happy summer break!! it's time to rest and reset, and become the best version of yourself! here's a little guide and some tips ĖšŹšā™”ɞĖš
makeup/skincare:
ā™” throw out any expired products
ā™” clean any brushes or applicators
ā™” reorganize your products
ā™” remember to wear sunscreen everyday and reapply if you're going outside for more than an hour!
fashion:
ā™” sort through your clothes and donate any you don't wear
ā™” wear cute and comfy clothes that will keep you cool
ā™” go shopping or thrifting as a fun activity
academics:
ā™” remember to rest, and take it easy. this is your break after all!
ā™” throw away old journals or papers you don't need
ā™” empty and clean our your backpack, pencil bag, purses, etc.
ā™” when test scores come back- be proud of yourself, and try to figure out any mistakes you made
ā™” make a study schedule for any work or studying you want/need to do!
ā™” don't procrastinate on studying if you have an exam in the fall, like the PSAT. you don't want to wait until the last minute!
ā™” set goals for yourself- ex: five hours of studying a week, one module a day, etc.
health:
ā™” drink lots of water!! as it heats up, staying hydrated is even more important
ā™” eat at least three full meals a day, or at least snack regularly
ā™” stay active! exercising at least three times a week is a good way to get started
ā™” take your meds on time! -> this is so important. taking my antidepressants regularly has helped me feel SO much better and happier
ā™” be patient and loving with yourself. your body is not going to change in a day, and you don't need a perfect beach body to look amazing and be worthy of love. what matters much more is that you are as healthy as you can be
hobbies:
ā™” it's finally the time to do all the things you didn't have time to do during the school year!
ā™” writing, drawing, painting, playing an instrument, crocheting, knitting, reading, making arts and crafts
ā™” try to find stuff to do that gets you off of your phone/the internet
mindset:
ā™” summer break is a time for resting, but it's also a chance for you to improve yourself! didn't like how you acted or the grades you got last year? you always have another chance!
ā™” reflect on yourself, the things and people that make you happy, and the things that don't. it's not easy getting rid of toxicity and negativity- but being at peace, even if it's alone, is a wonderful feeling.
ā™” be patient with yourself. you are not going to change in a day, and it takes a long time to form habits and get to where you want to be. but taking small steps and making changes every day is so important.
ā™” be kind, be loving, and be the kind of person you want to be.

I don't just use affirmations..
Affirmations help you stay motivated and confident in setting goals and achieving things. For me affirmations help me make a change because it motivates me. So yeah if you just use affirmations it might not do as much but it gives you a state of mind and it helps you realize what you need to achieve giving you more interest in achieving it.

a lot of people strain themselves to not check the 3D for evidence of their manifestation, which is great and all cuz u shouldn't be checking the 3D ever anyways. but the concept of it can be distorted so i just wanna clear up some misconceptions about the unspoken "dont check the 3D rule" in manifesting.

the point is not to completely go out of ur way and ur daily routine to try and look for ways that ur 3D is being inconsistent with you. that puts the 3D on the pedestal instead of you, which is not hot āœØ
what you need to learn to do when ur in the process of manifesting something is to learn indifference to the 3D. checking the 3D means that ur looking for validation in the 3D when the only validation that u do need is in the 4D.
being indifferent to the 3D looks like, when ur manifestation materializes your response would be "omg my manifestation materialized...ofc it, did im literally god." or if ur manifestation hasn't materialized you'd just check the 4D instead of the 3D.
the 4D equals the 3D, NOT the other way around. so in order for u to experience a change in ur 3D, u must first make that change in the 4D, this is where persistence and discipline play a huge part in manifestation.
if you absolutely MUST check the 3D you must do so in a way of indifference. not giving power to the 3D means that ur keeping the power to yourself which is what we wanna be doing.
the best way in my opinion to react to the 3D with indifference is to remember that you are always in total control and u can control ur thoughts and in turn ur reality. reverting to self concept is the best thing that u can do to react to the 3D with indifference.
my personal belief is that when ur manifestation materializes then u won't even have to look for it bcuz it'll be so blatantly obvious and in-your-face so u dont have to go out and look for it

WHY LEARNING TO BE SOCIAL IS IMPORTANT ;
social skills are literally the FOUNDATION of effective communication. its important bcuz it allows u to build meaningful relationships, express urself, collaborate with others etc.
when ur learn how to be an effective communicator u can connect more deeply with the people around u. being more social can also provide u with opportunities, and in general make ur life SO much easier. not to mention u have a lot more fun.
SUPERIORITY/INFERIORITY COMPLEX ;
an inferiority complex is the feeling of inadequacy, an insecurity that ur not on the same level as someone else. a superiority complex is the opposite, u can come off as smug or condescending. both are bad in their own right.
the way that u can combat this is by adopting the mindset that you are neither below or above anyone else, and no one else is above or below you.
doing so can kind of even the playing field of conversation in ur mind and make sure that ur not feeling some kind of way before going into a conversation bcuz when u let ur superiority/inferiority complex go by un-fixed it can sabotage communication and not give ppl the change to get to know u.
UNLEARN SHAME ;
first u gotta start off with thinking about ways that shame has influenced ur thoughts or actions. an example that im sure a lot of us could relate to is the whole cringe concept.
to help unlearn shame i recommend journalling, therapy, and mindfulness so that then u can let urself ENJOY things again, without having the looming fear of the judgement of others.
also no genuinely happy person is going to take time out of their day to shame u, only a loser would do that. and if ur the one shaming others for liking something bcuz of ur own insecurity, get that fixed and get a life.
PREPPING FOR CONVERSATION ;
when approaching someone or starting conversation with someone for the first time, a rly good way to start it is with a compliment. dont start it by saying hi cuz i think thats so awkward šŸ˜­
compliment them for something, their response can also tell u a lot about them also bcuz some ppl will take the compliment well and some ppl will serve u a dirty look and that alone can tell u if u rly wanna be conversing with that person.
LEARN TO LAUGH ;
since we've already talked about why learning to not feel embarrassed about every little thing is important, here's what to do when something like that comes up. literally laugh.
for example the other day someone whom i've never spoken to before came up to me and started talking to me so familiarly, like with their arm around me and everything and i just went with it šŸ’€ until he noticed that he had mistaked me for someone else, but its okay cuz now i have a new friend. LAUGH ABOUT IT.
dont take everything so seriously, being able to enjoy and take a joke is what makes conversation so much fun. note, do NOT mistake taking a joke as taking disrespect bcuz u should not take that, there is a distinct difference.
the biggest advice i can give as a yapper is to be more lighthearted and not take everything seriously. bcuz i feel like when we take everything so seriously we become rigid and thats not hot, be a breath of fresh air instead āœØ

over the course of the next eight weeks, we should be preparing for our hot girl summer. this post is ofc just to be helpful and just for funsies, to help you feel your most confident and radiant this summerĀ āœØ

if i were to break down the most important things to prep for hot girl summer theyā€™d be to work on ur base (skin + body) ur company, and ur wardrobe.
BASE ;Ā 
moisturize ur skin after your showers while your skin is still slightly damp, for moisturized and soft skin this summerĀ 
if ur not already using sunscreen on your face AND body then what are you even doing? get in the habit of putting sunscreen on ur body to promote a smooth and even skin tone and protect u from the sun ofcĀ 
get into a solid workout regimen that u can be consistent with. focus on building ur body to perfection! work out as much as u want, i recommend 3-4 times a week.Ā 
my recommendations for soft skin is to use an african net sponge bcuz that always gets me CLEAN. also, use african black soap for glowy skin and use shea butter on ur body while ur skin is still slightly damp.Ā 
not only does it smell yummy but it rly REALLY moisturizes you well. i also recommend using it during the summer bcuz the glow that u get from it is REAL.Ā

iā€™ve elaborated on sunscreen in the bullet points already so letā€™s go to body building. get into a workout regimen 3-4 times a week. iā€™ll share some workouts here depending on what u want.Ā 
the important thing is that you start NOW so that then by the time itā€™s summer your gains will be visible and youā€™ll feel stronger and more confident -> therefore more happy and prepped for ur hot girl summer.Ā 
use body scrubs to exfoliate skin and also promote optimal softness bcuz in the summer itā€™ll be hot and you might wanna show some skinĀ 
WARDROBE ;Ā 
get onto ur pinterest and start looking for inspo for your summer wardrobe that coincides with ur personal style. use ur fashion binder if u have one to start formulating and thinking of outfits.Ā 
create a list of specific pieces that ur looking for (with photos if u can) so that when ur shopping/thrifting u know to get what u want for summer.Ā 
the important things for summer from my own fashion binder are bikinis, camisoles and mini skirts + shorts. bcuz i wrote that in my fashion binder iā€™ll look for and buy those specific clothing pieces for my summer wardrobe. do the sameĀ āœØ
COMPANY ;Ā 
itā€™s more fun when u spend some parts of ur summer with quality company so make sure to prepare that NOW so that then ur plans go smoothly in the summertime.Ā

šŸ§WHO ARE LAZY PEOPLE ?
Lazy people are the forgotten ones. People that don't want to do anything with their lives, they will always end up on a sideline.
šŸ„REALIZE THAT NO ONE CARES IF YOU ARE LAZY
Everybody has problems. No one cares about your victim mindset and about how life was hard/ unfair for you. Life is unfair to everyone . Life goes on. Everyone is busy with their own lives. We got to get moving !
šŸ§YOU AREN'T LAZY , YOU ARE PRIVILEGED
People that need to survive have no option to be lazy . People that are walking up the stairs and they can barely breathe , they have no option anymore than to lose that weight. People that are so vulnerable and their bodies cannot handle of them being so underweight have no option but to lose weight. People that have to go to work otherwise there is no food on the table. They have no option to be lazy. If you have the option to be lazy, you are privileged.
šŸ„THE HALO EFFECT
The halo effect is when we see a beautiful person , we will think that they are less likely to do something bad because we associate someone beautiful with being a good person. Its the same way with successful person. If we see a successful person in any field , we will assume that they are successful in all their aspects of life. Suppose if a person have a successful business , we will automatically think that they are successful in their relationships and everywhere. If you are lazy , you can't benefit from the halo effect . It takes effort to be beautiful and to maintain beauty. We only see these successes , we don't see the progress. Most people are privileged and have it all but most people come from 0 and create it for themselves. It takes discipline.
šŸ§FOCUS ON YOUR LIFE FORCE : HEALTH , DIET AND RELATIONSHIPS
When you feel that you are lazy , focus on your life force . What is your life force ? Health and diet. Focus on moving your body and eat foods that don't spike your insulin and eat food that nourish your body. When you feel lazy or don't feel good , don't isolate yourself. Connect with your family and friends. Also focus on your relationship with yourself. What are you engaging your mind in ? Be connected to your own energy. Journal. Sometimes God or your guides are speaking to you but because your mind is constantly racing , you can't listen to them.
šŸ„CREATE ROUTINES AND STICK TO THEM
Humans need routines. You need a structurised routine. Sometimes we can't stick to routines but we need a base so we have something to go back to. I would like to add something here , I am reading a book by Brianna Wiest , it's called 101 essays that will change the way you think. There was line in the book . " As children, routine gives us a feeling of safety. As adults , it gives us a feeling of purpose ."
šŸ§CLEAN SPACE IS SELF RESPECT
Clean space is a clean mind. Not even cleaning after yourself is a sign of huge disrespect to yourself. Stop reading this and clean your room right now !!!!!
šŸ„THERE IS REASON WHY YOU MADE THAT COMMITMENT TO YOURSELF
Remember the reason . Remind yourself, " Why did I even start ? " " Why did I even want this goal ?" . If you don't want the goal anymore then do something else.
šŸ§THINK ABOUT WHAT STORY ARE YOU TELLING YOURSELF
If you are telling yourself that you are a lazy person , you will act like one. Your mom didn't carry you for 9 months just for you to say that you are lazy. Get a hold of yourself. Don't complain about how you don't have your dream life if you are lazy.
šŸ„REALISE YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR REALITY ANY SECOND
You can change your realities really fast if you start acting like the person you want to become.
šŸ§HEAL THE PAST AND MOVE ON
Go to therapy and heal from the past. You can change your story around . If you are a victim of trauma or abuse , don't just go around and tell people because they lose respect for you .
šŸ„YOUR BODY RESPONDS TO YOUR THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS
If you are constantly living in the past , reliving it , your body will make you ill. If you want a different outcome and different future, you have to do things differently. People around you don't need to change, you have the power to control that. You have the responsibility to heal yourself. What others did to you , it is on them . They will get their karma.
šŸ§ARE YOU LAZY OR DID YOU STOP PROGRESSING ?
People become happy when they start progressing. We constantly need that drive or something to strive for. Create a new project . Find a new hobby. Learn a new skill. Do something that you haven't tried before or pick something you used to love.
šŸ„TOO MUCH INFORMATION MAKES US LAZY
There is so much information on the internet to the point we don't know what to do. There are so many videos on the best diet , skincare or workout , we get consumed in other people's opinions and lives. We start filling their lives with our energy. ( Just a suggestion; you can search workout or skincare recommendations but at the end you should choose a diet or skincare or workout which suits you , not others )
šŸ§ARE YOU TOO CONSUMED IN OTHER PEOPLE'S LIVES ?
If you wonder to yourself : Why do I not have any energy left for myself ? Because you are too consumed in other people's lives so you aren't living your own.
šŸ„FEELINGS ARE NOT ALWAYS RIGHT
Feelings are just feelings. If we all just react to go out of emotions we would all unalive each other.
šŸ§ALLOW YOUR FEELINGS TO PURGE AND YOUR BODY TO HEAL.
Feelings purge by you feeling them. Release your emotions , don't suppress them . If you suppress those Feelings, they will get stored in your body and might show up later as physical illness. Sleeping is also healing. Let your body heal. Once that's done , get up and do something . Don't dwell there for too long.
šŸ„WHAT DO YOU FEEL VS WHAT DO YOU WANT ?
If you feel like eating unhealthy food but then you want your dream body. It doesn't correlate. You need to have discipline.
šŸ§COURAGE IS BEING VULNERABLE
Go outside and try to meet new people. Do something which you wouldn't normally do .
šŸ„LEARN TO ASK FOR HELP.
Learn to accept help. Sometimes God send people to help you. Ask help from God and you will receive help in miraculous ways.
šŸ§BE PRODUCTIVE ON YOUR OWN TERMS.
What does productivity look like for you ? What are your goals? Create that productivity mindset and visions. What works for others may not work for you.
šŸ„ARE THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU DRAINING YOUR ENERGY ?
If you have toxic people around you , you are constantly around them , you are going to feel bad. Distance yourself. No one can make you feel upset, you have the control over how you feel.
šŸ§CHANGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON SITUATIONS.
Most people are projecting their insecurities. Instead of feeling angry, have compassion for them. Similiarily , if you are going through a break up instead of thinking that they were the last person on earth. Think that your souls were meant to cross and then meant to separate. You learnt your lesson and they learn their lesson.Change your perspective on things .
šŸ„FOCUS ON THE THINGS YOU CAN DO
Think about three things you can do . What is your passion ? What makes you happy ? Who makes you happy ? Be grateful for these things. Realise that you can do alot and remind yourself of what you can actually do.

your value isn't determined by what other people think about you. yoru character isn't going to be judged in the court of public opinion. regardless of how you carry yourself there will always be people who don't like you- this can be due to jealousy, projection, bias, etc. so stop wasting your time trying to please everyone.
the truth is the most important thing is your internal character- your integrity, how you treat others, etc. be authentic to what you enjoy, what you think about things. when you are kind don't do it for the sake of being liked, but for the sake of being good just to be good.
focus on being your best you mentally and physically. find good friends and stick close with them. find a greater purpose in life. in the only one whose judgement matters is that of God.
