Fit Lady, Notebook Sketch.  “When you try your best but don’t succeed.”  How do girls train hard and still keep their girlish figures?   

After eating right, training hard, meditating, breaking up my La Cucaracha band, continuing to not drink or party, reducing stress, getting 20hrs of sleep a night, stop Bird Box driving, and encouraging my 150,000 tumblr followers to stop following me and go outside, I thought I would finally achieve my ideal petite lady body.  Also, I ran my first charity full marathon this year.  I did something healthy, hopefully inspired others to make healthier choices and raised some money for a good cause.  And yeah, although, I didn’t finish in last place, I was on the tail end of my age group.  As the Coldplay song goes, “When you try your best but don’t succeed.  When you want to look like a fit lady but than lose your lady bits, grow a mustache and pack on Gladiator muscle.”.

Fun fact about Diller, she was a late bloomer and did not start her career until she was 37. The housewife and mother of five started writing for the San Fransisco KSFO radio station before her husband encouraged and supported her to perform stand up comedy.  Her wild success and hard work proves it’s never too late to start, change and learn something new.

Ode to Dog (silly lyrics to a silly guitar song)

“I rescued you from the dumpster at our market. I seriously thought it was a good idea at the time. Now I can’t let you out of the back room or you’ll kill me. At least this way I can call you mine.‎ ‎ Because you’re my half dead dog. Three legs, no fur, completely blind. A‎t‎ least this way I can call you mine. ‎‎ ‎ Sometimes you jump up and bite off people’s faces. Sometimes you sniff people in their special places. You bark all day for no reason at all. You never want to come when I call.  At least this way I can call you mine.

Most dog’s like to watch their owners get undressed. Why do you leave the room, disappointed and unimpressed?‎ Okay, where did all the dinner go? How did he swallow that turkey whole. At least this way I can call you mine.

You’re my best friend when I’m feeling blue My special needs dog, and I need you.‎ Let’s call those seizures an interpretive dance. ‎The burden of a pet does NOT replace real human romance. At least this way I can call you mine. ‎ At least this way I can call you mine.‎”
