Sasuke : “You're fucking my brother!?”
Sakura : “No, I'm making love to him.”
Sasuke : “How is that different!?”
Sakura looked him up and down, snapped her book shut, then sighed, : “Well…. I fucked Shikamaru.”
Sasuke : “You what!?”
She pinched his arm, annoyed: “Sasuke, focus. What I mean is, I fucked Shikamaru because I wanted to and because he's hot, but after that, it was over. The difference, my dear, is that I love your brother. I'm in love with him.”
Sasuke choked, looking at her with a bewildered expression: “SINCE WHEN!?”
Sakura : “Since I was eight.”
He frowned: “I thought it was me you loved back then.”
Sakura snorted: “yeah for approximately five minutes then my eyes met your brother's and I came back to my senses.”
Sasuke : “What's that supposed to mean?”
Sakura : “You're aware that you're very difficult to love, right? You're a hottie, Sasuke-kun, but I'd rather not get stuck in a closet with you. You'd find a way to turn the game "7 minutes in heaven" into an analytical session on ‘why this game is boring and makes no sense.’ All to cover up the fact that you don't actually know how to kiss!”
Sasuke blushed: “I know how to kiss!”
She smiled smugly : “I know, I'm the one who taught you how when we were 13.”
Sasuke: “Shut up, we swore we'd never talk about it!”
Sakura snickered.
A pause.
Then.
Sasuke: “So Itachi huh?”
Her eyes lit up instantly at the mention of his name and a soft smile grew on her lips, her cheeks pink: “Welcome to my family, Suke.”
Sasuke snorted : more like welcome to mine. Something tells me I'll be seeing a lot of you in the Uchihas' compound in the years to come.

“Are you dating Itachi because he looks like me?”
Sakura choked.
“Excuse me?!”
Sasuke shrugged.
“I'm just saying. It's weird. I remind you that you asked me out.”
“Yeah, when I was like 7. I invited you to a picnic in the park and you told me it was stupid to sit on the grass and eat outside when you could eat at home or in a restaurant! Fucking snob...” she muttered under her breath.
“You know I can hear you, right?”
She shook her head, then pointed her finger at him.
“Sasuke, I love you, but I love you like a puppy or a green plant. Itachi on the other hand....”
The man scowled and a vein throbbed across his temple. Had she compared her affection for him to that of a mutt? Unaware of her teammate's thoughts, Sakura continued:
“Besides, Itachi's prettier than you. I mean, you're cute, but your brother, man, let me tell you, when he's naked— I— Eep!” she narrowly dodged the incoming Kunai thrown at her without warning. A little more, and the weapon would end up between her eyes.
“Please don't. I don't want to know what my brother looks like naked. It's disgusting.”
Sakura snorted at him:
“Your loss then.”

Gaara: I don't need to go to bed. I'm not tired, I'll be fine.
Sakura: But, darling, I'll be so lonely without you. Come curl up in my arms so I can feel whole again.
Gaara: …Are you trying to seduce me into healthy sleeping patterns?
Sakura: Is it working?

Daminette December 2023: 17-Bodyguard
Damian had heard the whispers and rumors when he first moved to Paris. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the baker's daughter and fashion designer had been head over heels for Adrien Agreste, the model. That had been years ago. Some of their friends refused to believe she moved on from her gigantic crush. He had heard the whispers of how she babbled and froze with just a glance. How she had memorized his schedule and planned their future together. He had heard how she had fallen for him with a simple gesture of giving her his umbrella in the rain. The only thing that had ever stopped them from getting together was how blind Adrien was. He never saw Marinette was anything more than a friend and everyone knew it. That might have been true; all of it. Damian knew that Marinette no longer felt like that, if it had ever been true.
From what he observed, Adrien was the one now persuing the baker's daughter. If any of it had been true, Marinette had long moved on. Adrien was constantly trying to get her attention and would search the halls for her. If anything, the roles had reversed. Adrien Agreste now stalked Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
Adrien Agreste was still 'blind' in his book. The model took zero notice how Marinette reacted to being around him. He noticed the subtle flinches when Adrien called her name from down the hall. He noticed the terror in her eyes, before putting a smile on her face to greet a friend.
Damian froze the moment he saw her.
'Marinette? What is she doing here? I thought she couldn't have a pet in the bakery. Why is she in the pet store?'
His eyes followed her as she moved away from the front and towards the middle. She was almost hidden by the shelves.
'Hamsters?'
"Marinette!" Adrien shouted, "Do you like hamsters, too?"
"Uh, sort of." she answered, weakly.
"They're amazing!" he cried back, getting closer to her and the hamsters.
Even from where Damian stood, he could see Marinette's eyes were searching for a way out; an exit. He quickly put down the giant bag of dog food and rushed over.
"There you are Marinette." he spoke, pulling her towards him.
"Damian!" Mari exclaimed, surprised.
"Did you get lost?" he asked, "I apologize for getting so busy."
"You work here?" Adrien asked, "Why?"
"I volunteer." Damian answered, "I donate to several animal charities nd I like to make sure all the equipment is up to date."
"We can go see the puppies on files now." The Wayne heir suggested, "You said you were looking for a guard dog?"
Marinette lit up quickly, realizing Damian was giving her a way out.
"I'm so glad you remembered." she smiled.
"A dog?" Adrien asked, confused, "What about the hamster?"
"Oh." Mari spoke, "Well, I do think hamsters are cute, but with how scattered brain I get, I might forget instantly. I could forget to feed it or accidentally kill it with a giant roll of fabric." causing the model to wince.
"A dog is better." Marinette stated, "Their routine would be my routine."
"But why a guard dog?" he questioned.
"Why do you have a bodyguard?" Damian asked.
"Huh?" confusing the model.
"Guard dogs keep their owners safe." the Wayne heir answered, "They are loyal to a fault and will attack, if necessary." pulling Marinette closer to him.
Marinette blushed at the closeness. She quickly placed a hand on his chest to get his attention.
"We should go look at those files." She suggested, "You mentioned....training and I wan to make sure they are trained before university."
"Of course." Damian replied, leading Marinette to the back room and away from Adrien's prying eyes.
Damian picked up a radio to give the other workers a warning about Agreste. On the security cameras, he watched as the blonde model turned away and walk out the store.
'Seemed Marinette was his only goal here.'
Marinette sighed in relief as Damian placed the radio down.
"Thank you, Damian." Marinette spoke.
He nodded his head in understanding.
"But how did you know?" Mari asked.
"You are uncomfortable with him." Damian stated.
Marinette nodded her head.
"You look scared when you hear him call out your name in school." Damian spoke, "Sometimes, you turn pale. Doesn't seem like he notices."
"I thought no one noticed." Marinette answered, with a smile, "Thank you so much."
Damian chuckled, "Now, would you actually like a guard dog?"
"I would love one," Mari sighed, "but since I still live with my parents-"
"The bakery." The Wayne heir concluded.
She nodded her head and gave a shrug. Damian went over to a drawer and pulled out some files for an adoption event taking place soon. Marinette looked at him confused.
"It would not matter if I brought another dog home. At this point, it's expected. You would just have to wait." Damian stated.
Marinette smiled happily, "Really?"
"Only if you do not mind coing over to bond with your dog." he declared.
Marinette hugged him and quickly felt him flinch.
"Sorry!" she cried, pulling away from him, "Um, I'll just look at these."
Marinette browsed over the files he had handed her. Damian could tell she was seriously considering the guard dog idea. She started by ruling out the smaller dogs, he expected someone like her to own. By the end of her selection, she had five folders left.
"What do you think, Damian?" Mari asked, "Is there any of them I should rule out?"
Damian looked over the folders. There was a Labrador, Golden Retriever, German Shepard, Doberman, and an Akita.
"Two of these would make great pets, but not guard dogs." He spoke, "I believe you should look online and learn more about them before deciding. You need to make sure you can take care of them. I don't just mean their diet and health. There are many people who return animals because they have gotten bored or because they didn't expect how much time they would have to use to train it."
Marinette smiled, "Thank you. I can tell you really care about these animals. I can let you know by the end of the week."
Mari stood up, ready to leave. She bit her lip in hesitation.
"Are you alright?" He questioned.
"Um." She began, "Nevermind. It's stupid."
"What is it?" Damian asked, "You clearly think it is important. Why do you hesitate?"
Marinette blushed, "Do you think, until I get a guard dog- Can you be my guard dog? Bodyguard! I meant bodyguard; not guard dog! At school! Keep Adrien away from me?"
Damian chuckled, "I wouldn't mind at all."
Mari lit up at his response, "Oh! I can bring you breakfast! Are there any pastries you prefer?"
"I prefer savory over sweets." he answered.
"I can make savory tarts for you." She replied.
With a nod, Marinette left the back room and quickly left the store.
'Guard dog, huh?'
Adrien looked around and spotted Marinette already at school. He couldn't wait to see her and talk to her more about hamsters. As he made his way towards her, he watched as she made her way over to Damian. To his surprise, and likely everyone's surprise, Marinette latched onto his arm. Damian didn't seem to mind and led her away.
Damian smirked as Marinette latched onto his arm. He had seen Adrien arrive and watched as Marinette quickly made her way over to him. He hadn't expected the physical contact, but after he initiated it yesterday, she likely expected it. Damian quickly led her away from prying eyes and hushed whispers. As they walked away, he leaned down to her ear.
"Woof." he barked.
He hadn't expected her to squeak, let alone blush. He chuckled as Marinette puffed up her cheeks and let go of his arm. Cheeks still flushed, she hurried into the school. Damian turned back and caught Adrien staring at them in shock. Damian sent a glare his way before following after Marinette.

The Interview
[ Did I seriously take time away from writing requests and part twos of things JUST to write a fic where Marinette Flambé‘s Gabriel until he’s nothing but a dirty little lump of coal? Yes. Yes I did. Enjoy! ]
Gabriel Agreste would call himself a practical man. He had never been one for frivolous things. And he believed this was a good thing. His straight and to the point nature meant no gift would go unused, no conversation would drag on, his time would never be wasted. And his designs reflected this practical and sharp point of view. Or so he believed.
Gabriel Agreste would also call himself a realist. He knew full well he was the villain, and he knew full well the damage he had done and was doing. But it did not bother him, he was selfish and sentimental at least concerning his wife. And he wanted it all. The wife, the business, the perfect son, the house. All of it.
And that was why Gabriel Agreste wanted Marinette Dupain-Cheng. She was brilliant, creative, determined, and quick on her feet. Each time he’d been near her he could feel the power she radiated her flurry of untapped potential and raw emotion swirling like a tumultuous ocean. Yes, Gabriel needed Marinette to become his most awe-inspiring destructive, and terrifying Akuma, the one who would finally level Paris and rip the Miraculous off of those pesky heroes once and for all! And who knows, if she succeeded perhaps Gabriel would give her the privilege of being his apprentice in his new perfect world. Her designs had been pretty good and he was nothing if not practical.

Reunion
No one from Françoise Dupont High School expected Marinette Dupain-Cheng to walk into the ten year reunion. As far as they knew, she hadn’t been invited. Marinette strode in, with her head held high, and walked right up to Lila Rossi.
“I want to thank you for being such a bitch to me, Lila.” Mari smiled, “You changed my life for the better.”
“E-Excuse me?” Lila questioned.
‘There’ no way that forcing her out of school and isolating her gave her an amazing life!’
“That whole shit about telling people what they wanted to hear.” Marinette began to explain, “I got really tired of defending myself and being told that I had to 'love you’ to make you a better person by the staff. I got tired of being stacked with doing shit for free: all that babysitting I never said I would do, the banners, uniforms, clothes, fundraisers! It was exhausting for a fifteen year old.”
Mari smiled, “Once you turned everyone against me, I realized how much free time I had! I signed up for homeschooling and worked extremely hard to graduate early. I even skipped a couple grades. It turned out that my husband’s family were huge fans of my designs, so they offered to pay for my schooling if I moved.”
“Husband?” Lila asked, concerned, “I didn’t realize you had gotten married.”
“Yeah.” Marinette stated, “We met when I was seventeen and got married when I was nineteen; we have two kids.”
Lila looked up and down at her arch-rival. Aside from a growth spurt and a larger chest, Marinette didn’t look like she had changed at all. She looked like she was in her early twenties!
“So, thank you for bullying me.” Marinette continued with a smile, “It was the best thing that could have happened to me.”
Lila stayed silent. She didn’t know what to say to that. None of her other victims had ever thanked her. She could feel eyes on them. She knew people were listneing in on their conversation. If she started to make a scene, it wouldn’t end well.
“We’ll, I’m married too!” Announced Lila.
“Oh, congrats.” Marinette smiled, “Where is the lucky person?”
Lila spotted a tall, dark, and handsome man walk into the venue.
“There he is.” Lila smiled.
Lila watched as her prey came towards them.
'Just a few more feet and I’ll be able grab him. I’m sure he wouldn’t mind playing along for a few minutes.’
Lila reached out a hand to grab him, when he put his arm around Marinette’s waist and kissed her.
“Hello, Habibiti.” he spoke.
“Everything okay without us at the company?” Mari asked.
He sighed, “Yes. It was just Grayson being himself.”
Marinette giggled, “I’m sorry, Lila. This is my husband, Damian Wayne. Where were you saying your spouse is?”
Lila plastered a smile on her face, “They just stepped out. They had their cellphone out. It must be an important client. We’re both models.”
'There’s no way she is married to this guy! The sooner she leaves, the sooner I can tell everyone I recognize him as an actor.’

In Sickness and in Health
"Damian, I need you to work with the new student on this project." his history teacher stated.
"What new student?" the young Wayne questioned.
'There's no one new here. Has he finally lost it?'
"Stay after class, please." they replied.
Damian simply nodded.
'At least if the new person is all in his head, I can work by myself.'
"The new student isn't here today as she's sick. They're also a transfer student." The teacher spoke, "Here is her address."
"You want me to go there and become ill?" Damian speculated.
"Not at all, Mr. Wayne. All I am asking is that you, at least, speak to her about the project." the teacher sighed, "She'll know better than anyone how long she'll be absent. Get her to write a note saying, I don't know, she gives you full control on the project or something. I'll deal with it from there."
"I can do that." Damian accepted.
'At least I can still work by myself.'
Damian looked down at the address in his hand an then back at the seamstress shop. Confused, the young Wayne entered the store and looked around for someone his own age.
"Can I help you?" asked an elderly lady.
"I was given this address for a classmate of mine." Damian explained, "I believe they mixed it up. Excuse me."
"Are you looking for Marinette?" they questioned.
'Marinette? Is that her name? Not American; he did mention they were a transfer student.'
"Yes." he answered, still unsure.
"Go through the blue curtain in the far back." the lady smiled, "There's a set of stairs that will take you to the apartment above the store."
Damian nodded and went to the back of the store. There was blue cloth hung up on a shower rod that parted slightly.
'A door would be better suited.'
Damian walked up the stairs to the second story and found single door. He raised his hand and knocked on the door. The door opened and he was shocked. There in the doorway was a girl with blue hair, up to his chest. She was wearing what seemed to be pajamas, had a blanket draped over her shoulders, a face mask, and a cooling cloth attached to her forehead.
'She is obviously seriously ill. How did she open the door? Why didn’t anyone else open it for her?'
"Who are you?" she questioned, hoarsely.
"Damian Wayne." he declared, "I was told to talk to you about a history project for school."
She moved away from the door and went stright to the kitchen.
"Sit anywhere you want. I haven't sat in the living room in three days. I'd offer you a beverage, but I don't want to get you sick and asking you to get it yourself, seems rude." the girl spoke.
'Polite; unexpected.'
"What are you doing?" Damian questioned, as he watched her stir a pot.
"Making soup for the week." Marinette answered.
"So, I should not expect you to return this week." he suggested.
"I usually eat soup when I'm sick and for the following days, to keep my immune system cleansed." she explained, "So, history? Leave me the details and I'll work on it."
"Mr. Hayes suggested you could write a note putting me in charge." Damian spoke.
"I can work, Damian." Mari remarked, "I don't need you coddling me because I'm sick."
'Coddle! I-The last thing I would do is….coddle her!'
Damian snapped, "I am giving you a way out! Get your rest and I will do it completely!"
"I'm on bedrest and as you can see, I'm functional." she growled back.
Marinette began to cough heavidly, enough to make her grip the kitchen counter. Damian watched as her breaths became labored, as if she had trouble inhaling.
'She calls this functional?'
Marinette grabbed a mug and poured hot water from a near by kettle. Damian watched as she spooned a small amount of tea leaves into a container and place it in the mug.
'Peppermint? She should try lemon, ginger, something citrus.'
"When are your parents getting back?" Damian asked, not moving from the doorway.
"I'm emancipated." she smiled.
'She's by herself?'
Damian looked around and noticed a small table with one chair. The living room had enough to seat up to three guests. There was also one door to the left, behind the living room.
"Leave the form and an email or something so I can send you my portion." Marinette called out, "If you don't like it, I can work in my room and you can work from out here."
Damian took out a pen and quickly wrote down his email at the top of the paper.
"I'll be back, tomorrow." he stated, leaving the apartment.
'Why is she so stubborn? She needs to rest. The simplest solution would be for her to rest this week while I work alone. What is she trying to accomplish?'
The moment she opened the door, Damian stared at Marinette annoyed. She had showed recently, but her hair was still wet. At the very least, she was wearing different clothes.
He scowled, "Where is the bathroom?"
"Oh, in my room, on your left." Marinette pointed out.
'Guess he really needed to go.'
Damian came back with a towel and threw it over her head, without notice. He quickly began to rub her head to get the moisture out.
"You're going to get worse with you hair looking like a wet mop." Damian stated, "Dry it completely."
Marinette remained silent and still. Damian stopped his movements.
"Marinette?" he asked, moving to face her.
'Shit!'
Marinette's eyes were wide and she was practially hyperventilating. She was clenching and unclenching her hands.
'She does not handle physical contact well. Is she going to be okay at school?'
Damian kneeled in front of her and showed his hands were raised in front of him.
"My apologies." Damian whispered, "I didn't mean to startle you."
Damian reached out and dragged his bag, next to the couch. He pulled out a small cylinder.
"I brought you some tea leaves. Citrus help you recover from illness." he began, "I don't believe peppermint will work." as he handed her the container.
Marinette took it and looked at it. She opened it and sniffed the tea leaves. There was lemon, cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. There was some other stuff she couldn't make out.
"You......made this?" Marinette questioned.
'Why would he give this to me?'
Damian remained silent, but nodded. He didn't think she would noticed he took his time to make her something.
"I make my own teas." he replied.
Mari smiled, "Thank you."
Damian watched as her expression softened. She got up from her seat, letting the towel fall from her head, and quickly began to get things ready to brew the tea. Once it was finished brewing, she took a sip.
"It’s delicious, Damian!" Mari smiled, happily, "Maybe I should go to you for all of my teas."
Before he could respond, Marinette took her tea and went into her room. Damian picked up his things and saw she had gotten comfortable in her bed with her laptop on a tray.
"Were we not working over there?" he questioned.
"I don't want to get you sick." Marinette replied, "Besides, there's only one chair. I'll just email you-"
Damian left the room and returned with the chair from her kitchen table.
"I don't get sick, easily." Damian declared, setting the chair down a few feet from her bed, "h quicker we finish this, the more you can rest."
Marinette worked silently, sipping on the tea Damian had brought her. After an hour, Damian packed up his thing, declaring he'd return the next day.
This time, when Marinette opened the door, he could tell she was moving much more sluggish.
'She got worse! She's pushing herself for me. Damn her stubbornness!'
Damian quickly picked her up in his arms.
"You're-" she began.
"If I get sick, I will blame you later." Damian claimed.
"Sorry." Mari whispered.
Damian placed her back in her bed. He quickly rushed to the bathroom in search of a first aid kit or at least, a thermometer. Once he found it, he brought it back and held it out. Mairnette looked at it, in dissapointment.
"Use it." he demanded.
Marinette shoved it in her mouth and waited. The quick beeping notified them both something was wrong. Mari took it out of her mouth n tried to hide it. Damian was able to grab it with ease.
'102.5'
"I'm fine." Marinette declared.
"You are far from fine." Damian stated.
Damian took the thermometer to the bathroom and washed it, as well as his hands. When he returned, he found Marinette fast asleep. He found a cooling pad near by and placed it on her head. Damian remember a small cloth by the sink and wet it. He quickly cooled off her arms, her neck, and her legs, before covering her up. Damian took out a sticky note and wrote down his number.
Marinette woke up to the room being dark.
"Damian?" she called out.
She grabbed her phone and saw it was close to two in the morning. She set her phone down and felt a paper.
'Sticky note?'
She turned on the flashlight on her phone and looked at the note: Call me if you worsen-Damian.
'Aw. He's really sweet. I feel so bad for falling asleep on him.'
Marinette stood up and made her way to the bathroom. She grabbed the thermometer from the medicine cabinet and took her temperature. It read 99.2; it was the best it had been all week. She washed the thermometer and took some medicine. After, she made more of Damian's tea.
'Gonna need it.'
Damian arrived back from patrol to find an email from Mari.
'I thought I told her to call me if she got worse, not email me!'
He opened it in a panic and found it was her completed work for the assignment. Damian looked at the time. It was now three in the morning and she had sent it thirty minutes ago. He grabbed his phone and opened his contacts. Then, he froze.
'I don’t have her number! Fuck!'
Damian went over the next day and was surprised to see her more active. Marinette had answered the door happily and was dressed in white tank top, pink shorts, and slippers. She wasn't even using a blanket to keep herself warm.
"Damian!" She smiled, "Hey, did you get my email?"
"I did." he answered.
"Is everything okay?" Mari asked, "I didn't think I'd see you today."
"Why did you send it so late or early, I should say." Damain questioned.
"It was when I woke up." Marinette answered, "I'm sorry for falling asleep on you. I decided it was best to work on it, while I had a clear head. I'm feeling a lot better, so I should be able to see you at school tomorrow. I'm sure it was all thanks to your tea."
Damian nodded and held out his phone for her to grab. Marinette looked at it confused, but took it.
"I planned on yelling at you, for being up so late, but I didn't have you number." the young Wayne stated.
Marinette giggled, "And I should give it to you, why?"
Damian remained silent. He didn't think she would refuse to give her number to him.
"In case we are paired up again." he quickly spoke.
Mari added her contact information and handed it back.
"Sick Girl?" he questioned.
"So you know it's me." Mari answered.
He hated how right she was. It was likely that if she had entered her name, he would have forgotten it in a week and deleted it.
"Do you want to come in or was that all?" she asked.
"That was all." he said and quickly left.
Marinette closed the door an giggled.
'He's like a stray cat that came to say hi.'
Damian sat in class and kept his eyes on the door. Marinette hadn't walked in, yet, and it was almost time for the bell to ring.
'Is she still sick? Did her fever come back? I should have called her this morning to make sure she was feeling fine.'
The bell rang breaking him from his thoughts and then, she rushed in.
'Marinette.'
"Late." their teacher declared, "I will forgive you, this time, since you have been sick, Miss Duapin-Cheng."
Marinette nodded her head. It was finally time for history class and it was so different to see her in uniform. Damian could admit he more use to seeing her in pajamas or shorts, with her blanket curled around her. He was even use to her falling asleep, but some how the uniform felt less personal. He hated it. Damian watched carefully over Marinette. He had to make sure she was completely better. Her damn stubbornness left him worried about her pretending to feel better for his sake. Then, he saw it; the tense smile on her face. She was surrounded by their peers. It reminded him of the smiles his brothers' gave at parties. Damian walked over and grabbed her wrist.
"We need to talk about the project since you have been absent." he declared.
"Oh, okay." Marinette answered, as he pulled her away from everyone else.
"He could have been nicer."
"It's Wayne. When is he ever nice?"
"Lucky bitch."
"I can’t believe she was his partner."
"He probably did it himself, already."
"Yeah. He's just gonna give her a copy and put her name on it."
"I can’t believe he touched her."
"True."
"Better than him yelling at us to move or scram, again."
Marinette frowned as she heard what they said about Damian. That wasn't the Damian she knew.
"Thank you." Marinette whispered, once they were far enough.
Damian looked at her questioningly.
"For rescuing me." she answered.
"You appeared uncomfortable." the young Wayne spoke, " I was uncertain how you would react if one of them touched you. I understand if I made you uncomfortable, as well. My apologies for forcing you. Next time, tell them to leave."
"I'm not good at dealing with people; not anymore." Mari declared, "Besides, they should forget about me soon. I'm still 'new' in their eyes. I'm not trying to gain anything by talking to them. I don’t want to get to know them."
"I thought you weren't coming." Damian spoke, changing the subject.
"Huh?" she asked, confused, "I told you I was coming today."
"You were late." he growled.
"Oh." Marinette winced, "Uh….I have a feeling I will be in detention a lot."
Damian stopped and turned to her, waiting for an explanation.
"I have always been late to school, even when it was across from my house." she stated.
Damian sighed, "I'll pick you up in the mornings."
"No!" she cried out.
"Why?" he demanded, "Is that an issue? I have been to your place before, have I not?"
"I'm not a morning person." Mari replied, looking down.
He sighed again, "My brother isn't either, unless he has had coffee. I can bring you some." making a mental note to steal Tim's coffee in the morning from now on.
"Really?" Mari questioned, perking up.
"You better, at least, be dressed." Damian retorted.
"Pajamas count as being dressed, right?" she squeaked.
Damian glared at her, "Why would you still be in pajamas?"
"I'm not a morning person!" Marinette glared back, "I work late and-"
"The shop keeps you that busy?" he questioned.
"Oh." Marinette spoke, "No. I help in the shop sometimes, but that's not my job. I do commissions. She asks me to help some times, but she's going to let me use the sewing machine for free until I can buy one."
"How….long do your commissions take?" he sighed.
"Depends who it's for. If it's for my uncle, I tend to work three weeks straight. It also depends on the pay and timeline. If he called me right now and asked for something in six months, I wouldn't worry unless things began to pile up. It could also be one of my aunties."
'What the fuck is with her family? No wonder why she is emancipated! I can't believe they would work her that hard.'
"You're moving into the manor." Damian declared, "I'll even get you a new sewing machine."
"I am not!" she cried out, "I barely know you! All I know is you name and you make tea!"
"At this rate, I'll have to get you dressed and drag you to school!" Damian cried back.
"Who the fuck made you my babysitter?" Marinette shouted.
"Someone should be." he huffed, "You obviously need someone to take care of you. I don’t see why it shouldn't be me!"
Marinette squeaked and turned red. Realizing what he said, so did Damian.
The teacher watched as Damian took Marinette aside to talk. He was well aware that their assignment had been turned in three days ago. He couldn't hear what they were saying, but it was the closest he had ever seen Damian be comfortable around anyone. He also was aware of Marinette's past school and being bullied.
'I knew getting them to talk would be a good thing.'

In my honest opinion, I feel that Riverdale is sinking again. And when I say that, I'm referring to the main couples. They continue to insist on the previous couples: Varchie and Bughead. The quartet was 7 years without speaking and seeing each other, for nothing. It doesn't make sense for it to come back. B and J had a love story, but let's face it, it was a little boring and long - if there was really a strong and powerful love, Betty would not have done what she did. She always felt something for Archie from the beginning, which is why the two must be together, just like JERONICA. It doesn't make sense for the Bughead fandom to want the same thing back if Betty was attracted and slept with Archie. Veronica and Jughead deserve an iconic love story, and I see that in both of them. But the writers don't want to understand that J and V are perfect for each other. That's the truth.

"The three kinds of people I dislike most are Gossips, Liars, and Hypocrites."– Carole Radziwill
twitter is so fucking toxic, for god sakes! people will have a stance in fandom and another completely opposite one for celeb fandom which make them hypocrites. Gosh!
If your attitude is no sexualization [e.g. being against what was done to that hockey player in the hockey booktok], ship and let ship [aka no abusive behaviour], why do people don't bring that to celeb fandom? the SEXUALIZATION of REAL PEOPLE and the CYBERBULLYING done against REAL PEOPLE are MAJOR!!!
— Being for celebs' looks, relationships, etc., it's envy that makes people cyberbully them pretty simple and obvious. You want to be on their fucking place and that's why you are badmouthing them so bad, got it. Get a fucking life and stop being such an asshole! There's people even hating on celebs' younger than them– are you not happy with your life? Then go, do something about it and change it because that's a 'you' problem.
And don't say this is an age problem. I've seen ADULTS in their 30's doing this hypocrite shit, if it was teens it would be categorised as a basic "they are immature, they will grow out of it", but adults? Who have a job, that are paying bills – some might even being raising the next generation –, that have a place in their society, you know? Why such a bully, with a pinch of sexual harassment, in social media? Or are they like this in real life too?!
And don't start me on the dictatorship that twitter is becoming: or you follow x opinion or you are canceled for some reason that they'll take out of their fucking ass. And they'll be hateful as fuck about it even while preaching against abusive behaviour.
I'm literally at this distance 🤏 of just deleting twitter, it's starting to become not worth it especially for my mental health. The only way of me not deleting it is not scrolling on the timeline cuz for god sakes, It's every piece of shit that appears there!
Just a clarification: I never used names while writing this, which would be impossible taking in account that I never thought specifically on someone, therefore if you ever thought this was me throwing a shade to you that's your conscience sending you a warning maybe you should listen to it.
You matter, you're loved and you belong
Take care, –V 💙

99 rafe + kiara!!!!
enemies to lovers 200k au you said? well here’s an excerpt
99: be careful.
as far as kiara can tell, you’re either a pogue or a kook, never both. at least not until she comes around, a kook by birth and a pogue by heart, even if some people would never see her as both at once.
even her best friends, the pogues, see her as a pogue. kiara likes to think they’re just taking time to realise that they can’t see only one part of her and pick it. they’ll either have her whole, or not at all.
the kooks, on the other hand, either don’t acknowledge as one of their own, or claim her to be a traitor. (it’s almost the same thing, really.)
‘we’re going to sink topper’s boat,’ says jj one day.
‘topper thornton?’ asks kiara. ‘he’s-’
‘one of the big boys, yes, i know.’ jj reaches into his backpack and takes out a black piece of metal. ‘that’s why we’ve got guns.’
kiara doesn’t like guns. kiara doesn’t like violence. kiara doesn’t like the war two parts of the place she belongs to have been waging for way too long.
they sing topper’s boat and rafe sees them - or her, really. he’s walking towards the dock when kiara’s walking off it, and they pass one another.
he looks at her as if he sees something she doesn’t.
‘carrera,’ he says.
‘cameron.’
‘you better not be doing some pogue shit.’ he glances at the boat that’s sinking, and it doesn’t take a genius to realise he’s giving her a way out.
kiara shakes her head. ‘not me.’
(even if she’s holding the top that is supposed to keep the water outside the boat.)
rafe nods. ‘i’m glad.’
a day later, he finds her at the wreck. he orders there with clumsy words, a telltale sign he’s not used to ordering at places meant for tourists, not kings of the place.
she pretends it’s not unusual and takes his order.
‘that all?’
rafe nods. ‘i think you should come join my after your shit.’
she doesn’t ask how he knows that her shit is about to end, or why he’s asking her to join him, because the look on her face is the same as on the dock.
kiara shouldn’t trust him, but she does, so she shows up to his table with her uniform off, and a cup of coffee to her lips.
‘what’s happening?’
rafe’s fingers trace the logo of the wreck on the menu, eyes evading hers. ‘just stay here.’
‘are my friends in danger?’
he doesn’t say anything.
‘rafe, i need to know.’
he looks at her and it’s enough to send chills down her spine. ‘be careful,’ he tells her. it’s not a threat - it’s a warning. ‘just stay with me.’
she does. she texts her friends despite rafe’s warning, but none of them are replying, anyway. he keeps checking his phone.
almost half an hour later, he sighs. ‘i’m sorry.’
‘what did you do?’
he hesitates. ‘saved you.’
rafe leaves without another word, coming and going like a ghost messenger. when kiara arrives at the chateau and the boys are all beaten up, she doesn’t tell them about the encounter with rafe, not the first one and not the second one, either. she helps them get better, but they’re cursing the kooks and she starts to feel uncomfortable, because they hate a part of her she considers as important as the pogue part.
one foot in both worlds.
there’s only one person who seems to understand that she’s on the middle grounds in this war. she just never expect rafe cameron to be the one to understand her best.

SHIPPING x CELEBS: OBSESSION
I already imagine people be like "you're obsessed with them and criticizing others for it?", well... For starters, I'm obsessed by a ship formed by fictional characters, there's nothing wrong about it¹.
¹ – example of a wrong ship obsession: don't be obsessed with REAL people. Real people have the right to choose if they want to continue in a relationship that they are in or search for something else. I lost count of how many times have I read "I lost all the hope in love", that's toxic and your fav won't feel good emotions if they see that type of bs after a break up.
Secondly, I love my ships - and my OTP even more - but my life doesn't depend on them. I know for a fact that the square love, in Miraculous, will be canon and when that happen I'm not going to make a fuss over that as I have seen people do because of celebrities' break ups. "That's not a really couple", well... Thomas Doherty and Dove Cameron break up, I was shipper, I was sad but I didn't make a drama out of it and I moved on, that's their life!
While on the topic of obsession and celebs, let's just jump into the topic of obsessing over a celebrity– stop the parasocial relationships everyone. They don't owe you a thing, except their work and being grateful to their fanbase. You don't own them and you have no say in what they do, say or with who they have a relationship or are friends with. If they are happy, a true fan would be happy for them [believers, armys and blinks this is for you: stop the hate against the Biebers and Taennie]. And please, stop cyberbullying someone just cuz a celebrity doesn't like them– do your fucking research and see if your idol is that good of a person before considering them your idol in the first place.
That's pretty much it.
Have a good day, with love...
