Side by side comparison. Had my hair shaped and added some much needed layers. It was my first cut by a stylist in over 15 years and my first curly cut so I was pretty nervous! #tbt Talk about heat damage! I remember wanting to wear my hair curly during my trip to Hawaii in 2012, but this was as "curly" as it got! And that parts that look like they have some kind of curl were curled with a curling iron! 😫 Fast forward to today and I am so happy I finally figured it out! @asiamnaturally has been giving my hair LIFE!!! Today I deep conditioned with Hydration Elation and styled with the Moisture Milk and the Curling Jelly and shingled for extra definition. I am so in love with how my hair looks and feels! 😍 LOVE wash days like this!

It's my 2 year #HAIRniversary!!! I'm also 2 years heat free! I'll admit, it has been a struggle at times and then at times it's been a breeze. Even now I go back and forth! But, it's still the best decision I've ever made for my hair and I'm so happy to be done with heat damage. That's not to say I will never straighten again, I'll just be more careful when I do. But, in the meantime I'm looking forward to continued growth and health! ❤️
