Business or one time?
I know my last post said I would Do more on plot or characters. However this will make an impact on your next decisions. What you need to decide next is what you want from your anime in the long run. There are 2 ways you can look at it.
Make your anime a one time thing
Make your anime into an actual business (franchise, not only anime anymore may include; manga, merchandise, etc.)
Both of these decisions will require you to have a business plan made but one will be more in depth.
If you follow path one it is a lot less complicated and less costly however using this option you lose a lot of control of what you want and which direction you want it to go in as this path leads to selling to companies
While path two  being more complicated, more costly, and more risky. You also get more control with your characters, your imagination, and more. This is my preferred way but it is to each his own.
So while you decide which path you want to follow I will be working on my next post for each path

Begin
So, you have idea for anime? Not sure how to go about making your dream a reality? Well there are things you need to work with 1st. No idea is perfect nor will it ever be and this is something you must learn to accept. However you will need to begin with a plot, characters, and of course a "climax" for the entire season. These are most important when just starting out. Sometimes the plot might be the hardest, other times it could be the characters. Always remember ideas can come from anything at anytime so it would be highly recommended to keep something on you at all times to keep track of any random ideas. You don't want to lose a good idea just because you forgot it. I personally carry around a small notebook and pen even to work and friends houses. Make sure that it has some twists and that it is not something people will always just be able to guess whats happening next. You will want to keep your audience interested and intrigued. Brainstorming is also a good idea for plots and climaxes.
Next are your characters. You want to have unique characters that people can relate to and will remember. Make them memorable by what they say or wear or even how they act. You want your characters to be relatable as people are more likely to be interest in something they can relate to. For example: My anime has relatable characters as each character contains some mental disorders such as Schizophrenia, depression, paranoia, etc. They are something that people can  relate to in the real world. If you make them something such as invincible then people will begin to dislike them becuase it is impossible.
I will leave this post here so until next time enjoy your crazy lives <3 and next time I will post what to do after this, or possibly more in depth for plot or character development.

Anime Industry
Here are some industry facts and stats that I have found where I live (your area of residence may be different)
Facts
The television industry itself is in fact a very competitive industry. There is competition for audience, networks, and advertisers. We think the anime industry is also pretty competitive depending on where you are located. In North America the anime industry is a lot less competitive then the anime industry in Asia. This TV shows primary competitors would be other anime shows being aired. The ways other anime’s are promoted are highly dependent of the location of the promotion. Most anime’s in Japan are promoted by advertisements, managa’s, and started franchises merchandise. While in North America it isn’t as widely advertised and is mostly only advertised through conventions. Except they sometimes promote widely known anime’s with television ads.
There is not any known money being spent for the anime industry in Canada, Nova Scotia, or Halifax.
The industry is declining due to changes in the environment such as online television, mostly being done in Asia, and the reputation it received from the unknown audience. However, the demand for anime all over the world and especially in Japan is still high and always increasing.

Introduction
Hello guys. This is the introductory post on tips for creating your own anime.
First I will introduce myself, you may call me Zen. I have been in the process of creating my own anime for 4 years. It is a work in progress still but great things take time ;) Anyway, I have been creating things since I was little and this just happened to be one of them. I decided to start this blog as I kept having people ask me to even do so. and thus this blog was born. I do not claim to know everything and somethings I say may be incorrect however this is how I have started mine.
P.S - If you are serious about your anime, be prepared to spend some money (not as much as actual production companies, i will give out the free things i know about but still some), time, and a lot of effort.
Hope you enjoy this blog and hope it helps you to create your worlds and make them come true ;)
