Keith already doesn't want anything to do with him ever since coming back from that space whale; the last thing Lance needs on top of his crumbling self-worth and shaky standing in the team is a rejection that shatters his heart in pieces, too. But now, Lance got himself in a bit of a pickle. Which is fine, because Lance has a plan to get out of it! A wonderful, brilliant, masterful, completely fool-proof plan. His team won't look at him like he's more incompetent than they already do, he won't have to spend the rest of his life trapped on some alien planet, and Keith will never find out just how head over heels he is for him. It's a win-win-win situation. Of course, with Keith, things are never quite so simple, and Lance's plan soon causes a domino effect that changes the entire course of his life.   Or:   Maybe Lance should have been a little more specific when he said he'd do anything to get home. I'm seeing lots of posts from people outside the US calling all americans stupid or turning your anger onto us. Stop. You don't know what it's like for us here. You don't know how hard we fought or how disheartening it is to watch the election map for hours in horror, as the numbers against you climb higher and higher. You cannot know the fear that comes with watching the people around you become more and more brainwashed and hateful with every speech trump gives. I'm an optimist at heart, but this election feels like the death of all hope. We get enough negativity from within our own country, we don’t need more from outside too. Please. Let us grieve.

Hello my friends,

So… shit 48 hours for America, huh?

I wasn’t wanting to post anything at first, not while I was rummaging through my own feelings.

I know I haven’t talked much about myself, I’m so happy being the moderately faceless caf that freaks out about Voltron with you all.

But I am also a queer woman. And I honestly thought I would be more scared. Instead I’m angry. I’m seething and spitting and howling at the moon and holy shit, if I was outspoken about my beliefs before, you won’t believe how LOUD I’m about to get.

I’ve decided that for every week he’s in office, I will do some form of political activism. I’ll go to a protest, donate to a charity, attend an event, something to put a little love back in this world. A rough estimate, but if I start now, I can complete 222 acts of love.

So, I’m trying to think of ideas. I don’t know how I can use my platform here to help so I would love ideas.

But until then, know that I love you. That I’m about to fight for you. That I see all the women, BIPOC, queer and trans people and others that have been attacked by this.

I care for you all endlessly and I’m gonna fight like hell.
