       In the time that he’s lived in Koi. He found himself growing attached to a certain person, it felt strange for him to be feeling this way. He grew up being taught that he was forbidden to have such feelings, and now here he was breaking one of the many rules ( ah, how angry they would be if they were to ever find out about it… ) 

       Nevertheless, there were many other things that he was hardly given the chance to see. Always having to be locked up, he can recall the many times that he was limited to go outside. So when he felt a drop of rain hit his cheek, he’s excitement rose. If It had not been from his friend’s grabbing his hand and pulling him away, then he would have simply been standing there. However, even with the two attempting to find any shelter, the rain kept pouring down faster and faster. 

       Only then did Zuriel decided to stop moving, pulling Lio back. He’s faced looking confused, as he had predicted he would be. ❛ The rain not so bad, let’s stay out here for a little bit. ❜ He answered although it doesn’t seem like the other was much of a fan with such an idea, ah, he really wasn’t sure how else to make him stay… ( wait, a minute! ) 

       With a gentle smile, Zuriel began to move close to the other. Arms reached as he wrapped it around the other’s neck and without any warning whatsoever, he placed his lips against the other’s cheek. It only had lasted for a second, but he could tell he made such an impact as once he moved away he could notice the brushes that were on his cheeks ( how cute. )

        ❛ Please, Lio, ❜ he began to plead with his friend, hoping that maybe this would change his mind ❛ I don’t get to go outside in the rain a lot back in my home, I would love it if we were outside of it even If it’s only for a bit! …Please? ❜

✕ ┊ The words out of zuriel’s mouth were … unexpected. He didn’t know why the other was saying it to him, he didn’t know why he needed to hear it either but something in him felt like it just broke, not in a bad way but like zuriel was just able to get through something that no one was supposed to be able to break through, that no one was supposed to be able to see. A side of lio that even he seemed to have forgotten existed. Tears brimming in the corners of his eyes are unexpected to him, he quickly let out a squick like noise as he turned away from Zuriel. God why was he crying ?! that’s embarrassing and that’s the last thing he wants to do in front of him. 

✕ ┊ Why did it matter so much to him to hear someone say that to him ? He already knew zuriel wasn’t human, just like him. He wasn’t human, neither of them were so it shouldn’t matter but there was something deep in lio, maybe a hatred, or maybe it was fear that still made him relucent to ever tell anyone that he was a burnish. What if they hated him ?

      ❛ Saying something like that so sudden is embarrassing, You know that right Zuriel ? ❜

✕ ┊ He needs a moment to compose himself, the tears are already streaming down his face yet he is trying to insist he isjust embarrassed instead of something else. He is deeply touched and isn’t sure how he is feeling, sad ? It isn’t exactly sadness but it’s a deep feeling that he seems to have locked away for how knows how long now. It hurts almost to have it being brought up against and he is trying to bury it again, but deeper this time.

It actually not that hard! ❜ His tone being cheerful as it usually was, but that seemed to have been not her real attention of why she had approached them and it was only then that he paused to think.

Well, to be more accurate, more than angels as a whole, Clow Reed merely incorporated angel wings in almost all of his designs. His magic was a combination of both Western and Eastern in honor of his mixed parents, thus Yue was a mixture of the two. Though if he were to be honest, he himself represented the Eastern magic while Cerberus represented the Western magic. It was no surprise this man blurted out his species, thinking Yue to be kin. Still this was a rare opportunity to learn of what he was created after.

       The words caused confusion to stir within him, initially, he was rather silent,  unsure how to respond to such a thing --- truthfully, he knew very little of the people that were like him or others that could possibly be like him. Maybe it was selfish of him to assume that the other was an angel, curiosity had always seemed to gotten the better of him. ❛ I wouldn’t know… ❜ He answered softly, a little white lie as to protect his true identity not that there was anything to worry for ( yet, he felt as though if he didn’t then others would view him difficult. )

       ❛ That is a bit of a hard question to answer --- ❜ Zuriel sighed deeply, shaking his head not wishing to think too much about this anymore. He found himself switching the topic to something much more better, and perhaps, less offensive maybe?

It was an interesting situation. He was, with every sense of the word, simply observing a man clucking like a chicken right before him as if he seriously thought he was a chicken. Of course, it was his own doing earlier that day. He had simply asked the man a favor with his power, and that favor was to act like a chicken till the end of his days.

It seems those of a weak will have the effect last longer, even if it was a small request. Though this performance was alluring to others, as he saw another man stop next to him.

       The small pout which formed over his lips was almost inevitable, his heart sinking within his chest as his voice executed such harsh words ( it was a miracle that he did not decide to walk away from the sight before him. ) ever so slowly, his attention shifted away from the man and onto the person. ❛ None. ❜ Zuriel’s words were likely not what the other had expected to hear, most would pick one or the other but for this case, he couldn’t easily decide. 

       He paid little attention to him afterwords, gaze focusing back on the man that was acting like some animal. Shifting uncomfortably, a heavy debate waving on his mind and then, finally, he mustered up the courage to speak once more. 

       ❛ I think It’ll be best If we do something --- watching him like this seems wrong... ❜

✕ ┊ There was a moment of remembering what happened in the past when he heard those people whispering, even if he couldn’t hear what they were saying it still reminded him of things he most certainly didn’t want to remember. He was only drawn back to this reality when he heard Zuriel speak again, his eyes going wide for a second as he looked back to the boy he was traveling with, now sporting a cute red flower behind his ear. He shook his head and smiled, laughing softly as he put both of his hands on Zuriel’s shoulders.

       ❛ Alright, but don’t move, alright ? I’ll be quick, and then we can go in together. ❜

✕ ┊ And with that he rushed into the store quickly, looked over the sandals for just a moment and decided since zuriel couldn’t pick a color he’d just get him some that were rainbow-colored. He took them to the counter and bought them without problem and came right back outsidewith the shoes in a bag before he dug them out and offered them to zuriel, they might be a bit big but they’ll still work for now.

      ❛ These will work for now, try them on just to make sure you can wear them and then we can go in and get you some other things. ❜

       The instant that he felt the other’s hands upon his shoulder, Zuriel froze for a moment. Taking in a deep breath before exhaling softly, relaxing his muscles before slightly turning his head. Glancing over to his new friend, acting as though there had been nothing wrong with him. ❛ Mhm, take your time! ❜ He spoke quickly, and then without a moment of hesitation, he turned away. 

       Only when he heard the other footsteps wander off, that he finally felt in peace. Lio had done nothing wrong, yet, there was a small sense of uneasy with having being touched from behind. Reminding him of things that he wished to not remember, even such a small action nearly made him jump away from him If he hadn’t stopped himself in time.

       ( Don’t worry, you are fine, there’s nothing to be worried about for now... )

       Before he could finish what he had been doing, the other had returned. Rather quickly If he had to say so himself, but not something he minded. A smile as he stood up, taking the rainbow color sandals. There was a moment of pause, mostly to focus upon their color only for him to put it on. A tad big but nothing he would complain about.

It could have been a hard drop from the tall height where he stood. It could have broken a few bones, perhaps even give him severe head trauma. An easy mistake to make, was what Eraserhead would have told him just so he wouldn’t lose himself in the critical depths of self-doubt. That’s what should have happened. But instead of waking up in the infirmary to the sight of Midoriya asking him how he’s feeling and Eraserhead sternly telling him to not be too careless next time, Shinsou finds himself waking up in a bedroom that isn’t his. He sits up, expecting to feel any sort of aching in his body from the accident only to receive none.

What the hell? Where am I?

There’s nothing notably personalized in the room. A bed, a closet, two bedside tables, a television, and a window to a balcony outside. But perhaps the only personalized thing is the basket sitting neatly on the end of the bed. Getting a good look at it, he finds a cat-themed calendar, some comic book, and a book about… bicycles? That’s a weird and random assortment. He gets up from the bed and cautiously heads for the door before slowly pulling it open to find just another door in front of him. He looks to the side and sees a small, white kitchen that would have come off as plain if it weren’t for the bright, colorful flowers adorned around it.

He steps out but stops when he hears sounds coming from near the kitchen but out of his range of vision. He takes another cautious step and peeks around the corner to realize that the kitchen opens up to a dining room and a living room combined into a single living space. Several books can be seen laying around but Shinsou doesn’t get a good look at them when he realizes that he’s not alone.

His gaze catches a white-haired boy standing by himself, seemingly trying to get ready to leave for the day. While he is undeniably shorter than Shinsou, there’s no telling whether he’s older or just about his age since his back is turned to the teen. He seems harmless though. Shinsou isn’t sure why he thinks that but there’s something about this guy that just doesn’t feel like a threat.

With that in mind, he finally decides to speak up.

❝Hey.❞ He takes a step closer, his voice a bit deeper than usual from sleep. ❝Where the hell am I?❞

       He didn’t know what to expect when he heard an unfamiliar voice from behind. Usually, he was home alone and the last time he had checked. There was nobody else living with him. --- To be fair, he did often leave the apartment. Being too busy with the idea of wishing to explore the world, it was something that he was forbidden to do unless the people were in a good mood to let him outside but even that he can recall being rare.

       ❛ Oh, you are in Koi. ❜ He answered his voice was soft; like it had usually was, perhaps, he should have been worried about the fact that there was a total stranger in his apartment. 

       Most would be like that would they not? Yet such a thought did not occur to him whatsoever, ❛ My name is Zuriel! I’m sorry that the place is a mess. ❜ An apologizes that seemed generous, of course, the apartment was only filled flowers that he had picked up during his time here. It had been practically a miracle that he hasn’t bought home an animal with him ( yet. )

       With the introduction out of the way and his interest being suddenly changed to his new roommate, Zuriel stepped forward. Still keeping a far enough distance as he did began to find out soon enough that not everybody was comfortable with the idea of somebody clinging or touching them without their permission.  A smile forming as he tucked a lock of hair behind his ears, there was hardly any hesitation on his part. He had such a cheerful personality, he could even be considered a social butterfly with how he behaved.

       ❛ I’m still not too familiar with Koi, but If you need help with something or explaining than I can do my best! I can call one of my friends too, I doubt he would mind coming here and explaining... Ah, wait, I should tell him that I will be showing up late... ❜ And then a pause. ❛ I had some plans today but looks like that is changed! What your name? ❜

✕ ┊ There was a moment of shock from Lio as the other boy excitedly exclaimed he wanted to go to the haunted house. Zuriel was so soft seeming, he couldn’t imagine in him such a place but he smiled nevertheless. If zuriel wanted to go to the haunted house then that’s where they would go. Lio nodded his head as he looked forward. He can’t remember ever going into a haunted house himself in his whole life but he imagined that it couldn’t be … too scary, right ? Well, hopefully not ! He wanted them to both have a good time, but he did suppose that the point of the house was to be scary so it would be disappointing if it wasn’t a certain degree of scary. Ah he was probably overthinking this at this point, wasn’t he ?

      ❛ Haunted house … I’ve never been in one. We can get some food afterward, Let’s hope it’s not too scary though ❜ 

✕ ┊ There was a small laugh at the idea of it being truly to spooky for them. Lio didn’t think there would be anything in there that was heartstopping but he did expect a few little jumps and possibly little shrieks if they caught him off guard. He looked to his friend who was holding that basket tightly full of silly props. He was glad that zuriel was enjoying himself in the circumstances.

       ❛ Yes! ❜

       He answered with excitement, spoken in a cheerful tone. It has taken all his strength to not suddenly wrap his arms around him, however, he manages to stop himself before doing so. While there was a possible chance that Lio would have not minded the action, but he didn’t dare to risk it. He only faces him, a smile present.

       ❛ Really---? I’m actually hoping that It’ll be scary. ❜ He pauses, thinking for a moment. Maybe Lio was easily scared of things? It was a bit strange to think of that, but he wouldn’t judge him for it if he were ( and it was adorable to picture Lio being the one clinging on him out of fear. )

       ❛ If it’s too scary for you, just remember that I’m here with you! ❜ That was, at least, his attempt on trying to make the other feel better. Needless to say, he switched his attention away from the other. Happily pulling the other to the direction ❛ No more talking! Let’s go already! ❜

       He thinks for a few minutes, his focus remaining on the song, he recalled a time where somebody else had asked a familiar question to him before. He never had an answer to it, however, such a subject was in the past and now was the present.

going up to someone random was not something she normally did, she felt as if it was rude- well that was what she was told. but she was confused by this new world and how to do things so maybe this person could help. she sighed to herself and then tapped at this person’s shoulder, “ um excuse me…could um you possibly help me? ”

       He stops in his tracks, a glance shot at the girl if only momentarily. Wondering about the possibilities that if he agreed on helping, it could turn into a mess. He knew so very little of the outside world, it would practically be a miracle if he didn’t find himself messing up something ( yet, he couldn't easily turn her down )

       Lips parted a smile forming as he began to speak. ❛ Sure, what do you need help with? I will warn you now, I’m still very new to this world. ❜

         no matter how much she tugged and pulled, the mask wasn’t coming off. what was originally supposed to be a fun, silly try-on of halloween costumes has turned into a catastrophe. her skin almost felt like it was melding with the plastics of the mask – definitely not something she enjoyed toying with the thought of. 

         so with her face buried in her poorly-trimmed-nails hands, ruby is muttering to herself. ❛ nnng – how am i supposed to get home looking like… this! ❜ raising her head, she catches her reflection in the store’s windows. her insecurities at an all time HIGH, she couldn’t even bear to look at herself for a few seconds, instead proceeding to bury her head in her hands again. 

         ❛ i wish i bought a paper bag with me… ❜

       ❛ Um, miss? Are you okay? ❜ He does not dare to reach out to her, holding back as his arm was occupied with the basket that he held. Filled with nothing but sweet good and a drink along with it, he had no idea why he felt the need to carry around these items around but he did. Still, it did not stop his curiosity of wishing to explore Koi for what it had. Of course, his focus shifted quickly, his gaze noticing the young maiden burying her head in her hands. 

       ❛ -----You said paper bag, right? I could get one for you If you want one so badly... ❜ He spoke again, in the hope of getting her attention. Noitincg the bit of green from her head, but he doesn’t dare to point it out ( out of respect and also... Fear of causing the other to feel hurt. ) Ah, If only he could remove his red hood so easily, maybe this could help bring some sort of comfort...

✕ ┊ Does he not know … that he needs shoes ? Ah, he won’t judge him, it’s not his place. Zuriel was very kindhearted, though a bit naive, so Lio should help him instead of judge him for his lack of knowledge. He smiled softly as he nodded his head to him, though he needed to at least know what size the other wore before he just went and willy nilly spent his money on a random pair of shoes … well, he can just buy him a pair of flip flops just until they are inside and then they can get something actually nice for him. 

      ❛ Of course, Though what color would you like ? I’ll just get you a pair of sandals … since I don’t know your size and as long as you have sandals on they will let you in and then we can get you something more suitable for the weather. ❜

       His head titles slightly to the side, eyebrows furrowed. ❛ Color? Does it matter?  ❜ he ponders for while, in truth, he hardly has much of a color that he prefers the most. Remaining like that fore a few seconds, lost in his own thoughts, before raising his head to meet the boy’s gaze. ❛ Anything is fine. ❜ And he told the truth, there wasn’t anything that the cared much about at the moment. His interest only focused on exploring everything that caught his interest, things he was never allowed to see.
