Khlood, a physiotherapist, lives in northern Gaza with her husband, Khaled, a paramedic. Together, they are raising their two-year-old daughter, Amira, and their newborn baby amidst escalating conflict and severe shortages. Inflation is skyrocketing, making even basic necessities almost impossible to afford.

Khlood's family is desperately trying to raise funds to survive. They are forced to rely on the generosity of others to meet their immediate needs while they endure these unimaginable conditions.

This fundraiser is $34 away from $1000!

Sad to say that, while $1000 is a major win for this fundraiser, it's just 1/5 of the total amount. This young mother has a four week old baby, a two year old daughter, and elderly parents she and her husband are trying to care for and protect. They're trying to survive in a warzone, moving from place to place, frozen by cold and suffering from hunger. Prices for everything are insane because infrastructure is largely destroyed by the conflict, and supply and demand has caused the price of everything to skyrocket.

Imagine going through all of that. Image looking into your daughter's face every day, wondering how you're going to feed her. Imagine the desperation and despair of being forced to rely on the kindness of strangers, and even then raising the money is a slow and agonizing climb.

The ceasefire does not erase the fact that Israel has committed an urbicide in Gaza.

Rafah has been flattened to the point that the Palestinian-Egyptian border is visible from Khan Younis.

In north Gaza, Jabalia camp has been left entirely in ruins.

Al-Alami, Al-Houja, Al-Fallaju districts have all been annihilated

Bisan Owda has posted multiple videos where she says that the ceasefire does not mean the end of suffering for Gazans-the tent cities, the displacement camps won't vanish, because every single infrastructure has been bombed; even optimistically speaking, it will take months to clear out the rubble. People will still have to spend the summer in the tent, maybe even the winter of 2025 won't see much of a difference. To quote Bisan, this is just a pause in the killing of her people- this is not the end of genocide or colonization from the settler state which had every intention to settle back in Gaza and push Palestinians out into the desert.

I don't know what is going to happen in the coming months, only that this is not the time to stop paying attention. The Nakba never ended and these fifteen months of accelerated genocide has caused much loss and grief. Right at this moment, Gazans are either trying to evacuate or they are trying to return to their destroyed homes and pick up the pieces- now more than ever is the time to stand in solidarity. Our daily struggle to find a piece of bread 🍞

It is well known now that the people of Gaza in the south part are struggling and experiencing the hunger again due to lack of wheat flour 🌾 , which is necessary to make bread 🥖 🍞

Yesterday i have made my journey to bring bread from one of the bakery in Nuserirat area, after waiting for more than 5 hrs, unfortunately I was not able to bring eatable bread to my small family.

The price of 20 small bread is 20 nis (about 5,5$), and from the black market it is more 10-15$.

Here is a documention for my journey to survive and wait in a long queue for a piece of bread
