to do so. Good luck!

Just got an email about webs.com closing down. That was a good website hosting site, I had about 4 silly little websites on there, I can't move them anywhere because there is no longer a free hosting site that allows you to upload your own html and css, it's all template-based now.

I'm so sad, we're losing all of our rich and individually-created content! All that was done in the 90s and that made internet weird and interesting. All of the cringy stuff that used to make us happy, or made us feel like we're special. RIP Webs. I will miss you.

It’s funny, but I don’t think Toei expected how… controversial tri.’s treatment of the 02 kids ended up being, because I feel like they are hyping up their presence in Last Evolution a lot for what I’m going to assume is a rather small fraction of actual screentime.

Like ever since they revealed the 02 kids’ character designs, I feel like they’ve been at the forefront of a lot of Kizuna’s marketing. At least compared to the other non-Tai or Matt 01 kids. And the first full length, non-commercialized clip of Kizuna was of the reunion of the 02 kids.

I mean, when you consider how the first few bits of information we had on Kizuna had nothing on Davis, Cody, Yolei and Ken, and then look at all the current preview pics and what not that are always making sure to slap Davis’s picture alongside Tai and Matt’s, or talk about Davis’s digiphone design alongside Tai’s… I just can’t help but wonder if some of this was because of the backlash from tri.’s treatment.

I could be crazy, and who knows- maybe the 02 Digidestined have a really big role to play in Kizuna, even moreso than the rest of 01 Digidestined. I just find it kind of funny that now they’re getting respect from Toei after everything that happened before.

Instead of a feature-length movie upon it’s animation, this will also broken down into bunch of different episodes

the exploration of the limitations of Takeru’s powers(Teleportation, Time manipulation(can manifests as speedster powersets), intangibility, and probability manipulation as well density manipulation) can be moment where we touched upon both Beast Boy and Lisa Simpson’s vegetarian diets, especially when we brought up Takeru’s required secondary powers

there's story about Extreme Ghostbusters' journey from the day they join ACME Corp out of their loss to the day they're convinced to quit ACME Corp by former Reaper Game's players(this story was for fitting Slenderman(as something that came out from malfunctioning VR game machine), Saras 008(as title character's ash reanimated by Extradimensional alien), and so on)

working on story about Dorumon and Patamon X adventures in Traverse town,  fight their way through Traverse Town criminal underworld, took shelter on a Dojo run by DATS agents(that's in Traverse town to fight for Digimon rights), join some Criminal gangs of Traverse Town(notably one that consists Digimon-possessed Cyborgs and Robots) whatever they can't fight them, and so on

working on the Story about Scrappy Doo and Scooby Dum’s adventures in Pokemon world without humans(to fit much of Xenomorphs(where they can use Pokemon attacks) and many Yautjas there)

For the Sequel

I'll plan on making Sora, Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy (Kingdom Hearts); Ash, Misty, Tracey, and Melody (Pokemon anime); Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Raven (2000s Teen Titans cartoon); Taichi, Yamato, Sora, Mimi, Koshiro, Joe, Takeru, and Hikari (Digimon); Recca, Domon, Fuko, Mikagami, and Koganei (Flame of Recca); and Isami, Toshi, and Soshi (Isami Shinsengumi) crossover adventures as Overwatch members (possible) canon of the sequel
