Comic-2 The Pride of Baghdad

Opening each and every comic sir gave me out of which “The Pride Of Baghdad” impressed me because of its graphics or illustrations, the color especially bright golden yellowish, I also noticed that the whole comic travels in time period  from dusk to dawn, so it had to be in that color I realized. The details were also a reason that made me decide that I will begin reading this comic.

While reading the comic, initially I was confused on looking at the text and images, to understand what really is happening. After a while I slowly started getting the effect, when both image and text combines all I could notice was that I was getting deeper into the comic and eventually it all started to feel as though I was watching a movie.

The Pride of Baghdad is a comic which has a sad ending; it takes you on journey with lions, a totally new experience of the wild although these lions were living in a zoo. The Pride of Baghdad illustrates human violence and the effect on the innocent animals in an amazing style.

Comic -1 Moby Dick

This is another comic I read which also concentrates on the violence done against animals. In this one it’s a whale called Moby Dick hence the title. When I first checked out the comics of Will Eisner, it all looked like a scribbling and hard to understand and quite boring by reading the first few pages so I decided to find a colored print and I found it, Moby Dick a thriller to be precise when it comes to the way it is illustrated.  Almost everything is covered in the sea with ships, boat, whales, sailors and a captain.

   The story begins with a young man who is new to town and wanting to work as a seafarer, he is the one who narrates the whole story almost based on his aspect of the event occurred. The story is thrilling and funny too. Basically it’s a story of revenge, which is showcased in a brilliant manner, giving the reader a sailing and hunting experience. The language or the slang is different. The sketching or graphics were good. But reading the whole comic made me realize that humans will go to any extent, in this case it is shocking to see such cruelty.

How to install cbr reader?

It is the easiest task anybody can accomplish within minutes if you have Internet, first you open Google search engine and type “CBR reader” and you will get a link cbrreader.com, click on this link and the official cbr reader page will open. Now you will be able to find another underlined statement saying “Download Cbr reader” click on this and it will automatically direct you to another page called softsea.com, no worries. Now this will automatically download within seconds if it does not and takes you to another page exit the page. Once you have downloaded the setup, now open it buy double clicking the file. And follow the instructions given on the file and within seconds you will have it installed.

Once installed open the cbr reader by double clicking the icon and when it opens click ‘file’ which is on the left corner and select ‘open’ and you can select your desired comic by double clicking it and it will be opened on your cbr window. The arrow keys are used as navigation and the left and right arrow are used as zoom in and out. For full screen press f11.

Embarrassing Pic

The most embarrassing picture of me was clicked when I was in primary school where I was forced to dance, ok I was not that worried when this happened, dancing let’s do this. The teacher started making me do weird moves, I thought it was fun and I really enjoyed it. On the rehearsal day we had to wear our costumes and dance suddenly the made me wear a frock and a shining yellow t shirt kind of dress and I was sad and I could say anything and the worse is the artificial hair they made me wear. I was depressed and the same process happened on the final show where my dad and mom started taking pictures of me wearing lipstick and makeup.

Everything was cool until few months back I was showing some old pics to my friend and suddenly this popped up and I one my friend grabbed it and ran away. I so badly want that picture from him.

This picture was taken during class. What I found interesting was the two sides, two of them are serious and the other two are bored or sleepy by the lecturer. In this pic I also think that the two guys are seriously sitting and trying to understand, but are they actually listening to the class or dreaming. They might be in a totally different world thinking nothing and the other two are depressed, I think that the guy at the left is blabbering too much and the guy next to him is fed up of the two way torture from the class as well as this friend.

When I took this pic I didn’t think any of these aspects but I simply clicked because of the light from the window behind them and also the benches made me curious of how it would look through my dabba camera phone, my camera is of very low quality so I didn’t want to click it  in color. Through this assignment I was able to analyze these many stuffs.

Being anonymous

Does it really matter? Because is e I haven't felt anything different about surfing through the internet until I watched the documentary. Being anonymous is this good after all the chaos happening in this world. You might wonder each and every time when you open Google you will think twice Wat to do is this safe should I watch this/search this . I feel its the freedom of every human to do what he wants but if he crosses his limits has to to pay his price as simple as that. The other world or the terrifying part has something crazy on their heads only to destroy. Under these circumstances we have no option to keep these people under security. So may be it is safe to keep track of people to know Wat they are upto. Instead of wasting lives. One will be aware and will have clarity in eat they do and will maintain certain limits. Even if someone has a intention to misuse this freedom,he/she will think twice

Leaks wiki leaks

Wen I had first heard about wiki leaks I was surprised to know that someone is actually bringing out the truth to the world. Wiki leaks is working really hard to release the secrets that has been hidden for years. When I visited the wikileaks official page was watching all kinds of news which I had never hear before. It was all in blue and black was very difficult to figure out the information. So I don't have much idea about this webpage because I have any only visited a few times

Being anonymously

Is being anonymous the only solution to surf with freedom. Let's be realistic here, we live in a world where everything comes to us in our finger tips , we have googled all our live have we felt being followed at least I haven't. May be it is good to be. Followed because many of us have other intentions through web so it is secure for the society to be followed. But isn't it destroying our freedom to be out selves. It is the only place e where we loose our selves and find our path . so it is good to be in security so no gets offended or hurt. I will never opt to be followed by an organization to decide Wat I am so I will fight for my freedom. Till I watched the documentary I haven't realized that we are being under surveillance. So after being bombarded with these incidents I have come to an understanding that we have our freedom until we use it in a right way but if we cross our limits we have to face the consequences.

Isreal vs palestanian

What I think about the huge confusion between these two heads is that they are illiterates and don't know to handle the situation in formal manner because these two battalions are up for anything and they will go to any extent to prove that they r right and their side is fighting for justice . This is a serious issue and the lives losing is countless its all about the poor innocent souls that is dying for no reason may a reason in their part who knows. I'm not here to justify the truth or whose right or wrong the only thing that matters is the blood that is pouring. It doesn't matter who is right we should have a clear understanding on the situation and try to figure out a solution instead of throwing death. So my realization us that it doesn't matter who's fault it is , god has taught us only to love and fear but we humans have upgraded it into violence . I have not gone through the war that's happened ng but I know that the Hans are insane and have no idea about god and his teaching's Wat he has to say ,Wat is his will ,Wat would he do? If these people had followed his words and willl none of this would have happened. live those who hurt you and love will come to you.

NEWSPAPER-3

For this week’s assignment I choose the BANGALORE MIRROR because my dad buys the TOI and BANGALORE MIRROR together as the shop keeper, as usual has no change.  It’s a paper which mostly covers the Bangalore city news, interesting yet weird, entertainment news and many more. The most important news to the silliest can be observed in this newspaper, some information’s are totally boring and useless. Some of the key factors the BM has are about the size; I personally think all newspapers must follow this as it very comfortable to read. Another advantage is about the format it has where the sports page is not at the end as other papers its right in the middle and the entertainment news is at the end of the paper as in other papers it is provided in supplements. I read this paper in the following format: I first read the headlines in the first page, if it grabs my attention then I continue reading the content otherwise I skip to the last page and start reading backward to check the entertainment news, gossips. There is a page called chai time where all the comics and word puzzles are present.

The Bangalore Mirror follows a unique format. It has the main page that is the first page which consists  news only about the city and there are small tiles of the content, the next four to five pages are also about the city, it covers almost everything parties, politics, facts, but mostly about discrimination and the effect on the environment. Then there is teen spirit which helps in self-improvement and the next two pages consists of the nation and world news, it has fewer details when compared to other newspapers. Then comes the sci-tech, editorial, The next few pages are dedicated to the sports in which these days mostly concentrate on FIFA and then there are” You, variety, Film, Unwind, You Connect, Listings, Chai time and Work”.

  The reason why I like reading the news from the last page is because of the interesting columns the BM provides like the Work page offers successful people and tries to give inspiration and motivation to the younger generation, and then the film news which delivers gossips, latest updates, reviews is also very exciting to read. The YOU page gives facts and health tips for one’s enhancement. The BM mirror gives stories or news in a sequence or serial based, I try reading a particular column but then I have to wait till the next day to know the climax.

 One of the fascinating news was about the Auto Raid which was conducted in the city, the city police really worked hard to catch hold of these guys who thinks they are the kings of the road, more than 3000 auto drivers were fined for different reasons, this surely will be a lesson for the kings, I was pleased to see this action surprisingly from the B’lore traffic. The FIFA news is one which I felt there was less information when compared, huge images less information and there was less importance given to other sport. Getting motivated is the most difficult things to accomplish, so I read the work page which tells the biography of different entrepreneurs and the honored citizens of the city or country.

Bangalore Mirror is a newspaper I can read even if I am not a regular newspaper reader it also provides lots of information than actual news which is eye grabbing and most of the information were short yet interesting. These were the stuffs that I found interesting about the BM.

NEWSPAPER-2

For this week’s assignment I asked my dad to buy a dissimilar newspaper and he simply bought the DECCAN CHRONICLE, he said that, it was the only paper left in the shop. My father is a retired accountant and he spends his leisure time or most of his time reading newspapers, first Malayalam and then the English papers so he didn’t t have any problem buying. The only paper left in the shop? I doubted whether it was an underprivileged newspaper.

While comparing DC with TOI the first thing I noticed was the size, DC was easier to handle. First I thought it was the content but then the width of the paper was longer than DC and as you all know the ads, TOI has ads right from the first page, before the main page, after the main page and in the main page, the size starts from a full page to 4 by 4cm tiny squares which is found in the corners of the paper. But the scenes were totally different in the DECCAN CHRONICLE.

I felt that the DC didn’t give much importance on ads; as I went through the paper it looked like a very decent newspaper. While reading the TOI I felt that I was bombarded with news and ads. The DC was like watching an award film whereas the TOI was like a commercial film. I think that the TOI gives its best to attract the young crowd and the old ones who likes a little bit of action.

TOI has a unique way of editing; they put all the serious stuffs as well as the silliest stuff adjacent to each other like “kid throws stones, costs teen sight”, “teen commit suicide” and right next to it were the film reviews or upcoming movies etc. The DC is strict in these matters it has related information in each and every column. The first page is like a sequence of teasers of the inside matter. The city column has two pages, the first page consists of the political issues and the second page concentrates on the pollution and scarcity of the city. Then there’s politics, nation, edit, op-ed, business, international and sports. The supplements were Teen, School and Bengaluru chronicle, which has least information on entertainment it gives more preference on fashion but I find Bangalore times attention-grabbing. There is no section like times trends that gives awesome facts and unique articles which makes my reading experience better. The DC has a section where many books, music, arts etc. are stated in which reviews are mentioned and the editorials were good.

I would go for the TOI as it has a variety of information and unpredicted format, the graphics must be appreciated, personally I can read different sorts of news in a single object. The DC maintains its class and another interesting factor about the DC was the short news that is displayed as  series on the left side of each and every paper.

Newspaper - ONLINE

Online newspaper works better than the paper edition; I agree on this because of advantages in online newspapers and the amazing benefits we get when compared to ones you buy.

Reading newspaper online gives the readers a wide range of information on different subjects, not only based on the city you live but throughout the globe. It is user friendly and interactive. The link that is provided in on news, plays an important role which helps the reader to refer on various aspects, this makes it more interesting and gives the reader more information on the particular subject and even commenting on a particular issue is available. Another feature of online newspaper is the audio visual treat that shows the importance, proof and also the authenticity of the news, which is more reliable than reading or trying to get news through any other medium. Online newspapers gets updated every minute, something happens its online, no need to wait for the newspaper to arrive at home and then read it. 

 FIFA a major sport event that has started makes the newspaper in demand but there is no use in reading FIFA updates in the newspaper because of the delay of the result or the review of the match; even the silliest and weirdest news’s are covered online. The graphics and pictures in online newspaper bring out the standard and the quality which gives the readers an addictive experience.

The Times of India is usually brought in my house. I do not read the newspaper regularly even though my dad buys it every day, so I asked my father why this newspaper he said that it weighs more than other newspapers but then I told it was for my assignment then he said that it has many ads, offers and it has covered all the election news.

The Times of India has a regular supplement that is the Bangalore Times and provides different supplements each day. The main paper contains more ads than news, the first page itself was an ad then comes the Times City, Nation, Ideas, Trends, Global, Business and Sports pages or sections. I noticed there were ads on each and every page in the newspaper.

I do not read the newspaper every day only when I see it I just give a glance, I simply ignore the main paper and read only the supplement that is the Bangalore Times but for the assignment I had to read main paper too. I spend 5-10min reading the paper. The Bangalore Times is what interests me so I spend more time reading it because it covers all the entertainment news worldwide and keeps me updated on the upcoming movies, actors, directors and reviews.

The format in which I read the paper is as follows, first finish reading the supplement and then read the main paper; I read the first page, go to the last page then read it backwards. I only read the headlines and simply skip politics. I also like reading comics.

The Times of India was sold out so I bought Deccan Chronicle as it was the only paper left in the shop. This paper was totally different when compared to Times; it had very few ads and was interesting to read it, not only the headings. I liked reading the book section, the paper also helps you get updated on style, movies, books, movies, music etc. what surprised me was that the first and the last page only had ads. The paper had two supplements one them only concentrated on FIFA and the other was Bangalore chronicle which contained entertainment. What I felt interesting was the supplement that was about FIFA which gives detail information on the players and latest updates, even the smallest thing were covered and by this even a person who is not familiar can easily understand and would find it interesting. The one thing which I felt boring was that the main paper had too much of political news.

While reading the newspaper: two of the incidents that took place In Bangalore, one was about a doctor who worked in Colombia Asia hospital for 5 years the twist in this is that he wasn’t really a doctor he was a fraud and cheating one of the most reputed hospital was another shock cheating them is not easy hats off to “The man who played doctor doctor”. These are the stories I would like to read I understood, scandals has become one of the topics that I would search for in the paper, it makes me aware of the things that I would easily fall into.                                                                                                                                            The other news was about a rapist who had about ten cases and was free for 4-years till now; the police had traced him by his vehicle he parked outside a house he was going to attack. The animal’s guts are something. The way he had attacked the houses and the techniques he followed to reach the victim was impossible for an SSLC dropout to do an act like this. After reading such news’s made me think how safe it was to live in Bangalore, informed my siblings. I wanted to read something else other than scandal and sex. Quickly moving on to the sports column wanted to get updated about FIFA, this was about Brazil, the troubles faced by the locals while the teams were enjoying. after so much of negativity by reading the newspaper reminded me why I don’t go through the newspaper.

 Giving a glance, nothing quite interesting or informative, skipping the first few pages which is all about Modi and politics making me want to throw the paper but soon reached The Times Trends, notice an image of the legend Marilyn Monroe, out of all the other stuff. Started reading and turned out to be one of the weirdest news, it was regarding people who are buying land next to the famous celebrities where they are buried, spending millions of dollars. And many other weird but good information can be read from the Times Trends I realized. Today I didn’t feel like reading the supplement first which I usually do rather read the main page after getting to know the kick of newspaper now I had realized why my dad spends so much time reading both in English and Malayalam. Moving on to the Sports column found Messi vomiting on the field surprised me a class player but didn’t feel like reading it. Now I was done with the main paper so I picked up the supplement, as it was a week day it only had few of pages, going through it i noticed the column that gave a detailed description on Indian biryani’s titled Biryani, Biriyani or Briyani. Images of the types of biryanis of different states made me hungry so I decided to stop and have my dinner.

Tried reading political news but was not able to, quickly skipped to Times Trends enjoyed some columns and then got back to NaMo’s news but couldn’t finish the second line even after motivating myself, then moving on to Times City there was a small column written about a short film which was selected for Cannes and then came Times Business where I noticed many graphs and charts all about stocks and shares didn’t understand anything, moving on to the sports, I should say FIFA news instead, this is what that makes the newspaper survive I felt. One of the things I noticed was that the newspapers sometimes try to drag the same news for several days. Today I changed my format of reading the paper without my knowledge I started right from the beginning to the end and read all the headings but didn’t read it in detail only things that interested me, I gave a glance. The supplements on the weekdays are boring nothing much informative except the movie timings but during weekends it’s totally different and better. The quality of the newspaper and the graphics are good when compared to other papers that I have read.

It’s all about FIFA right from the main page to the supplements; times have managed to cover all of the fun right from the scratch to the kick off. Celebrations, players, stadiums, matches, positions and all the information you can get. The first page mainly concentrated on Messi and Neymar the legend and the upcoming legend. I liked the way the Times handled one of the biggest news that can ever happen beautifully put together. I was only reading the news regarding FIFA and didn’t bother reading anything else but then managed to read the times trends and also read the supplement where someone who is never expected in this genre was found it was Modi. After reading newspapers for 5 days, for the first time in my life, made me realize that I was dumber than I thought. The one thing that I can’t accomplish is reading about politics, must try to improve. Times Trends, City and Business have become one of my specials; I will try not to miss these in the future.

Infosys’s new CEO was the main highlighted news for the day. The man’s biography was interesting to read and somewhat understood about Infosys. Times Business was one of the columns that I wouldn’t consider reading but now started to know about the importance. As usual read the Trends, Sports and City. Then read the supplements, Bangalore Times for some entertainment news and then read some of the crime scenes and scandals but still was not able to get into politics.

  In my reading experience what worried me were about the crime especially the rapes that occur almost every day and the injustice done to women. One of the ministers was suspected in today’s news.  The other was about the sports section which I’m not sure of is about FIFA , nobody talked about the referee who is one of the most important person in the game in fact I didn’t find any news regarding them. Well learnt lots of things in one week will continue reading.

STAR STUDY

This assignment took me many days to decide on the actor because the one I thought was not worth writing, I kept on thinking on various actors I have been watching these years , nobody but thinking for a long time many Hollywood actors started coming in mind, may be him yes or no not him that guy ok but then again there was somebody else. Then thinking trying really hard,  watching some whom I wanted to be my type if man a trend setter every time he appears on the screen I should be excited and have a smile in my face, by going on this track. Suddenly I  found someone whom I had forgot for many months or  years. This is the actor yes or is there someone better, then I figured out nobody could replace him because I sometimes want to be him and I imitate this actor often so yes he is the right pick.

    This actor I didn’t know him and haven’t seen any of his hits, he has never amazed me and after his many hits people started talking about him but it didn’t matter to me because back then all I cared about was all time commercial actor. My friend kept talking about a film that has been released in theatres of this actor so me and my friend decided to go check out what the whole buzz was all about balcony seats. First time watching his movie in a theatre whom I have never admired in TV, the actor who I have ignored every time he appeared.

  The movie started, first scene boring then a song begins may be because of the song I stared liking him, then slowly started noticing his expressions, acting, appearance, smile and when the movie was over I wanted to get in the next show again for the same movie then I started seeing more of his movies on TV this time with more interest and was amazed by his performance, not only a chocolate boy but local he knew how to carry it every time a fresh look and from then on his were line hits and I was mad about this guy ,the style ,trends he introduced when other actors were still in their formula making movies.

The actor grew rapidly and was compared with top class stars, first day first show for his movies, but then past three to four movies he has lost track  and I don’t have any interest in him.

  Since then I haven’t felt that fresh acting and nobody has ever pleased me, the actors next film is ANJAAN most likely to release this year, hope I will see a new avatar, SURYA waiting for you comeback.
