The nitty gritty details and disclaimers:

This is an entire collection that is interwoven with each other. Hair is repositoried to different ages, genders, defaults, and even hidden toddler hair. It's highly recommended that the collection stay intact and that you have the Ultimate Collection or all EP/SP.

Not all hair works with each sims' faces and not all sims' faces work with each hair. So keep in mind foreheads, cheeks and ears may poke out. Previews are available at LordCrumps.com

The collection includes add ons that may require the defaults and are flagged as "Store Edition" hair. TS4 hairs range from base game to the most recent Stuff Pack (Home Chef Hustle). More hair may be included as add ons in the future.

I wouldn't convert some hair without their outfit counterparts. Please make sure to remove conflicts. The outfits include:

Most of these hairs exist already in the realm of the community as custom hairstyles. However, if you like one of the hairs from this collection as custom, please send an ask and I'll make that for you. Any of my hair previously converted (shrink, servo, santa hat, etc) should be removed; they'll be included in this collection.

TOU: Please feel free to use these as a template for your defaults and recolor the hair as you'd prefer for download purposes. I only ask that you do not reupload these original files (breaking down to packs, gender, etc) as they are intertwined and may not work without their exclusive counterparts. Please do not make these hairs as customs for reupload (I'll do it for you, if you send an ask).

There are a few hair/items that use cc: credit: nolansims, sforzinda, arethabee

This took about... 8 months to complete. I've (re)converted all of these myself to my current expectations of my conversion content. This was play tested thoroughly over the course of that time. If there are any issues, please don't hesitate to send an ask. The file size is massive even compressed, but to be honest it's pretty decent for 500+ hair.

Makeover Madness - How to Genetically Change Your Sim’s Face

TUTORIAL: How to Change an In-Game Sim’s Face With SimPE

(For playable Sims. For a tutorial on how to change the appearance of a non-selectable NPC, such as a Social Worker, consult my upcoming tutorial. Originally posted on MTS.)

Have you ever had a Sim with a face that you wished was different somehow, yet plastic surgery won’t cut it? Maybe one of your unique Sims became a parent recently, but their child took after the ordinary parent. Perhaps you are worried about the rate of malnutrition in Veronaville and want to help its residents.

You could use Alt Sim Surgery on them, but that would make them homozygous. So, what do you do? Whip out SimPE and follow this tutorial to change ONLY their face, not the rest of their genes.

Level: Intermediate 

You will need to be somewhat comfortable working with SimPE to follow this tutorial. If you are excellent at following instructions, though, then even if you have no prior SimPE experience, you may be able to perform the steps of this tutorial with ease.

Tools You Will Need:

SimPE. I am using version 0.72.1.33855.

The Sims 2. There’s a fair chance you already have this installed on your system.

The Sims Bodyshop. If you have The Sims 2, you have this.

A new folder on your desktop. It helps keep you organized.

Patience. It’s a virtue.

Now, before we begin, make sure to backup your neighborhood! It’s easier to undo mistakes this way. You will also want to make a folder on your desktop to keep things organized.

my first ever default replacement ! even though it's my first time doing that, i checked and the hair works perfectly so don't worry it's not going to break your game. still if you have a problem with it, don't hesitate to tell me and i'll fix it.

Permanent Quarter-Tile Placement On!

Just wanted to share a tip I know about how to make the Quarter Tile Placement Cheat on all the time so you just have to press Ctrl + F when you want to use it without having to type in a cheat each time.

Many of you may know that adding “setquartertileplacement on” to your userStartup.cheat doesn’t work, so I’m going to tell you where you can put it that does work, in case you didn’t already know!

So, head to Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config and open up the file called “globalProps.xml” with a text editor, I recommend Notepad++. You should probably make a backup of this file first before making any changes, just in case.

In this file, scroll to the bottom and you should see a line that says:

<AnyBoolean key=“quarterTilePlacementEnabled” type=“0xcba908e1”>false</AnyBoolean>

Simply change the false to true and save the file and that’s it! The Quarter Tile Placement cheat will always be on without you having to type it in ever again! Simply toggle it on and off with Ctrl + F!

Hope that helps at least someone! I was telling my friend @morepopcorn​ about this trick and I couldn’t find the website where I initially read about how to do this anymore so she suggested I should make this post as it might not be common knowledge.

GENETICALLY CORRECT PLEASANTVIEW using carrit's recreation of ancestors

Edit : re-wrote the post as there were some missing informations and some misinformation.

In EAxis Pleasantview, the premades aren't genetically correct and are simple modified face templates. This isn't new information as there has been genetically correct version of the premades done before.

Also in EAxis Pleasantview, a lot of the ancestors lacks any character data, making it impossible to resurrect/extract them. Their faces were recreated in clean templates of the neighborhood and they were given character data.

But on Mod The Sims, I stumbled across carrit's very precise recreation and decided, why not try to use them to make my own genetically correct premades ?

A few points :

• Mary-Sue, Brandi and Don weren't given any changes, that's why they aren't here. I think it's obvious as to why for Mary-Sue but as for Brandi, she already looks like her parents and it's the same for Don who is a clone of his father.

• I used the hidden version of Skip and Darleen. Dirk seems to be based off of the hidden version of his mother (also the unhidden version of her is just a face 2) and as for Skip, there's some debate about how the hidden version is the "true" version of him. So yeah.

• I could've made Bella a simple face 1 like her Strangetown version because her father is a face 1 as well. To make her more interesting-looking though, I made her a mix of her father and mother, who is a face 16.

BONUS : Lucy, Alexander and Beau respectively as adults.
