Trans Wirt headcanon: when he came out (officially?) He was really young! He didn’t discover it himself either, he was only 8 at the time, but his mom noticed his strange behavior and the fact he was becoming distant and distressed over too many things with himself that raised flags. She did research, and took him to a therapist, and it wasn’t long after that they discovered he was transgender!

First thing they did that day too was give him a haircut and baby baby was sO happy.

A few months later they eventually changed his name from Winifred to Walter, and eventually “Wirt” stemmed from that!
