I know we have all talked about how Katsuki wouldn’t be super into PDA but listen!! I have this specific picture in my head!!!
he’d be walking alongside you, and he’d notice your hand just kind of, dangling? down by your side. he glances over a few times, tuning out of the conversation entirely, his gaze wholly focused on your empty hand.
then he notices a couple walking on the other side of the street, hands clasped as they walk with their heads bowed together, rosy cheeks and boisterous laughter coming from the pair.
he eyes your hand again, then huffs, hand snapping out to gently slip his palm in yours.
the touch causes your brain to short circuit, halting your chattering. you weren’t expecting the warm palm now enveloping your own, and you stare openly at him in shock.
but he’d keep his gaze ahead, ignoring your curious eyes.
then he’d intertwine your fingers together without looking at you, the tops of his cheeks rosy as he stared straight ahead. “better.” He’d grumble under his breath.
because he doesn’t quite know how to be the best boyfriend in the world yet, but he’s determined as hell to get this right.

Wildly Wealthy Koreans (5); inspired by Crazy Rich Asians
Pairing: Jungkook x (f.) Reader
Genre/Tags: photographer/ filmmaker! jungkook, rich girl/ fashion designer! reader, established relationship, angst, fluff, smut
Series summary: When you invite your boyfriend, Jungkook, to accompany you to your brother's wedding in your hometown, Daegu, he’s overjoyed, eager to meet your family and experience a side of your life you’ve never shared with him. However, once he uncovers the truth about who you really are, he’s unable to grasp the full extent of your reality. The situation becomes even more complicated when a certain someone makes him feel profoundly unwelcome, leaving him to question not only your world, but also his place in it.
Disclaimer: This series is heavily inspired by the movie Crazy Rich Asians, with the storyline closely following the original film's plot. However, I wanted to reimagine it as a fanfiction, where Jungkook and OC take center stage as the main protagonists. While I’ve kept the core elements and themes from the movie, I’ve added my own touches here and there, such as altering certain character dynamics and incorporating a few original settings. Some scenes are directly inspired by the movie, and I’ve worked to recreate them in a way that it hopefully resonates with the fans of the movie. Hope you enjoy!!
Word Count: 8k+
Chapter Warnings: vandalization, wooyoung, your mom.
A/N: i’m so sorry for the super late update omg. since it’s the holiday season, my friends dragged me on an impromptu trip to the mountains, and I didn’t have proper wifi for like three days, so I couldn’t really proof read and post updates. anyways, i was thinking it might be a good idea to set fixed days of the week for updates, so I don’t leave you all hanging for too long. how about we make it every tuesday for this one? and if I’m feeling extra motivated, you might even get impromptu updates in between !! let me know what you think <3 also what do you guys think about this part? i really tried to mirror eleanor's character here hehehehe
part 5
Jungkook gulps, the uneasiness in his chest growing heavier with each passing second. His thoughts spiral... how could he not know something so significant about you? The weight of Wooyoung’s words lingers like a dark cloud, and Jungkook feels a pang of frustration at his own cluelessness.
Meanwhile, Wooyoung sits there, exuding smug satisfaction, his tone dripping with judgment and condescension. Before Jungkook can even think of a response, a familiar voice cuts through the tension.
"Hey, Jungkook! There you are. I’ve been looking for you everywhere."
It’s Namjoon, one of your and Taehyung’s cousins. Jungkook immediately recognizes him from the tea ceremony and their brief interactions earlier on the cruise.
Without hesitation, Namjoon strides over, his easy grin never faltering as he helps Jungkook up from the bar, casually slinging an arm over his shoulder in a protective, almost brotherly gesture.
Jungkook blinks, startled but compliant, his gaze lingering on Wooyoung for a moment longer before he lets Namjoon steer him away.
As they weave through the pulsating crowd on the dance floor, Namjoon leans in slightly, his voice pitched low enough to be heard over the booming bass of the DJ’s set. "Looks like you needed some saving." he murmurs, a soft knowing smile tugging at his lips.
Jungkook casts one last glance at the chaotic swirl of neon lights and bodies moving in sync with the music. The atmosphere feels oppressive, the conversation with Wooyoung still swirling in his head, but Namjoon’s steady presence offers a much-needed sense of calm.
"You okay?" Namjoon asks once they’re out of earshot, his concern evident as he peers at Jungkook.
Jungkook exhales deeply, his hand running through his hair. "Who... was that?" he asks, his voice strained, laced with lingering frustration and confusion. Namjoon chuckles softly, his grip on Jungkook’s shoulder steady as they put more distance between themselves and the chaotic energy of the party.
"That?" he repeats, shaking his head slightly. "That was Wooyoung. A bit of a wildcard, but mostly harmless... as long as you don’t let him get into your head."
Jungkook frowns, his mind still caught in the web of the earlier conversation. "He said some... things." he murmurs, his voice laced with tension. "About Y/n, about their past... and how her mom wanted them to—" He stops abruptly, the words sticking in his throat, as if saying them aloud might solidify them into something undeniable.
Namjoon sighs, his expression softening as he glances at Jungkook. "Yeah, Wooyoung does have a knack for stirring the pot." he admits. "And... well, he’s not entirely wrong about some of it."
Jungkook’s head snaps towards Namjoon, his brows furrowed in confusion and frustration. "But you’ve got to understand something, Jungkook." Namjoon begins, his tone measured.
"Y/n’s life before you? It’s complicated. Her mom? Even more so. She’s... traditional. She wanted Y/n to settle down here, to live the life she envisioned for her. Going to New York? Pursuing fashion? That wasn’t part of the plan. Her mom thought..." He trails off as they reach a quieter corner, settling near a small table where the thumping bass of the music fades to a faint hum.
"She thought Y/n would drift away... from her culture, her roots, everything she was raised with." Namjoon continues, his voice lower now. "So, she brought Wooyoung into the picture."
Jungkook leans forward slightly, absorbing every word, trying to piece together this part of your life he hadn’t known.
"They didn’t date." Namjoon clarifies quickly, sensing Jungkook’s unease. "Hell, Y/n couldn’t even stand the guy. He’s off-putting, doesn’t know how to respect boundaries, and, honestly, just a jerk. I don’t even know why Seokjin invited him tonight. Even Taehyung can’t stand him." He pauses, shaking his head in exasperation before continuing.
"Anyway, Y/n’s mom had this whole idea that Wooyoung was the perfect match... stable, from a good family, all that nonsense. She thought marrying him would keep Y/n grounded, keep her here. But Y/n? She wasn’t having any of it." he pauses, looking at Jungkook.
"She rebelled, stood her ground, and thank god for Taehyung and her dad. They backed her up, and eventually, her mom had no choice but to let her go and do what she wanted."
Namjoon leans back, his gaze steady as he studies Jungkook. "Look, Y/n’s family dynamic is... complex. But she’s here now, and she chose her path. And she chose you." His words linger, grounding Jungkook in the present as the weight of the past begins to feel just a little less overwhelming.
Jungkook stays silent, sitting stiffly as the reality of everything sinks in. His hooded eyes stay fixed on the table, his mind churning with thoughts he’s struggling to process. Namjoon notices, his concern deepening at the tension in Jungkook’s shoulders and his distant expression.
"Hey..." Namjoon says gently a few second later, leaning forward. "Why don’t we head back to your room? I’ll call a few friends, and we can just hang out, play some cards, or something chill." He’s clearly trying to distract Jungkook, offering him an escape from the storm brewing inside.
Jungkook finally looks up, his lips curving into a tight, appreciative smile. The gesture speaks volumes, and Namjoon doesn’t push further, understanding the gratitude in his silence. A distraction sounds good, better than sitting here, drowning in the spiral of his own thoughts.
"Yeah, sure." Jungkook agrees, his voice subdued. He rises from his seat, and Namjoon drapes a casual arm over his shoulders again as they make their way out.
"You’re a good guy, you know that?" Namjoon says, his tone light but sincere. "I’ve heard so much about you from Y/n and Tae. Don’t let stuff like this get to you. It’s not worth it."
Jungkook nods, his expression unreadable. He’s heard words like that more than once lately, but they leave him unsure... comforted, yes, but also questioning what kind of person he truly is. Still, he doesn’t dwell on it, choosing instead to follow Namjoon’s lead.
As Namjoon pulls out his phone to text a few friends, Jungkook exhales slowly. The familiar comfort of his cabin feels like a welcome retreat. But the moment he unlocks the door and steps inside, the comfort vanishes.
"What the fuck?" Namjoon blurts out beside him, his voice sharp with shock. Jungkook freezes, his eyes widening as he takes in the chaos. His room is unrecognizable... furniture overturned, belongings scattered everywhere. But it’s the wall that grabs his attention, a chill running down his spine.
GO BACK TO NEW YORK, YOU BROKE MOTHERFUCKER.
The words are scrawled in bold red spray paint, glaringly hostile against the pale wall. Jungkook’s lips part in disbelief as he struggles to process what he’s seeing.
His gaze darts around the wreckage, landing on his camera lying on the floor. The sight makes his stomach drop... the lens is shattered, pieces of glass glinting in the light. His fists clench at his sides, and his jaw tightens as anger bubbles beneath the surface, threatening to spill over.
Namjoon steps forward cautiously, his brows furrowed as he surveys the destruction. "Who the hell would do this?" he mutters, his tone a mix of anger and disbelief.
Jungkook doesn’t respond immediately, his chest heaving as he stares at the damage. Whoever did this wasn’t just trying to vandalize... they were sending a message. A clear, personal message meant to hurt, to unsettle.
Namjoon places a firm hand on Jungkook’s shoulder. “Jungkook...” he says, his tone steady but urgent. “We need to report this. Now.”
Jungkook shakes his head, his jaw tightening. “No, it’s okay.” he breathes out. “I don’t want to make a scene.” He doesn’t elaborate, but deep down, a suspicion simmers. He has a hunch who’s behind this.
Namjoon’s lips press into a thin line, clearly unconvinced. His gaze flickers over Jungkook’s tense expression before he nods reluctantly. “Alright...” he concedes, though the hesitation in his voice is evident. “But at least... let’s get someone to clean this up.”
As they step out of the cabin in search of help, Jungkook’s eyes catch a flicker of movement down the hallway. A group of men stand at the far end, partially hidden behind the corner of a wall. They’re watching him.
The moment Jungkook’s gaze locks on them, they smirk, their expressions dripping with smugness, almost as if they’re proud of what they’ve done.
Jungkook’s stomach churns as the group casually turns and saunters away, their laughter echoing faintly. It’s obvious... they’re Wooyoung’s friends. The realization cements his earlier suspicion, and anger flares in his chest.
Childish. Immature. Petty. That’s all he can think. What kind of people stoop so low, targeting someone just because of who they’re dating? He feels the bitterness rise in his throat but forces himself to swallow it. Dwelling on it would give them more power than they deserve.
Namjoon notices the shift in Jungkook’s demeanor and follows his line of sight. “Them?” he asks, his voice low. Jungkook exhales sharply through his nose and nods, though he says nothing.
Instead, he straightens his posture, his resolve hardening. “Let’s just focus on fixing this.” he says finally, his voice steady. He’s unsettled, undeniably, but he refuses to let them win by giving the reaction they clearly want.
As the staff arrive to clean up the mess, Jungkook quietly requests Namjoon to let the incident go. “Please... don’t tell anyone about this.” he murmurs, his tone firm. “Not Taehyung... not Y/n. No one.” He says and Namjoon nods understandingly though he feels Wooyoung's actions need to be informed, especially to you.
The cruise crew, apologetic and accommodating, offers him a new cabin for the night while all the repairs are arranged. Jungkook accepts with a quiet nod, and Namjoon insists on helping him move his luggage.
Once everything is settled, Namjoon lingers at the doorway of the new cabin. His brows knit together in concern as he looks at Jungkook.
“You sure you’ll be okay, buddy?” he asks gently. Jungkook stands in the middle of the room, arms crossed tightly over his chest. He offers a tight-lipped smile, nodding. “Yeah, don’t worry about me.” he says, his voice quieter now.
Namjoon observes him for a beat longer, noticing the tension in his shoulders, the flicker of something unresolved in his eyes. “Thanks for tonight, Namjoon.” Jungkook says after a moment, breaking the silence.
“No need to thank me, man. Just... if you need anything, call me, okay?” Namjoon’s voice is soft but reassuring. He gives Jungkook a small, supportive smile before stepping out and closing the door behind him.
Now alone, Jungkook lets out a heavy sigh as he sinks onto the edge of the bed. The events of the night replay in his mind, but they’re overshadowed by the larger storm brewing within him.
The spray-painted words and broken camera are bothersome, sure, but they pale in comparison to the weight of the new information he’s learned about you.
Why hadn’t you told him?
The question gnaws at him. His thoughts spiral, each one sharper than the last. He wonders about the secrets you kept... your family’s reality, their influence, their power, their reach. Part of him understands, he really does.
But another part wonders if you didn’t trust him enough or if you were testing him somehow. The doubt curls in his chest, tightening with each passing second.
Before he can sink further into his thoughts, his phone buzzes. The screen lights up, and your name flashes on it. He stares at it for a moment, his thumb hovering over the answer button as he draws a calming breath. He doesn’t want you to know what happened tonight. Not yet.
And even amidst the chaos, he’s missed you, and the thought of hearing your voice is a welcome relief. He finally picks up, holding the phone to his ear.
“Hi, Kook!!” Your voice is bright and warm, cutting through his clouded thoughts. Despite himself, Jungkook smiles, the tension in his shoulders easing just a little. “Hi, baby.” he murmurs softly, his voice carrying a warmth that matches yours. For a moment, everything else fades, and it’s just the two of you again.
“Oh my god, I missed you so much.” you whine, your voice filled with a playful pout. Jungkook exhales a soft laugh, leaning back onto the mattress and clutching his phone tighter against his ear. A smile tugs at his lips, one he doesn’t bother to suppress as he stares at the unfamiliar ceiling of his new cabin.
“Why? Is Jeju that boring?” he teases, the humor in his voice masking the heaviness still lingering from earlier. “Without you? Everything’s boring.” you retort, the response so quick and earnest it pulls a chuckle from him. The sound carries a warmth that he didn’t realize he desperately needed until now.
“How’s the cruise going? Having fun?” you ask, your words bubbling with genuine curiosity. Jungkook’s eyes flit to the corner of the room, where his suitcase sits haphazardly unpacked.
Fun. The word feels almost foreign after the day he’s had. But for you, he keeps his voice steady.
“Yeah, it’s been fun.” he lies smoothly, weaving the words together like armor. “Oh my god, I’m so glad to hear that!” Your excitement is so pure, so untainted, it makes him momentarily forget the day he's had. “I went to the Snoopy Garden today and it was so freaking adorable! You’d love it. We have to come here together.” you beam.
He can’t help but smile at your words. “That sounds nice, baby.” he chuckles. “Make sure to send me pictures. I wanna see.”
“Of course! I’ll send them right after we hang up.” you promise, your enthusiasm so contagious that Jungkook feels the tightness in his chest ease ever so slightly.
As you continue to talk, filling him in on the small joys and whimsical adventures of your day at the island, he feels the tension seeping out of him.
Wooyoung, the spray-painted words, the shattered camera, the mocking laughter from the hallway, all of it fades into the periphery. Your voice, your laughter, the ease with which you share your world with him... it all anchors him in a way he can’t quite explain.
A few minutes later, there’s a sudden muffled noise on your end, and Jungkook recognizes the sounds of your friends calling you. He doesn’t need to ask, he already knows what’s coming.
“Okay, baby, I think I have to go.” you say reluctantly, your voice tinged with guilt. “Miyeon and the girls are dragging me to dinner.”
He hums softly, a small, understanding smile curving his lips. “Of course, baby. Go have fun. Call me when you’re back, okay?” There’s a pause before he adds, with a quiet sincerity. “I love you.”
“Yes, I'll call you and I love you too.” you reply, your voice warm and unwavering. “Bye!”
The line goes dead, and for a moment, Jungkook stays there, staring at the phone in his hand. The cabin is silent again, but it doesn’t feel as suffocating as before. You’ve always had a way of making the world feel a little lighter, and tonight is no exception.
//
The next day flies by in a haze of chatter, laughter, and shared moments as Jungkook spends most of his time with Namjoon and Namjoon's friends.
Despite the tension simmering beneath the surface, he doesn’t let Wooyoung or his friends’ antics claw their way under his skin. He’s determined not to give them the satisfaction of a reaction.
By the next afternoon, he’s in Taehyung's car along with your cousins, Namjoon and Seokjin, driving home back from the port. The ride is filled with easy conversation and the occasional bout of laughter, a welcome distraction from the remnants of unease still lingering in his mind.
“Thanks for coming, Jungkook. I’m sorry I couldn’t spend much time with you.” Taehyung says, glancing over at Jungkook from the driver's seat, his expression apologetic. “You know how it is... my friends were dragging me everywhere.”
“It’s all good, man.” Jungkook replies with a grin. “And I totally get it. It was your bachelor party, after all.” he adds. Taehyung laughs, the sound light and carefree. “Still, I wish I could've spent more time with my sister's boyfriend.”
The familiar sight of your house comes into view not long after as Taehyung zooms past the long driveway, and Jungkook feels a wave of relief wash over him. Exhaustion tugs at his limbs, but more than anything, a quiet longing stirs in his chest. All he wants right now is to see you.
After bidding the others goodbye and hauling his luggage inside, he heads straight to your room. Your flight should be landing any time now. He checks his phone absentmindedly, hoping for a message or a call to signal your return and for now, all he can do is wait.
//
Miyeon giggles as she stretches her arms, stepping out of the car. “Most healing bachelorette party ever.” she declares, a dreamy expression on her face.
“I can still feel my masseuse’s hands on me. I don’t know what magic she used, but it feels like my back and shoulders have been reborn.” she exhales. You laugh as the guards step forward to collect your luggage. “Honestly, same. I want to go back just to get that massage again.”
As the guards carry your bags towards the house, you follow Miyeon inside, the faint chatter of voices growing louder the deeper you go. Your heels click softly against the marble floor as you both approach the lounge, as familiar voices draw your attention.
You peek inside and instantly smile. Seokjin is hunched over the billiards table, holding his cue stick with a dramatic level of precision. Namjoon stands to the side, visibly exasperated, one hand holding his cue stick against the floor while his other hand rests on his hip as he watches Seokjin line up a shot.
“Look Namjoon...” Seokjin drawls, his tone a mix of amusement and condescension. “You're supposed to stand like this. Your posture is a disgrace to billiards.”
Namjoon groans, running a hand through his hair. “Hyung, my posture isn’t the problem. The problem is you’re cheating.”
“Cheating?!” Seokjin straightens, feigning deep offense. “Excuse me, I play with honor and integrity. You, on the other hand, couldn’t aim if your life depended on it.” he shrugs.
“You’re just salty because your aim’s been off the entire game." Namjoon fires back. “Watch. I’m about to sink three balls in one shot.”
“Sure.” Taehyung interjects from his spot by the bar, swirling a glass of whiskey casually. “And when you miss, Jin hyung will find a way to roast you for the next hour.”
You and Miyeon exchange amused glances, both of you shaking your heads as the banter continues. Namjoon leans over the table dramatically, his cue stick angled as though he’s about to make the shot of the century.
Seokjin watches him like a hawk, ready to pounce on any mistake. Taehyung simply sips his drink, muttering something under his breath about “hopeless competitors.”
As you approach them, your thoughts wander. Despite the comfort of home and the familiarity of these voices, a part of you feels incomplete. Your eyes sweep the room once more, subtly searching for your boyfriend.
You’re desperate to see him, to feel his arms around you, to close the unbearable distance that’s stretched between you these past two days.
Somehow, two days have felt like an eternity. You’ve replayed every text and call in your mind, but nothing compares to having him here, tangible, in front of you.
“Oh my god, baby...” Taehyung is the first to notice the two of you approaching. Without missing a beat, he sets his glass of whiskey down on the bar and strides forward, pulling Miyeon into a warm hug. “You guys are back!” he exclaims, his smile wide and genuine as he steps back to take a good look at both of you.
You can’t help but grin at him, waving at Namjoon and Seokjin, who have momentarily paused their game of billiards to acknowledge your arrival.
After a few exchanges of pleasantries and brief chatter about the island trip, you finally ask the question that’s been burning on your mind. “Where’s Jungkook?”
“Oh, he’s up in your room. He seemed a bit tired.” Namjoon answers. Your lips part slightly as you nod. “Okay then. I’ll go to him. You guys enjoy yourselves.” you say, offering a warm smile before hugging everyone. Turning on your heels, you exit the lounge and begin making your way towards the staircase.
Just when you're in the middle of ascending the stairs, a voice interrupts you. “Y/N!”
You glance over your shoulder at the sound of your name, only to see Namjoon trailing behind you, his steps hesitant. His expression holds something you can’t quite decipher, like he’s battling with his own thoughts.
“Joonie?” you say, your voice laced with curiosity and just a hint of concern as you watch him climb the stairs to meet you.
“Hey...” he breathes out, stopping a step below yours, his gaze briefly dropping to the floor before he looks at you. His hesitation sends a ripple of unease through you.
“What’s up, Joonie??” you ask gently, studying his face for clues. The slight tension in his shoulders, the way he exhales like he’s carrying a weight he’s unsure he should share, it all sets your nerves alight.
“Y/N…” he begins, pausing as if choosing his next words carefully. “I’ve been debating whether to tell you this, but…” He trails off, his hand raking through his hair in frustration. You take a step closer, your heart beginning to pound. “Joonie?? Is everything okay??"
He sighs deeply, the sound heavy and conflicted. “Well.. It’s about Jungkook...”
The mention of your boyfriend immediately tightens something in your chest. “What happened to Jungkook?” you ask quickly, your voice rising with worry.
Namjoon hesitates, his gaze searching yours. “He didn’t want me to tell you this... but…” He exhales sharply, shaking his head. “It doesn’t feel right to keep this from you. You should know.”
Your stomach churns, dread blooming in your chest. “Know what? What happened?” you ask again.
Namjoon looks away for a moment, as though gathering the courage to speak, before his eyes meet yours again. “It started at the bar… Wooyoung approached him. He said some things... about your past... about how your mom wanted... you and Wooyoung to get married.”
The words hit you like a punch to the gut, and for a moment, you can’t breathe.
Namjoon presses on, his voice tinged with anger. “But it didn’t stop there. Wooyoung’s friends... well.. they went after Jungkook. They trashed his cabin... broke his camera... spray-painted some cruel things on the wall.” He pauses, his jaw tightening.
“They did what?” you ask, disbelief dripping from your voice. This was the last thing you ever expected to hear. Your chest tightens painfully as the weight of Namjoon’s words settles in. Jungkook had endured all of this alone and you hadn’t had the slightest clue.
And of course, knowing him you understand why he didn't want this to reach you. And somehow that breaks your heart and fills you with guilt, especially because he found out about something you’d been carefully waiting for the right moment to tell him. The layers of emotions overwhelm you, each more suffocating than the last.
“Why... why was Wooyoung even on that cruise?” you ask, your voice rising with frustration now, the disbelief giving way to simmering anger. Namjoon raises his hands quickly in defense. “Hey, That's on Jin Hyung.” he says.
"But anyways, I really thought you should know this." His voice softens as he continues. “Jungkook seemed pretty shaken up by it, even though he tried not to show it. So… please, just take care of him.”
You nod, swallowing the lump in your throat. The gratitude you feel for Namjoon is momentary, overshadowed by the urgency now coursing through your veins. Without wasting another second, you turn on your heel and dash up the stairs, heading towards your room.
//
Jungkook smiles to himself as he rests on the pillow, scrolling through the videos you'd sent him over the past two days. His chest warms as he watches a clip of you playing with two cats on the island, your laughter echoing softly through the speaker.
The way your nose scrunches in delight makes his heart flutter, and he giggles quietly, his thumb hovering over the replay button. "Where are you?" he mutters under his breath with a wistful sigh, the corners of his lips still tugged into a smile.
And just like magic, the door to your room suddenly bursts open with a loud bang. He jumps slightly, his phone nearly slipping from his hand. Before he can even process your sudden arrival, you’re bolting towards him.
Jungkook barely has time to sit up straight before you fling yourself onto him, wrapping your arms around him with a ferocity that nearly knocks the breath out of his lungs.
“Baby—” he starts, his voice laced with confusion and concern, but you cut him off before he can finish. “I’m sorry.” The words tumble out of your mouth in a shaky breath, muffled as you bury your face into the crook of his neck.
Your hold on him tightens. “I’m sorry. Namjoon told me everything. I’m sorry about Wooyoung, I’m sorry about his friends, I’m sorry about your cabin, I’m sorry about your camera…” Your voice breaks slightly as you ramble, the guilt pouring out of you in waves.
Jungkook exhales deeply, and you feel the tension in his body ease as his arms come around you, his hands resting gently on your back. He holds you close, rubbing soothing circles against your spine.
“Is this how you’re going to greet me after spending two whole days in Jeju?” he teases, his voice light with humor, though you can hear the warmth beneath it. “What happened to ‘hi, hello, I missed you?’”
Despite the joking tone, the tender way Jungkook rubs your back anchors you. You pull back slightly, just enough to meet his gaze. There’s a softness in his eyes, a quiet warmth that seems to steady your unraveling thoughts.
“I’m really sorry, Kook.” you repeat, your voice trembling as you try to convey the depth of your regret.
He shakes his head gently, his hand leaving your back to tuck a loose strand of hair behind your ear. “Baby, why are you apologizing for something you had no control over?” he asks, his tone light but earnest. “You’re not responsible for what Wooyoung or his friends did.”
“I should’ve told you about him...” you admit, your voice low, almost wavering. “About us, our past… everything. I should've been honest.”
Jungkook doesn’t answer right away. Instead, he leans forward, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to your forehead. The simple gesture makes your chest tighten with emotion, grounding you in a way that words can’t.
When he pulls back, his gaze is steady but contemplative. “Baby...” he starts carefully, his voice softer now. “Can I ask you something?”
You nod instantly, your heart thudding. “Of course. Anything.” you say. He hesitates, the flicker of uncertainty in his eyes making your stomach churn. “Why didn’t you... why didn't ever you tell me about your family?” he asks at last, the question laced with a vulnerability that makes your chest ache.
Your breath hitches at the question, and for a moment, you feel exposed. But a part of you knew this was coming. You knew that hiding your life from Jungkook and then unveiling it all on a random Thursday would inevitably lead to this moment.
“It's just…” You pause, your voice wavering as you try to find the right words, your eyes searching his face for reassurance. “Kook, when we first met... you had no idea who I was or who my family was and... you were just so... so different from all the men I grew up with.”
Jungkook doesn’t say anything, his gaze steady, waiting for you to continue. Instead, you feel his grip tighten ever so slightly, his silent way of encouraging you to speak your truth.
“You were this bright, passionate man with these beautiful, expressive eyes and that gorgeous, dreamy smile...” you begin, your voice trembling as a fond smile tugs at your lips.
“And for the first time in forever, I felt like I could just… breathe around someone. With you, I didn’t have to be this polished or poised woman who had to fit into some high-class society mold. I didn’t have to pretend to be someone else... because being myself around you... was just... so easy, without having to worry about where I came from and who my family was.”
Your thumb gently traces over the faint scar on his cheek, a gesture so intimate it makes his heart jump. His gaze softens, melting into yours as if you're the only person in the world. “You just... liked me for me. Not because of my family, my connections, or my status, but because of who I was with you. You saw me... the real me... when I didn’t even know how to see myself.”
Your voice falters slightly, but you don’t look away, letting him see the emotion in your eyes. “I know it was selfish of me... but I... so badly wanted to hold on to that feeling... the feeling of being loved in a way that felt so… pure." you pause, a shallow breath escaping your lips.
" I just… I just I didn’t know how to tell you about that part of me...”
Jungkook listens intently, his expression softening even more as your words sink in. Slowly, he tugs you closer, pulling you into his warm embrace. You feel his heartbeat steady against your own, his presence grounding you in a way only he can.
“Baby...” he whispers, his voice low as his fingertips trail soothing patterns along your back. “For me, it’s always been you. It always will be you. None of that other stuff matters... your family, your status, your class... they’re just parts of you that I’ll embrace because they make up the woman I love. But beyond all that, I love you for you.”
His voice dips into something deeper, more vulnerable. “And I’m glad I could bring out the real you. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted, and it’s an honor to be able to experience that side of you." he hugs you tighter, before continuing.
"You have no idea how my world has changed ever since you entered it. You make everything... brighter and just... more bearable. You make it all make sense. So thank you for coming into my life. Thank you for trusting me with your heart.”
Your eyes well up as you close them, leaning into his embrace. The warmth of his words, paired with the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, feels like the safest place you’ve ever known. “Thank you for coming into my life too.” you breathe out, voice thick with emotion.
After a beat of silence, you pull back slightly. “But I’m still sorry about Wooyoung. I'm going to give him a piece of my mind, I swear—”
“Hey.” He cuts you off, a small chuckle escaping his lips as he shakes his head. “There’s no need for that. Let’s just forget it happened, okay?”
You pout, reluctant to let it go, but his soft, reassuring expression makes you falter. “Fine...” you huff, a sigh escaping your lips. “Still...” you murmur, your fingers absentmindedly playing with the hem of his collar. “I’m sorry, Kook. Thank you... for always being so understanding. I truly don’t deserve you.”
He shakes his head, the faintest hint of exasperation softened by the smile tugging at his lips. "You deserve the world, baby. And I’ll spend the rest of my life proving it to you.”
A soft giggle escapes you, the light in his eyes mirrored by the smile that refuses to leave your lips. “I love you.” you whisper, the words filled with every ounce of emotion you’ve been holding in.
His toothy smile, the one that always makes your heart flutter, breaks across his face. “I love you too.” he replies.
And just like that, as if drawn by an unspoken force, he leans in, capturing your lips with his. The warmth of his kiss washes over you, soothing every ache, every worry, and filling you with a certainty that everything is exactly as it’s meant to be.
//
"Do we get to eat them ??" Jungkook asks, leaning against the doorframe, his eyes following your reflection in the mirror as you brush your hair. A giggle escapes your lips at his eager tone. “Of course, baby. You can eat all of them if you want to.” you reply, shooting him a playful grin.
With the wedding just around the corner, the house is bustling with preparations, but today feels different. Your grandma insisted on gathering everyone to make dumplings for the rehearsal dinner that's coming up.
You and Jungkook make your way to the dining room, the air filled with the warm aroma of freshly prepared ingredients. The large table is the centerpiece of the room, and as soon as you step inside, the sight of your family fills you with comfort and joy.
Taehyung and Seokjin are already deep in their dumpling-making attempts, though it's clear they’ve caused more chaos than progress.
Both of them have flour smeared across their faces like war paint, a result of what must’ve been an enthusiastic but poorly thought-out experiment.
“Hyung, that dumpling looks like a deflated balloon.” Taehyung teases Seokjin, holding up his creation for comparison. Seokjin huffs, rolling his eyes. “At least mine isn’t oozing out stuffing like yours, Tae. What are you making? A dumpling that's throwing up?”
“Call it modern art, Hyung.” Taehyung retorts, grinning mischievously as he tosses a bit of flour at Seokjin, who gasps dramatically. “Yah! Taehyung, do you want me to dump this entire bowl of stuffing on your head?” Seokjin warns, clearly frustrated.
Across the table, Namjoon and Miyeon work with quiet precision, their movements synchronized like a well-rehearsed dance. Namjoon occasionally sneaks a glance at the chaos brewing between Taehyung and Seokjin, shaking his head with a fond smile.
“You two are worse than toddlers.” he quips, not looking up from his perfectly shaped dumpling. “At this rate, we're all gonna finish a hundred dumplings before you guys finish ten.”
Miyeon chuckles, her hands deftly sealing another dumpling. “Joon's right. How are you both so bad at this? It’s not rocket science.”
Taehyung gasps in mock offense. “Excuse me, babe, I don't know if you've noticed but Jin hyung is literally sabotaging me!” he exclaims. “I’m the one sabotaging you?” Seokjin laughs incredulously. “Look at my face, Tae. I look like a ghost, thanks to you!”
Namjoon’s mom, your favorite aunt, sits at the far end of the table as she rolls the dough into perfect circles, her laughter ringing like a bell.
“Boys, boys...” she interjects, her voice gentle but firm. “Stop fighting and focus on your dumplings. Otherwise, your future kids will hear stories about how their dads couldn’t make dumplings to save their lives.”
Everyone bursts out laughing at her comment, even Taehyung and Seokjin, who share a sheepish grin before returning to their task.
As you and Jungkook approach the group, everyone greets the two of you with warm smiles. Jungkook pulls out a chair for you to sit, earning a scrunch of your nose in fondness at the sweet gesture. After you’re settled, he takes the seat beside you, his hand instinctively finding yours under the table.
"So, I see Tae and Jin are already setting records... for failure...” you quip, your eyes gleaming with mischief as you glance at the disfigured dumplings piled in front of them. “Hey, those are Tae’s!” Seokjin protests, pushing forward another plate of equally disastrous dumplings. “Mine look way better, see?”
“Ah, yes.” you reply with mock solemnity, inspecting the plate. “Such fine craftsmanship. Truly an expert.” you giggle.
Everyone bursts into laughter and so does Jungkook, his eyes crinkling as he takes in the scene. He looks around, marveling at the tender warmth that surrounds your family.
“Okay, watch closely everyone...” you suddenly announce, picking up a perfect circle of dough. “The secret to making a good dumpling is love. And also, not being like Taehyung.” you grin.
“Hey!” Taehyung protests, earning another round of laughter. You press on, your tone turning exaggeratedly instructive.
“First, you scoop just the right amount of stuffing... not too much, or it’ll explode like Tae’s modern art pieces.” You hold up a small spoonful of filling, placing it precisely in the center of the dough. Jungkook observes your actions, a fond smile tugging at his lips.
“Next, you fold it in half, like you’re tucking it in for a nap. Be gentle, it’s delicate.”
Jungkook leans in closer, watching intently as your fingers press the edges together. “Then, you join the edges, like this... pinch... pinch... pinch.” you continue, your fingers deftly creating a neat, ruffled pattern. “Think of it as accessorizing your dumpling... it needs to be cute, you know?”
“Wow...” Jungkook murmurs, his voice full of awe. “You’re like the Michelangelo of dumplings.” he giggles. “Please.” you reply with a dramatic shrug. “I’m just a humble dumpling artist.”
Emboldened, Jungkook picks up his own piece of dough, determination written all over his face. “Alright, let me try. Scoop... fold.... pinch, pinch, pinch… done!” He holds up his quick creation triumphantly. You glance at it and press your lips together to stifle a laugh.
“Hmm....” you say, tilting your head. “Looks like your dumpling had a very long night.” you tease as the rest of the table laughs. “It’s rustic.” Jungkook counters, grinning despite himself. “Rustic indeed.” you tease, your laugh mingling with his.
As Jungkook continues fumbling with the dough, his brow furrowed in concentration, he glances around the lively table and decides to engage. “So, did you guys do this even as kids?” he asks, his voice light and curious as eyes dart between you, Taehyung and your cousins.
Before anyone can respond, the mood shifts. Your mother strides into the room, carrying a fresh tray of stuffing. Jungkook’s posture stiffens instinctively as her gaze briefly locks with his.
Her expression is impassive... polite on the surface but brimming with subtle tension. She sets the tray down and takes a seat directly across from the two of you, her movements precise and deliberate.
“Hi, Mama.” you greet warmly, your voice bright as you flash her a quick smile. She returns it with practiced ease but doesn’t linger, her attention quickly shifting to the task at hand. Her eyes flick to Jungkook, assessing him with a glance that’s colder than he’d prefer. He swallows hard, the discomfort settling in his chest like a heavy stone.
“It was more like we didn’t have a choice.” Namjoon pipes up, steering the conversation back to Jungkook’s question. His teasing tone earns chuckles from Seokjin and Taehyung, who nod in agreement.
“Exactly.” your aunt chimes in, shooting Namjoon an exaggerated glare. "We taught you, so you'd know the blood, sweat and tears it took to raise and feed you monkeys." she says as everyone laughs. Jungkook smiles faintly, grateful for the distraction, though the unease lingers.
The past few days at your family’s home had been a mix of warmth and tension for him. While the rest of your family had embraced him easily, your mother’s guarded demeanor made him feel like he was walking on eggshells. He’s done his best to stay out of her way, but now, sitting face-to-face, her disapproval is palpable.
“If we don’t pass down traditions like this, they’ll disappear.” your mother says suddenly, her voice cutting through the chatter. She folds the dough around a perfect mound of stuffing, her movements sharp and efficient. Without lifting her eyes from her work, she continues. “I’m sure you find all of this unusual.”
Her words hang heavy in the air, and Jungkook feels the weight of her unspoken judgment. “They don’t teach things like this in the West, do they?” she continues, finally meeting his gaze. Her eyes are cool, her tone sharp enough to draw blood.
The room falls silent, the cheerful chatter replaced by thick tension. Jungkook swallows, unsure how to respond while you shift in your seat, your breath hitching at the unwanted confrontation. Before you can step in, Seokjin's voice breaks the silence.
“Grandma!” he exclaims, leaping to his feet as your grandmother enters the room. He strides towards her with exaggerated enthusiasm, offering his arm. “You’re finally here!”
Grateful for the distraction, everyone rises to greet her respectfully. Her presence is like a balm, soothing the room’s strained energy. She smiles warmly, her eyes crinkling at the corners as she takes in the bustling scene.
“Y/N-ah...” she says, her gaze landing on you before shifting to Jungkook. “You brought Jungkook too.” Her smile widens as she inches closer to him, her hand lifting to cup his cheek gently. “Hello, sweetheart.” she says, her voice warm and affectionate.
Jungkook bows slightly, his lips curving into a polite smile. “Hello, Grandma.” he replies softly, the tension in his chest easing under her kind gaze.
As everyone settles back into their seats, your grandmother sits at the head of the table, near your mother, her sharp eyes scanning the dumplings in front of her. “Did you make those?” she asks lightly, a playful smile tugging at her lips.
Your mother forces out a stiff smile. “Yes, Ma.” she replies. “Hmm.” your grandmother hums thoughtfully, inspecting the dumplings more closely. “It seems you’ve lost your touch.” she adds.
Jungkook notices the way your mother’s jaw tightens, her forced smile barely hiding the undercurrent of irritation. “I’ll do better.” she replies, her voice taut, the words clipped as if forcing themselves out.
It’s a subtle moment, so fleeting it slips past everyone else in the room, including you. But Jungkook catches it. The way her fingers pause ever so slightly over the dumpling she’s shaping, the sharp edge in her tone... it all lingers in the air, faint yet telling.
Just as he processes what he’s seen, your mother’s gaze suddenly snaps up, meeting his. Jungkook’s eyes widen instinctively, caught off guard by her piercing stare. Her expression shifts in an instant, the forced warmth melting away to reveal a sour look that seems to pin him in place.
In that split second, Jungkook realizes... she knows he saw it.
Not wanting to overstep or make things worse he quickly averts his eyes, pretending to focus on the dumpling in his hands. He swallows hard, willing himself to appear unaffected, as though he hadn’t just witnessed the moment.
But the unease remains. He can feel her gaze lingering on him for a second longer before she looks away, her mask of politeness slipping back into place.
Jungkook exhales softly, his shoulders tight as he resumes his task. He glances at you, wondering if you’ve noticed anything, but you’re too engrossed in folding the dumplings to sense the silent exchange.
Still, the weight of your mother's reaction stays with him. For the first time, he wonders if your mother’s reservations aren’t just about him but about something deeper, something unresolved within her.
//
As Jungkook steps out of the dining room, the faint smell of flour and spices still clinging to his hands, he glances around, searching for the washroom. Despite having spent days at your house, he still finds the maze-like layout disorienting. The grand size of the place only adds to his sense of displacement.
He sighs in mild frustration, realizing he’s turned down the wrong hallway yet again. Just as he’s about to retrace his steps, he notices someone approaching from the other end. His stomach sinks slightly as he recognizes your mother.
She seems preoccupied as she carefully dusts her dress. Jungkook freezes instinctively, his smile faltering as she nears. Though he musters up a polite smile when she looks up, she doesn’t return it.
As the silence stretches and her gaze lingers on him, Jungkook decides to break the tension. “I’m…” he begins, clearing his throat nervously. “I’m a little lost.” he admits with an awkward laugh, gesturing vaguely towards the hallway behind him.
Your mother stops a few feet away, her arms crossed loosely. Her expression is unreadable, though Jungkook can feel the weight of her scrutiny. “This house can be... confusing.” she replies, her tone neutral but edged with something unspoken.
Jungkook nods quickly, eager to agree. “Yeah, definitely. I thought I had it figured out, but I keep ending up in the wrong place.” He chuckles softly, rubbing the back of his neck.
She studies him for a moment longer before sighing quietly. “The washroom is down that way.” she curtly says, pointing towards the opposite hall.
“Oh, okay. Thank you.” Jungkook says, his tone earnest. He hesitates for a moment, feeling the urge to say something more... something to break the wall between them. “Also... I… I just really wanted to thank you..." he starts and your mother's brows furrow, trying to understand where this is coming from.
Jungkook notices her confusion and decides to press on, his voice tentative yet earnest. “For, um… for letting me stay here. I know it can’t be easy, having someone new around. But I just… I really appreciate it.” he says, his words measured yet sincere.
She studies him for a moment, her gaze unreadable. Then, a faint, almost imperceptible smile curls one corner of her lips. “It isn’t easy.” she admits, her tone steady, though there’s an edge to it that makes him slightly uneasy.
“But, surprisingly…” she begins, stepping a little closer, her expression unreadable. “I see myself in you.” she says. Jungkook blinks, unsure how to respond. He waits, the weight of her words hanging in the air like a storm cloud.
“Y/N’s grandmother...” she continues, her voice calm. “She was never accepting of me. When Y/N’s father told her he wanted to marry me… well, let’s just say it was far from a warm approval.”
Her gaze locks onto Jungkook’s, her eyes sharp and unwavering. “I wasn’t her first choice. And, honestly...” she chuckles dryly, though the sound lacks humor. “I wasn’t her second either.”
Jungkook’s expression softens as understanding starts to dawn, the earlier interaction between her and your grandmother now making more sense. “Gosh… I’m so sorry. I had no idea.” he says quickly, his voice laced with genuine remorse.
She acknowledges his apology with a small smile, though her gaze remains cold, unyielding. “I didn’t come from the right family, didn’t have the right connections. To her, I wasn’t an adequate match for her son.” she explains.
“But… she eventually came around, right?” Jungkook asks cautiously, his tone tinged with hope. She exhales, the sound heavy with years of pent-up emotion.
“It took many years.” she admits, nodding faintly. “She had her reasons... valid ones, even. But I worked hard, sacrificed more than I ever thought I could. Eventually, she saw how much traditions and family mattered to me, and maybe that earned her respect. But...” she pauses, her faint smile turning somber. “There were many days when I wondered if I’d ever truly measure up.”
Jungkook listens intently, his chest tightening with a newfound appreciation for the struggles your mother seemed to have endured.
“And having lived through all of that...” she begins again, her voice lower now, each word carrying weight. “I know one thing for certain...”
She takes another step closer, her presence suddenly oppressive. Her smile twists into something darker, a faint smirk with a sharp edge that sends a shiver down Jungkook’s spine.
“You will never be enough.”

Introvert | Jeon Jungkook
Summary: Jungkook is an introvert. He enjoys seeing his friends, but he hates having to leave the house. When Jimin throws a birthday bash, Jungkook being one of his closest friends feels obligated to go. He has his whole night mapped out. He'll greet Jimin, eat some food and then leave once he's made small talk with the other guests. But when the party makes a detour and hits the club, Jungkook is plotting his escape route. Or at least he was until he met you.
word count: 2.8k
He didn’t like to go out much. Normally his friends had to drag him out of the house. He liked to do what any other person in their mid to late twenties enjoyed. He drank, he did karaoke, he enjoyed seeing his friends. But, he didn’t feel the need to do all of that outside of his house. Jungkook had quite the talent for making drinks, he had a karaoke system in his apartment. His place was the ultimate hangout. Normally his friends would agree and would end the night crashing on his couch after drinking, playing video games and just enjoying each other’s company.
But tonight was different. It was his friend Jimin’s birthday and his friend had been arranging for everyone to be able to make it to his party the past few weeks. It would start at a restaurant and end in a club. Jungkook had initially tried to get out of it. He didn’t like parties that would have a lot of people he wasn't familiar with. He didn’t like how loud the music was to the point that he couldn’t hear himself think. He was drained after a half hour under the club lights, yelling in his friends ears because there was no other way to communicate with the blaring sound of 2000s Timbaland beats or Drake songs.
To tell the truth, Jungkook was a bit introverted. He had his friends, and he did like hanging out with them. However, there were days where he was completely content with spending his time alone. Going to the gym, making himself something to eat, watching TV by himself. He never minded the silence. He knew he couldn’t be alone all of the time, which was exactly why he loved having his friends come over. He overall appreciated being able to be at his own apartment, in his own space and on his own terms. Out at a crowded restaurant or club, with not just his friends, but acquaintances of everyone else in his inner circle made him dread this upcoming Saturday night in particular.
So when he arrived at the restaurant, he took a deep breath in and out before he approached the front door. He scanned the restaurant looking for his friend’s table. All Jungkook had been told was that it would be a mix of people tonight. Obviously the core friend group, but also some of Jimin’s coworkers, other people he knew and of course his brother. Jungkook had met Jimin’s brothers a few times, but other than him and his three other friends, he didn’t know anyone else he’d be spending the rest of the night with. Jungkook was content with his small friend group, he didn’t want to talk to anyone else or make new connections. He wasn’t anti-social, just not interested in the aimless chit chat that came along with these social gatherings.
He greeted Jimin, doing a quick “bro hug” and handing him over the birthday gift he had wrapped for him. He sat next to Jimin's brother and by the time the food had been ordered and eaten and small talk was made, Jungkook started to feel a little restless. He wanted to go home but he knew it’d be rude to bail on his friend. So he sucked it up.
Everyone piled into various taxis as they all became pumped to head to the club. Jungkook groaned as he got up from his chair and followed everyone outside. One of his other friends Namjoon came up behind him and put his arm around Jungkook’s shoulder. “Cheer up man, just a few more hours and you can go back to your cave.” He chuckled as he nudged Jungkook playfully.
Jungkook rolled his eyes at Namjoon, allowing a small smile to overtake his features, knowing that Namjoon was just teasing him. But he was right, it would only be at worse, two more hours, then Jungkook was home free.
By the time all of the taxi’s arrived at the club, it was around 10pm. Jungkook was starting to feel a little tired, but was trying to stay alert. It was a small, dark, dingey club on the corner of the street, with the only benefit being the low admission fee for the 30 people coming from the birthday dinner for Jimin. Everyone lined up, all excited and talking amongst themselves as everyone started to slowly make their way past the bouncer and into the club. The music was loud and could probably be heard from down the street. And just as Jungkook had anticipated, the club was completely dark and was blasting a Drake song as everyone danced or piled into various corners of the club. Groups of girls trying to yell whatever they had to say to each other as they huddled in the corner near the doors. Guys sitting in booths, laughing as they downed their drinks. Then couples dancing, and of course, men trying to become couples by shooting their shots at the women standing alone.
Jungkook darted his eyes around the room, realizing that in the midst of him taking in his surroundings, he got separated from the rest of the group. He tried to look for a table or booth to retreat to. He would’ve stayed at the bar, but he wasn;t in the mood to be drinking so late considering that he had work in the morning. He moved quickly through the crowded club, looking for a place to sit and observe the crowd so he could look for his friends. And that’s where he saw a little stool near the far back. He made his way over and sat down, taking his phone out of his pocket so he could shoot his friends a text, asking where they were.
He scrolled on his phone for a few minutes before he noticed a pair of black heels were now standing to the side of him. He looked up and noticed a girl, looking a bit out of place. She seemed nervous, and had her arms folded over her chest defensively. She was biting her bottom lip, which made her look not just nervous, but tense too. Her eyes were scanning the room, seemingly looking for something or someone. He debated if he should say anything to her. For all Jungkook knew, maybe she wanted to be alone? Or maybe she needed help…
Jungkook cleared his throat, trying to catch her attention. The music was loud where they were situated, but at least it wasn’t blaring thanks to the fact that they were at the back of the club. The girl looked down at him, surprised to see him. She must’ve not noticed his presence when she came over here. “I don’t mean to bother you, but you look a little nervous? Is everything okay?” Jungkook questioned. She stared at him for a few seconds before responding.
“Um, yeah I’m good…” She looked down at her shoes and Jungkook nodded before going back on his phone. He didn’t believe her, but he didn’t want to pry considering the fact that they were strangers. He also didn’t want her to think he was another creep in a club who would hit on her when she looked vulnerable. But she caught his attention again when she started to speak, “You know what? Actually no, I’m not good at all.” Jungkook looked up in surprise at the sudden outburst coming from the stranger.
“Oh…Uh, do you want to talk about it?” He asked, patting on the stool next to him so she could sit down. She murmured a quick thank you as she settled into the seat and turned to face him.
“My friend had been begging me to go out with her to a club for weeks. I personally don’t necessarily like things like this. You know, clubs, parties, anything claustrophobic and overly social. I get so nervous and then because I’m nervous I get exhausted and by the time I get home from a party I feel like I ran a marathon. It’s just too much socializing.” She rambled on and Jungkook took notice of her eyes. How they went back and forth between looking at him, giving him her full attention, to then darting up at the ceiling. This would repeat over and over and he found it quite cute.
“I get what you mean, I like staying home.” Jungkook interjected, which in turn made her feel validated.
“Oh my god, someone gets it! I knew you looked trustworthy.” She cheered before going back to her story. “Anyways, my friend finally got me to agree to come here with her tonight. We got here a half hour ago. She spent a total of five minutes by my side before she took off with some random guy she met while at the bar. She won’t pick up her phone and she was my ride home. I’m just so angry, I would never have left her for a guy…I know I have to call a cab. The thing is, I just hate taking cabs alone, especially at night. This whole night was a mistake.” By now, the girl seemed to have tears in her eyes and Jungkook felt his heart start to ache at the site. Jungkook shook his head in disappointment over what he was hearing. He felt bad for this girl. She went out of her comfort zone for her friend, who in turn abandoned her.
“Do you want me to wait outside with you if you call a cab? Or maybe I can take the same one as you and you can get dropped off first?” Jungkook proposed which in turn allowed her to lift her head up from her hands and produce a small smile that painted her lips quite nicely.
“Would you do that? Thank you so much!" She sniffled as she gave him a tight squeeze which caught Jungkook off guard. He didn’t meet a lot of affectionate strangers. She seemed to notice how he became tense and pulled away quickly while giggling. “Sorry, I had a drink and I’m an emotional drunk.” Jungkook smiled at her as he stood up, holding out his hand for her.
“So what’s your name?” Jungkook said as he pulled out his phone again to call for a cab.
“Y/N, and what about you?” She responded back, tilting her head slightly as she waited for his answer.
“Jungkook.” He answered shortly. They made their way out of the club, with Jungkook completely forgetting about his friends by now. However, in Jungkook's defense, he wasn’t ditching them considering he was in a party of about 30 people. He was sure Jimin wouldn’t take it too personally that he’d left a little early, that is if he would notice Jungkook’s absence at all.
“Did you come here with anyone?” Y/N questioned as they leaned against the wall outside. Jungkook nodded.
“Yeah, I came here for a birthday party for a friend, but these big crowds aren’t really my thing. But I guess I’m glad I showed up because I was able to meet you and help you out.” Y/N smiled up at him, and she squeezed up against him as they maneuvered their way through the crowd. They were silent until they finally made it outside.
“Stop, you’re making me blush, I think it’s because I’m tipsy. Most guys I talk to are such assholes, I can't believe you're being so nice", she explained with a grin on her face as Jungkook laughed at her.
“How much did you drink?” He raised an eyebrow as he looked down at her. She looked upwards as she seemed to be thinking about it.
“I don’t know, a few sips of a vodka soda I think…” Upon hearing that, Jungkook was in hysterics as he kneeled over. “What!” She exclaimed, slapping his arm playfully.
“You don’t get drunk off of a few sips. Maybe tipsy. You’re just saying you're drunk as an excuse to hide your blushing and all your touchy feely hugs.” Y/N gasped at the accusation which in turn made Jungkook laugh again.
“Shut up! We just met and you’re trying to read me for filth. For shame Jungkook.” She teased and folded her arms over her chest again, this time putting on a fake angry face. Jungkook wiped the tears from his eyes before shaking his head in disbelief.
“Well all jokes aside, you need to ditch that sad excuse of a friend. That was a shitty thing she did to you.” Y/N tsked and nodded in agreement.
“I know, it just sucks because we’ve been friends for three years, I thought we were best friends. But you’re right, it was a shitty thing to do. Look-” She pulled out her phone and showed him her text exchange with her friend. “By now it’s been an hour and I’ve gotten no response. I called her, texted her and left three voicemails. And when we walked out, I was looking around for her and I couldn’t see her anywhere. I was hoping she might’ve still been in there, that maybe it was a misunderstanding but not that we’re standing out here…I don’t see her car. She definitely left without me.” She started to get teary eyed again and Jungkook sprang into action immediately. The last thing he wanted to see was her crying.
“You lost a deadbeat friend, but you gained a new one” He joked as he lifted her chin since her head was lowered, looking at her shoes again, letting tears fall. She chuckled at his joke as she wiped her eyes.
“Thank you Jungkook, you were really kind. I’m glad I met you tonight.” She praised as she looked up at him.
“Yeah…me too.” Jungkook said genuinely, still holding her chin up. There was something about Y/N. He found it fascinating how someone who from all accounts sounded like an introvert, could be so open with a complete stranger. But what was even more baffling was the fact that Jungkook found himself joking around with her like they were old friends or something. He just felt comfortable around her. The moment was interrupted as the cab pulled up. Jungkook snapped out of it by clearing his throat and opened the car door for her. They both slid into the cab and Jungkook asked for her address.
“Uh, there’ll be two stops tonight.” He gave Y/N’s address, then his own. He noticed how she seemed to tense up in the cab again. But they continued to talk to each other and joke around. Jungkook told Y/N all about his friend’s birthday party. About how he also wasn’t too keen on big gatherings and outings. Then they asked each other some questions about their backgrounds. That’s how they came to the revelation that they were from the same city.
By the time the cab stopped in front of Y/N’s apartment, Jungkook felt a little disappointed at how short the ride felt. Y/N shyly asked the driver how much her total was, but Jungkook shooed her money away and told the driver that he’d be paying for both rides. Y/N protested.
“No, no Jungkook, let me pay for this. You’ve done more than enough.” She pleaded as she put her hand on his. He swallowed hard as he looked down at the hands. Jungkook had to think of something fast. He knew that he wanted to see her again, but wondered how to ask for her number without sounding desperate. Who wasn’t sure if she was interested at all, maybe she was truly just a warm person who enjoyed to hug strangers? Maybe she was already in a relationship and just hadn’t mentioned it? Jungkook couldn’t help but think of all of the reasons he shouldn’t ask for her number. Rationalizing that maybe this girl was too good to be true. But before he could even make up his mind, it seemed like Y/N had done it for him.
“Ugh, fine, If you insist. But at least let me get your number so I can track you down and pay you back.” Jungkook grinned, his eyes wide and eager as he immediately started reciting his phone number. “Slow down, slow down!”, she giggled as she typed it into her phone. She sent a Hi over text and finally got out of the car. She gave her thanks to the driver again before leaning back into the car, which had the window rolled down and planted a kiss on Jungkook’s cheek. “Thank you so much for everything.” She whispered.
“No, thank you.” Jungkook responded back. She stepped aside as the cab pulled away. Jungkook watched her figure start to grow smaller as the distance between them became bigger. He leaned back in the seat once he couldn’t see her anymore. A permanent smirk on his face as he looked down at the text message on his phone.
Just then he received an influx of messages from his friends, to which Jungkook quickly responded back to. He explained how he decided to leave early and that he had met someone. His friends teased him and some of the messages made him laugh. They texted back how they needed details later, to which he didn't respond back to.
By the time he got home, he spent the rest of the night texting Y/N. And by the next weekend, they had spent all of Saturday together, in his apartment of course.
For Jungkook, the dreaded birthday party was one rare instance where he actually had fun going out and met someone special.
{A/N: Heyyyyy. Merry Christmas 🎄(if you celebrate it) since I'm posting this on Christmas Eve. I thought I'd write a fanfic to finish off 2024. oh my god i'm going feral. who wants to hear about a time-travel au concept where it's not you who travels back in time but bruce after he's discovered his neglect, his faults and mistakes? like he's given this opportunity to travel back when you were just newly born and he immediately books it and ran off to track your mother's location just so he could finally hold his baby, you, in his arms. for the first time in years, literal decades.
and he gets to carry you, the first ever child he's ever held as a toddler.
imagine he was transported back right after you've died (either by offing yourself, or by a villain before they could abduct you back into the manor) in the original timeline? the yandere element is definitely amplified. he'll make things right, all for your sake, he promises. he swears on his life that you're never going back to that old ditch, you'll never have to learn what pain is anymore. he'll have your mother in a loveless marriage, he'll amp up the baby-proofing, he'd do everything it takes to make sure you'll never experience what you had back then.
and when you're all grown up, you'll wonder why, just why your father treats you differently - his actions are desperate, they're calculated and there's some hidden meaning beneath all the intentions to spoil you, to protect you every time some form of danger targets you specifically and not your other siblings - from everyone else.
like, GOD the angst, the bottomless pit of guilt. does anyone wish to share this anguish with me 😭??? (i just thought of this idea for five seconds, out of the blue, and went along to write this for like 10 minutes or less).

emperor!gojo who likes pastries from a specific baker in the capital city, right outside of the palace. as his personal servant, you make weekly trips in order to satiate his sweet tooth. what he doesn't know is that after many years of being a regular at the same bakery, you've manage to become well acquainted with the baker's son, a charming young man who will soon take over the family business.
on this particular day, one of the fellow servant girls insists on accompanying you, and she's quick to notice the easy rapport between you and the baker’s son: the way his eyes linger on you just a bit too long and the way your laughter feels unguarded around his presence. at one point, the baker's son makes a casual remark, wondering aloud if your hand was available. your friend nearly bursts with excitement. romance is a rarity for servant girls, and the notion feels like something out of a tale.
when you return to the inner palace, your friend wastes no time spreading the story. whispers of your "budding romance” ripple through the servants’ quarters, carrying far more weight than you could have anticipated.
it eventually catches on to a tired gojo, white hair all disheveled, trudging through the palace halls after a long day of paperwork and negotiation. but exhaustion gave way to something much more crucial than life when a hushed conversation reached his ears—whispers about the only girl he'd ever had his eye on being promised to another.
he wastes no time, finding you in the quiet garden, tending to the chrysanthemums. his voice, usually so playful, was low and edged with steel.
"is it true?" he demanded, his steps heavy as he closed the distance between you.
you froze, unsure what he meant. "your majesty?"
gojo’s hands shot out, one bracing the wall behind you, the other gently tilting your chin up to meet his gaze. the closeness was scandalous, unthinkable, for a man and a woman– much less the emperor and his servant.
"don’t play coy with me," his voice is dangerously low. "i heard them talking. tell me it’s a lie. tell me you’re not leaving the palace. leaving me."
"leaving you?" you echoed, genuinely confused. "i’m not… your majesty, i don’t understand."
he leaned in closer, his breath brushing against your cheek. "promise me you’ll never marry" unless it is me, but the words go unsaid.
"your majesty—" you blinked, heat flooding your face. it was an outrageous demand, but if that was want he really wanted then...
"promise me," he interrupted, his tone an urgent whisper.
you swallowed hard, the weight of his words pressing into your chest. "i wasn’t planning on it," you admitted quietly. being raised in the imperial palace had robbed any dreams beyond its wall.
he exhaled sharply, almost a sigh of relief, and a ghost of his usual grin flickered across his face. "good," he murmured, stepping back at last. "because i won’t let anyone take you away."

↠ Song : Snowman by Sia
Winter had arrived. An icy serenade surrounds you yet the warmth of love is all you feel. An old Christmas movie plays in the background and the smell of home-baking permeates the air.
Comfort, peace and solace is all you feel right now.
“This years going to be different, I can feel it in my bones.”
“Guk, baby you say that every year.”
“No no, I’m sure about this one, you see I can feel it-
“In my bones.” You both say in sync, causing Jungkook to chuckle as he brings his hand to your jaw, moving your face towards him so he can kiss you.
His lips join yours in a soft, gentle manner.
Years have passed, but every time you and Jungkook kiss, you swear you feel the same butterflies that you felt when he kissed you for the first time after your third date outside the art gallery.
Magical. That’s how you’d describe kissing Jungkook.
His lips were warm, soft, and when they touched yours, there was no rush. Jungkook deepens the kiss ever so slightly, letting the pressure build with gentle insistence, the rhythm of the kiss calm but full of intention.
The two of you are lying on the couch, legs entangled under your daughter's blanket as you watch the fireplace emit sparks of warmth, bathing the wooden interior with golden hues.
“Eomma, appa!” A voice calls out, full of pride.
Areum.
4 years old and a bundle of joy. Your bundle of joy.
“Look, I fixed it!” Areum’s tiny and soft voice breaks the quiet. She jolts into the room, clutching the wooden reindeer ornament Jungkook had given her to paint earlier this morning. It had been her project all afternoon.
The reindeer was, to put it kindly, a riot of colour - blobs of red, green, and yellow mixing like a child’s dream of Christmas. One of its legs appeared a bit wobbly, but it stood proud, just like Areum did right now, her rosy cheeks flushed with pride.
Jungkook lets out a low whistle, sitting up slightly as the blanket slips down his chest. “Wow, princess, you really did that all by yourself, mhm?”
“Mm-hm!” Areum nodded vigorously, imitating her father. Her dark hair bounces as she hurries to place it on the small mantle above the fireplace.
You smile softly at your princess, watching Jungkook’s eyes glisten with adoration like a knight in shining armour. His role as a father suits him more than you could have ever imagined. The playful glint in his gaze softens into something so reverent every time Areum enters the room.
You know confidently that she is his whole world, as much as she is yours.
“Appa, is it good?” Areum’s wide eyes sought his approval.
“Good? Baby, it’s perfect, just like you,” Jungkook says warmly, reaching for her hand and pulling her into his lap. She lets out a giggle as he peppers her face with kisses, her tiny hands swatting at his cheeks playfully.
“Go easy on her, Guk,” you tease, leaning your head against the armrest of the couch as you tuck your legs under the blanket again.
Jungkook grins at you, Areum still squirming in his arms. “I’ll stop when she says ‘my appa is the best.’”
“My appa is the best!” she squeals, breaking into a fit of laughter and reaching to kiss her fathers cheek.
A Mini Jungkook indeed.
Satisfied, Jungkook sets her down gently, watching as she scurries off to grab another decoration. He leans back on the couch with a contented sigh, the blanket once again draped over the two of you.
“You know,” he begins, brushing a stray strand of hair from your face, “this is exactly what I needed. Just us. No schedules, no phone calls, no distractions.” His thumb traces the curve of your cheekbone as his chocolate brown eyes hold yours, the firelight dancing in its depth.
“I know,” you softly murmur, running your fingers over the back of his hand. “This year has been so… relentless? It’s nice to just breathe and soak in the silence.”
You both sigh, snuggling into one another despite being as close as humanly possible.
“Except when Areum remembers she has parents,” you chuckle, shaking your head in laughter as you see her ornament.
Jungkook’s lips twitch into a small smile. “Speaking of Areum interrupting our silence…” He shifts even closer, his voice dropping to that low tone he uses when he wants to get under your skin. “I’ve been thinking about adding another little someone to, you know, interrupt our quiet moments. What do you think?”
Your eyes flicker to him, your breath hitching at his boldness. You contemplate playing aloof, but your husband’s abruptness stops you. “Are you serious?”
Jungkook nods, the grin on his face unmistakably cheeky now. “I mean, we’ve been talking about it for a while. And look at Areum - she’s so ready to be a big sister. Aren’t you, princess?” he called out to her.
Areum looked up from where she was arranging ornaments on the small tree by the window, her brows furrowing in confusion. “Hmm, Appa?”
“Are you ready to be a big sister, my angel?” Jungkook questions her tenderly.
“What’s that?” Areum queries, curiosity etched into every feature of her face. “How do we get one?”
You stifle a laugh, your cheeks warming. “Don’t confuse her, Guk.”
But Jungkook was undeterred, his hand sliding under your sweater to rest on your hip beneath the blanket. “Just think about it,” he whispers, his lips brushing against your temple. “Another little one resting here with us next year. Maybe a boy this time… although I wouldn’t mind another girl if she’s as perfect as Areum.”
Your heart clenches at the thought. You could picture it so clearly—a tiny baby, smaller than a bag of sugar from the grocers, cradled in Jungkook’s strong arms, Areum’s careful hands reaching out to stroke a soft cheek and your hand clutching your heart at the scene. The cabin, filled with even more love than it already is.
“You’re impossible, you know that?” you say, turning to press a peck to his jaw.
“I’m just optimistic,” Jungkook counters, his dimples showing as he smiles down at you. “And we’d be so good at it, don’t you think?”
Before you could answer, Areum runs back over, throwing herself between the two of you with an exuberant laugh. “I found the star!”
The star.
Jungkook had promised Areum that when she finds his hidden star, he will help her put it on top of the already full tree. The things this man did to get a quiet moment with you…
“Eomma, can we put it on top of the tree now?”
“Of-”
“Of course, princess,” Jungkook interrupts, sweeping her up effortlessly and carrying her to the tree.
You laugh at the father daughter interaction. Maybe you did need another baby to keep you company.
You watch the two from the couch, your chest swelling with gratitude. The year had been chaotic to say the least, but this - this simple, intimate moment right here - was everything you’d ever yearned for.
Jungkook catches your eye as he lifts Areum high enough to place the star on the tree. He gives you a knowing wink, his silent promise clear: there was more love to come.
And maybe, just maybe, you were ready to embrace it.
After the tree was decorated to Areum’s satisfaction - every inch of its branches covered in her creative flair - Jungkook carried her upstairs to put her to bed.
You decided to stay downstairs, tidying up the remnants of her crafting supplies and rearranging a few of the more precariously placed ornaments. The cabin is even quieter now, save for the occasional creak of the wooden beams and the faint sound of Jungkook’s voice drifting from the upper floor.
He’s singing to her.
It’s something Jungkook has done since Areum was a baby, and the sound of his melodic voice humming a lullaby never fails to warm your heart.
You lean against the doorway, pausing to listen. His voice, smooth and honeyed, wraps around the melody like a cosy blanket.
You carry on clearing Areum’s toys away, wanting the place to be nice and tidy before Christmas Eve tomorrow.
When Jungkook finally comes downstairs, steps light and careful, his eyes meet yours. “Out like a light,” he whispers softly as though he’s scared to wake her, running a hand through his messy hair. “I barely made it through the second verse.”
“She always loves when you sing to her,” you pout, crossing the room to take his hand. “Just like me.”
Jungkook pulls you into his arms, your cheek pressing against his welcoming chest. “I think I’ve got some magic left tonight,” he whispers in a low voice, his lips brushing your hairline.
“Oh, do you now?” you taunt, tilting your head to look up at him. “What tricks you gonna show me?”
Jungkook smirks, leaning down to capture your lips. But, before he could do so, something catches both of your attention. A faint tapping sound comes from the large bay window at the front of the cabin.
Curious, you turn towards it, only to see that snow has begun falling in earnest. The flakes were large and fluffy, blanketing the world outside in pristine white.
Jungkook steps out of your embrace, walking to the window to get a better view.
“Jagi, it’s a Christmas miracle.”
“I can’t believe it,” you run to the window, happiness like that of a child.
Jungkook stands there for a moment, his broad shoulders outlined by the golden glow of the fireplace, before turning to you with a mischievous grin. “It’s perfect. Let’s go.”
“What? Now?” you exclaim, your brows lifting in surprise. “You’re fucking crazy!”
“Why not?” he said, holding out his hand. “It’s just us, remember? No one’s here to tell us we can’t.” Jungkook pulls a funny face which you can’t help but laugh at.
You hesitate for a second, but the gleam in his eye is irresistible. Laughing, you grab your woolly coat and leather knee-high boots, following him outside into the magical winter night.
The air is crisp and sharp, biting at your cheeks and nose, but the snow truly made everything feel softer, quieter, as if the world had been wrapped in cotton wool and there was no way out. The two of you stand on the small porch, the snow crunching underfoot, watching as the forest rapidly around you transforms into a winter wonderland.
Jungkook turns to you, his eyes sparkling. “Dance with me, jagi.”
You laugh again, shivering as he grabs your hands. “There’s no music, you idiot!”
“Sure there is,” he replies swiftly, stepping closer. “Listen. The wind, the snow, the quiet. That’s all the music we need.”
Jungkook begins to sway with you, his hands warm as they enveloped yours. The two of you move slowly, his body sheltering you from the cold. Snowflakes are caught in his dark hair, his nose reddening from the chill, but he looks as handsome as ever, his smile lighting up the night.
“This is what I meant,” he hushly says, voice low and intimate. “Just us. No rush, no noise. Just you, me, our princess, and moments like this.”
You move forward to rest your head on his chest, letting the quiet envelop you both in a warm hug. Jungkook’s arms tighten around you, his chin coming to rest on your head.
“I think you might be right,” you whisper, feeling the steady beat of his heart against your ear.
“Right? About what, love?”
“This year being different. It already feels like it is.”
Jungkook pulls back just enough to look at you, his eyes softening. “It’s different because we make it that way,” he reassures you, brushing his thumb along your jaw. “And we will keep making it better. Every year, every moment. Together.”
The snow continues to fall, and for a while, you simply stand there, swaying in the quietude, wrapped in each other’s arms. The world around you disappears, leaving only the two of you and the love that made every moment worth remembering.
Once the cold began to creep through your coats and boots, Jungkook insisted on pulling you back inside, laughing at the way your teeth chattered as you kicked off your snow-covered boots.
You now stand in the living area, shivering like a child in a cold cradle.
“I told you it was too cold,” you huff, trying to warm your hands with your breath.
“And I told you it was worth it,” he nonchalantly replies, tugging off his gloves and taking your icy hands in his. His larger palms envelop yours, the heat of his touch sending a shiver up your spine. “Better, baby?”
You nod, letting him guide you back to the couch.
Jungkook grabs the blanket you were sharing earlier, draping it over the two of you as you snuggle close, your body seeking the warmth radiating from him.
The fire crackles softly in the hearth, casting flickering shadows across the room. Jungkook reaches for the mug of hot chocolate he’d abandoned earlier, holding it to your lips for you to sip. The sweetness and warmth spread through your chest, and you sighed in contentment, leaning back into his embrace, inhaling his woody scent.
For a while, neither of you speak, simply basking in the serene silence and your comforting presence. Jungkook rests his chin on your shoulder, his arms circling your waist as you both gazed at the fire.
“Can I tell you something?” he asks quietly, breaking the silence.
“Of course, babe.”
Jungkook hesitates for a moment, his thumb absently tracing circles on your hip. “I meant what I said earlier, you know? About wanting another baby.”
You turn slightly to look at him, your brow lifting in curiosity. “Really?”
“Yes,” he says confidently, his eyes soft but steady. “Areum’s growing up so fast, and every time I see her smile or hear her laugh, I think… we made that. You and me. She’s this perfect little person, and I can’t help but think how amazing it would be to do it all over again.”
Your heart swells at his words, the sincerity in his voice making it impossible to brush off the idea. You’d talked about it in passing before, but the way he spoke now felt different.
Earnest. Hopeful. Loving.
“You make it sound so easy,” you chuckle, though your voice was softer than you intended.
Jungkook snickers, his breath warm against your neck. “I know it’s not. The sleepless nights, the mess, the chaos… but it’s worth it, isn’t it? Every bit of it. I mean, just look at what we’ve already got.”
Your gaze flicks to the staircase, where you could just imagine Areum fast asleep in her bed, her little chest rising and falling in perfect rhythm.
“You’re right,” you admit, turning back to him. “She’s the best thing we’ve ever done.”
Jungkook leans in, pressing a lingering kiss to your temple. “And we can do it again,” he murmurs, his lips brushing your skin. “If you’re ready, of course.”
Your eyes meet his, searching them for any trace of doubt, but there is none. Only love and unwavering belief in the life you’d built together.
A soft smile tugs at your lips. “Maybe,” you say, your tone playful but your heart already leaning towards yes. “We’ll see.”
Jungkook’s grin widens, the dimple in his cheek making an appearance. “That’s not a no.”
Jungkook’s persistence was truly admirable.
“It’s not a yes either,” you counter, however, you can’t stop yourself from laughing as Jungkook leans in to kiss you, his hands sliding up your back.
“You’ll come around,” he mutters against your lips, voice low and teasing. “You always do.”
“Don’t get ahead yourself, mister,” you chuckle as you move to wrap your arms around his neck, pulling him closer.
The fire crackles before you, its warmth matching the heat building between you.
Jungkook’s kisses deepen, his hands tighten their hold on you, and for a moment, the world fades again, leaving only the two of you in your little cocoon of love.
But then a soft cry breaks the moment, drifting down from upstairs.
“Eomma? Appa?”
You both freeze before pulling back with identical smiles, your foreheads pressed together.
“Think she had a dream,” Jungkook utters, his voice laced with affection.
“Your turn,” you whisper, nudging him gently.
Your husband groans in mock protest but stands fairly quickly, tossing the blanket aside. “Fine. But you owe me.”
“I think we’re even,” you tease, watching as he heads towards the stairs.
Jungkook pauses halfway up, turning to look back at you with a smile so warm it rivals the firelight. “We’ll pick up this conversation later.”
You laugh softly, pulling the blanket tighter around you as he disappears upstairs. The fire continues its steady crackle, and you lean back into the couch, your heart full as you listen to Jungkook’s soft voice comforting Areum.
It was in moments like this - simple, unassuming, and utterly filled with love - that you realised you’d already found everything you’d ever wanted. And maybe, just maybe, you were ready to grow it a little more.
The cabin is quiet again.
You hear Jungkook’s footsteps, soft, as he makes his way back down the stairs. Areum must have settled quite quickly.
You are still curled up on the couch, the firelight painting your skin with a warm glow as you scroll through TikTok.
Jungkook pauses at the end of the staircase, leaning on the banister for a moment, his eyes fixated on you.
“You’re staring,” you sing, your lips curving into a lazy smile.
“Can’t help it,” he replies, pushing off the banister and crossing the room to sit beside you. “I have the most beautiful wife in the world.”
“You always know what to say,” you taunt, resting your head against his shoulder as he pulls the blanket back over both of you.
His arm comes around you, his fingers idly tracing patterns on your arm. “What can I say? I’m a man in love.”
The two of you sit in comfortable silence for a while, scrolling through your FYP as the fire crackles softly, a contrast to the snow that continues to fall outside.
Jungkook’s hand never stops moving, his touch soothing and intimate, as if he needed to keep that connection to you at all times.
“You know,” he interrupts the silence eventually, voice deep, “when I first thought about taking you and Areum out here, I wasn’t sure if I’d done the right thing. It’s so… quiet.”
“Mhm?” You urge him to continue.
“Another part of me felt bad for leaving our family, but…” Jungkook pauses, trying to find the right words.
“It was exactly what we needed,” you finish his sentence for him, softly, nuzzling into his side.
“Yeah,” he agrees, his voice barely above a whisper. “I just didn’t realise how much I needed it too. Being here with you, with her… it’s like everything else has immediately faded. All that stress, the busyness, it just doesn’t matter anymore.”
You tilt your head up to look at him, your heart aching at the vulnerability in his expression. “Guk, you have worked so so hard for us. For everything. You deserve this time just as much as we do.”
Jungkook knew in that moment that you were his comforting love. The fort that comes in advance of danger. His protection before the need for that even arises. For you, he was the softest thing in the universe. There was a solace in feeling the goodness of your soul. You always carried a gentle certainty that Jungkook was born to absorb and accept love.
People had always told you, you were lucky to have Jungkook. But Jungkook knew, he was luckier to have you.
He meets your gaze, his dark eyes filled with gratitude and something deeper, something unspoken but understood. “You make it all worth it,” he says in simple words.
You smiled, leaning up to kiss him softly. His lips linger on yours, slow and tender, as if he were trying to pour everything he couldn’t say into that single moment.
When you pull back, his forehead rests against yours, his breath warm against your cheek. “I know I keep bringing it up, but… I really can’t stop thinking about another baby,” he whispers, his voice tinged with both hope and hesitation.
You laughed tenderly, your fingers brushing through his hair. “You’re persistent, I’ll give you that.”
“Only because I know how good we’d be at it,” he argues, a playful grin tugging at his lips. “And if I’m being honest, I’m kind of selfish. I want more moments like this. More little hands to hold, more giggles filling the house. And more time with you, building this life together.”
Your heart clench’s at his words, the integrity in his tone making it impossible to tease him this time.
“What if I said yes?” you ask quietly, your voice barely audible over the fire’s crackle. A newfound shyness came over you.
Jungkook’s breath hitches, his eyes widening slightly as he pulls back to look at you fully. “You mean it?”
You nod, a small smile playing on your lips. “I’ve been thinking about it too. And you’re right… Areum deserves to have a little partner in crime. And I…” You trail off, your cheeks warming under his intense gaze. “I think I’d love to see you holding another baby of ours. To see our family grow.”
The smile that spread across Jungkook’s face was brighter than anything you’d seen all night. He let out a breathless laugh, pulling you into his arms and holding you tightly. “You have no idea how happy that makes me,” he whispers against your hair.
You cackle, your arms wrapping around his neck. “I think I’ve got a pretty good idea.”
Jungkook pulls back just enough to cup your face in his hands, his thumbs brushing over your cheeks. “You’re incredible, you know that? I don’t deserve you.”
“Don’t be ridiculous,” you reply, swatting lightly at his chest. “If anything, I don’t deserve you.”
“We’ll just have to agree that we’re both pretty lucky,” he replies, leaning in to kiss you again.
This time, the kiss is deeper, filled with promises and excitement for the future you’d just agreed to build together. The fire burns low in the hearth, and outside, the snow continues to fall, blanketing the cabin in a hush that seemed to echo the love you shared.
When you finally pull apart, you settle back into his arms, the blanket cocooning you both.
“So… when should we start?” Jungkook asks, his voice light but laced with mischief.
You laugh, swatting at his chest again. “How about we enjoy the rest of this quiet night first?”
“Fair enough,” he says with a grin, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
As the fire’s glow dims and the snow piled high outside, you close your eyes, the steady rhythm of Jungkook’s heartbeat lulling you into a peaceful slumber. And though the night was quiet, your dreams were filled with the sound of tiny feet and laughter, and the warmth of a love that felt boundless.
It was now 1AM.
The two of you were awake again.
The cabin was silent save for the soft crackle of the flames. You were curled up on the couch, wrapped in the same blanket that had been your haven all evening, Jungkook’s arm draped lazily across your shoulders.
His fingers trailed absent patterns along your arm, the touch light but deliberate, sending tiny shivers over your skin. You lean further into him, sighing in contentment as your head rests against his chest.
“I love this,” you say softly, the words barely audible over the quiet.
“This?” he questions, his voice low and warm.
“Us,” you clarify, tilting your head to look up at him. “This moment. It feels… perfect.”
Jungkook’s lips quirk into a small, almost boyish smile as he leans down to kiss your forehead. “It’s because we are perfect,” he teases, his voice teasing but laced with sincerity.
You laugh softly, rolling your eyes. “Confident?”
“Always,” he replies, his hand moving to brush a strand of hair from your face. His fingers linger against your cheek, his gaze locking onto yours with an intensity that makes your breath catch.
The mood shifts subtly but unmistakably.
Jungkook’s hand slides down, his fingers grazing your jaw before settling at the nape of your neck. He leans in, his lips finding yours in a kiss that starts soft but quickly deepens, his other hand slipping around your waist to pull you inevitably closer.
The blanket falls slightly as you shift to become more comfortable in your husband’s embrace. Your hands find their way to Jungkook’s chest, feeling the steady thrum of his heartbeat beneath your palms. He groans softly against your plush lips, his fingers tightening their hold as he tilts his head to deepen the kiss further.
Kissing Jungkook always felt so poetic. In the emotions of his kisses, you could understand a language so passionate, it transcended the works of the greatest poets combined.
When your husband finally pulls back, his forehead rests against yours, his breathing slightly uneven. “I’ve been thinking about this all day,” he admits, his voice husky and low.
“Thinking about what?” you ask, though the heat in his gaze is leaving very little room for doubt.
Jungkook grins, his thumb brushing over your bottom lip. “About how much I want you.” He kisses your forehead.
“About how much I love you.” He kisses the tip of your nose.
“And…” He pauses, his lips curving into a playful smirk. “About how nice it would be to give Areum a little sibling.” Jungkook leans forward to capture your lips again, but you swiftly pull him back by his luscious brown tresses.
Your eyes widen slightly, caught off guard by his boldness. “Jungkook!” you laugh, swatting lightly at his chest, your cheeks warming at the suggestion.
“What?” he asks innocently, though his grin only widens. “I’m just reminding you that you said yes.”
“I-“
He cut you off with another kiss, this one slower, more deliberate. More urgent.
And when he pulls back, his lips brush against your ear as he whispers, “Maybe I can convince you tonight.”
Your heart races at the low, teasing tone of his voice. His hand slips beneath the hem of your sweater, his touch warm against your skin as he traces light patterns along your back.
“You’re crazy,” you whine, though your voice lacked any real protest.
Jungkook chuckles, his breath hot against your neck. “Only because I know how amazing we are together. And because I love the idea of us growing our little family.”
The sincerity in his words melts any resistance you might have had, and you find yourself leaning into him, your arms wrapping around his neck.
“You wanna start trying already?” you ask softly, your lips brushing against his.
Jungkook pulls back just enough to meet your gaze, his eyes filled with excitement and love. “Well, we shouldn’t waste any time.”
You laugh, your heart full as you let him guide you closer, his lips capturing yours once again. The fire burns low, its warmth nothing compared to the heat between the two of you.
“Let’s head upstairs,” Jungkook says as he pulls away. “I want to do this properly.”
You eyes soften as you nod. Preparing yourself for the night to stretch on, knowing it will be filled with whispered promises of love and … filth.
The bedroom is dimly lit, the only light coming from the crackling fire in the hearth and the glow of the Christmas lights strung around the bed. The air is warm, thanks to the fireplace, and is scented with the faint aroma of pine and cinnamon.
Jungkook sets you down on the ground gently, his hands lingering on your hips as he steps back to admire you. Your red sweater and matching skirt make you look like a holiday gift, and he couldn’t wait to unwrap you.
“Take it off,” he commands, voice calm yet husky. “Slowly.”
Your cheeks warm, but you obey, your hands moving to the hem of your sweater. You peel it off inch by inch, revealing the lacy black bra underneath.
The universe was on your side.
Jungkook’s eyes darken, his jaw tightening as he watches you. When you finally toss the sweater aside, his hands are on you again, thumbs brushing over the lace before slipping beneath it to cup your breasts.
“You look beautiful,” he declares, voice low yet you are still able to sense that it is thick with emotion.
A smile tugs at your lips as you glance up at him. Jungkook moves closer, lips brushing against your ear, sending shivers down your spine.
“So beautiful,” he whispers, his voice a velvety caress that makes your skin prickle with heat.
You laugh softly, leaning into him. “It feels like our first time all over again,” you say, heart racing.
“Does it?” he asks, although you know he isn’t looking for an answer.
The air between you and your husband is thick.
Thick with anticipation.
The low flicker of the fire casts a light shadow across his features as he looks at you like you’re the only thing in the world. One hand rests on your hip, his grip firm yet gentle, as he thumbs at the band of your lacy underwear. The other is wrapped around your waist, holding you close as though he’s scared you’re about to get away.
You gaze at one another with eyes full of love.
Jungkook is a drug. Your drug. One touch from him and the intoxication is instant. It always has been.
This man could tell you to do anything, absolutely anything, and that is exactly what you would do. His gaze, his scent, his everything sends you into a heady trance.
You guide his digits to your centre, your sticky core waiting for him. Jungkook rubs your soaked lacy underwear, groaning deeply as he takes in your wetness.
“And I thought it was just me who was excited,” he whispers in an indulging tone, voice rich with lust as he draws you closer with his free hand, lips finding yours. “Look at you, angel, you’re fucking drenched.”
You respond by pulling him closer by dark tendrils, capturing his lips against yours. The kiss starts slow, tender, but it doesn’t take long for the heat to intensify.
Jungkook’s hand slides up to cradle your jaw, angling your face as his lips move against yours, each kiss growing deeper, hungrier. Your fingers tangle in his soft strands as you tug gently, earning another low groan from your husband, vibrating against your mouth.
“Jungkook…” you whine between kisses, your body starting to need more.
Before you can say anything else, his hands are on your waist, lifting you effortlessly like you weigh absolutely nothing. Jungkook carries you to the bed, his lips never leaving yours, and when your back hits the mattress, the world tilts slightly.
You lock eyes for just a moment, just enough for you to feel safe with one another. And then? Then Jungkook is all business.
Pulling your underwear off, he begins by kissing from your toes upward, slowly, his hands on your legs, always inching just a little higher than the kisses he plants.
Your back arches in anticipation, knowing where his fingers will soon reach. And as he does, your head rocks against the fluffy pillow, the first moan escaping your lips.
Jungkook hovers above you, one knee pressing into the bed. His dark hair falls forward, brushing against your skin as he leans in, his lips trailing from your mouth to your jawline and then lower, pressing warm, open-mouthed kisses along the column of your neck.
“You’re so beautiful,” he murmurs, lips ghosting over your neck before pulling back slightly.
The mattress dips beneath his weight as he shifts, his free hand bracing beside your head. You feel the tension in his body - the strength in his arms as he hovers above you, the control in every deliberate movement - and it’s intoxicating.
Your hands roam down his back, tracing the lean muscles. The firelight casts golden shadows across his bare chest, highlighting every dip and curve, and for a moment, all you can do is stare.
He smirks, leaning down to kiss you again, his lips brushing yours as he teases, “See something you like?”
You roll your eyes, but your laughter catches in your throat as his mouth claims yours again. The kiss is hotter, slower, more deliberate, pulling you further under his spell. His hands explore every inch of you, mapping your body as though he’s determined to remember every detail, his touch setting your nerves alight.
“You’re irresistible,” Jungkook groans, the sound itself sending you into a deep spiral.
He bends down, his mouth capturing one nipple through the fabric, sucking gently until you arch into him, another moan escaping your lips, louder this time. Your hands tangle in his hair, pulling him closer as he lavishes attention on your other breast, his tongue darting out to tease the sensitive peak.
Arching into him, you massage his scalp and moan pleasurably as he prods at your nipple with his scandalous tongue. He fondles your other breast, kneading it which has you sighing out in bliss.
“Oh fuck, I love your tongue,” you whine gratifyingly whilst he continues his soft assault on your breast, sucking and tugging at your nipples lewdly. Your fingers inch further into his hair when you feel him jut his tongue out, licking around the soft area.
Jungkook moves to place kisses between the valley of your breasts, making his way further down your sexy body, still fondling your breasts delightly. You arch further into him, half-lidded gaze peering down at him, massaging his scalp whilst he perfectly nips at your smooth skin, ascending you to cloud nine.
Sighing out in sheer ecstasy, you tug Jungkook closer to you. His hand canvases down your body, cupping your soaked sex in his palm.
You let out a scandalised gasp, gut filling with heat.
“Always so fucking wet, princess,” Jungkook groans as he glides his two fingers through your tight cunt. You brace yourself on his broad shoulders, breathing heavily and Jungkook revels in each sultry sound that leaves your pretty mouth.
“J-just for you,” you manage to whimper out as his fingers skim around your battered mound. Jungkook begins to push your legs apart and releases a satisfied hum when he sees how soaked your cunt is for him.
Jungkook pulls back, winking at you before moving forward to kiss down your body. To where you need him most. His lips adorn every inch of your body and your core ignites when you feel him reach closer to your already naked sex.
Jungkook’s eyes locking onto yours as he reaches behind you to unclasp your bra. The garment falls, leaving you bare to his hungry gaze. His hands roam over your body, tracing every curve, every dip, while his lips replaced his fingers, kissing and nibbling along your collarbone, your shoulders, your throat.
“You’re mine,” he growls against your skin, his voice vibrating through you. “All mine.”
You shudder from the cold, now completely naked, your breath coming in shallow gasps as he hovers above you. His fingers trail down your stomach, stopping just above where you need him most. He glances up at you, his eyes gleaming with mischief before his fingers dipped lower, sliding through your folds.
“So wet for me,” he groans, voice dripping with possessiveness. He circles your clit once, twice, before delving inside you, his fingers thrusting deep as he continues to stroke your most sensitive spot.
Jungkook’s thumb was gentle yet insistent as he traced lazy circles around your clit, his touch sending shivers down your spine. You lay back against the plush pillows, your breath hitching as he leans over you, his dark eyes smoldering with desire. His lips brushes against your ear, his voice low and husky as he whispers, “Everyone will see you swollen and know I’ve fucked you.”
You moan, unable to form words as his fingers dip inside you, teasingly slow at first.
Jungkook watches your face intently, his thumb pressing against your clit in a rhythm that has you arching off the bed. “You’re so hot,” he murmurs, his voice dripping with approval. “So ready to be bred.”
His fingers move faster now, scissoring inside you while his mouth trailed kisses along your jawline. “Tell me,” he demands, his tone commanding yet laced with tenderness. “Tell me how much you want this.”
“Yes,” you gasp, your hips instinctively meeting his hand. “I want… I want you so bad.”
Jungkook chuckles softly, the sound vibrating against your skin. “Not just me,” he corrected, his voice growing deeper. “You want our baby. Tell me.”
Your heart pounds in your chest as the weight of his words settles over you. “I do,” you admit, voice trembling. “I want - oh, God ; I want everything with you.”
Jungkook’s eyes are coloured with a shade of satisfaction, as he adds in another one of his delicious fingers, satiating your ache for more.
You cry out, your hands gripping his shoulders as wave after wave of pleasure seeps through you. Jungkook’s free hand moves to your plump ass, squeezing roughly as his fingers pick up speed, plunging in and out of you with increasing urgency.
“Tell me,” he demands, his voice gruff. "Tell me who’s got you soaked."
“You,” you croon, your voice breaking. “I’m wet for you.”
At your words, he stands, lifting you once again and placing you on the edge of the mattress. His fingers leave your aching core, and you only hope it is replaced by his mouth, the image of his tongue lapping at you with fervor making you shudder.
You cry out his name, your back arching as he drives you closer and closer to the edge.
Jungkook moves his head in front of your cunt, breathing against it deeply, knowing the sensation of his hot breath would spur you on further.
And it certainly does.
You jerk rapidly as Jungkook places a kiss to your clit and your insides constrict, anticipating his next ministration.
“Can I eat you out?,” Jungkook huskily asks. He knows how tired you must be, so he ensures he’s safe to go ahead. Your chest swells with butterflies, in awe of how caring your husband is.
You move forward and cup his cheek, urging him to look towards you. You smile at him brightly, nodding your head and place a quick peck against his swollen lips.
Jungkook is quick to get back in position, paying attention to your leaking cunt again. He lifts your legs over his shoulders, letting them rest there daintily. You lean back, palms planted on the mattress beneath you as you savour the view before you.
Your sexy husband stands before you with his exposed, tanned and Apollo-sculpted body ready to devour you whole. Jungkook breathes against your folds and you quiver with arousal. His hands massage the inside of your thighs, calming your anticipation.
“My wife’s so pretty,” he whispers before moving to press a gentle kiss on your clit. You shudder at the sensitivity, bucking your hips into his face, yearning for more.
You run your fingers through his dark tresses, tightening your grip on his scalp. “Jungkook, pleasee,” you whine, arching into him more in the hopes that he’ll provide you with some form of relief.
“Patience baby,” Jungkook murmurs before jutting out the tip of his tongue and lightly tracing your nether lips. You squirm, moaning his name shamelessly and uttering soft pleas as you mentally pine for more contact from his skillful tongue. Jungkook feels more turned on as he hears you become more needy despite him not having done very much.
“I’ve got you, princess,” he growls before licking a long stripe from your entrance to your clit. He latches onto your quivering cunt, making out with it and sucking on your labia. Jungkook buries himself further as he gathers your slickness on his tongue. You mewl at the euphoric sensation his tongue supplies and he provides you with no mercy as he eats you up with his masterful tongue.
Bucking your hips closer to his face, you wordlessly beg for more and Jungkook abides almost immediately, lapping at your folds like a starved man. He flattens his tongue against your cunt, generously sucking on the pulsing bud. Jungkook groans at the sweet flavour of your juices that has you reeling for more.
He repeatedly licks up your slit shamelessly, tongue delving into you deeper and deeper as he cranes his own neck with no care in the world. He basks in the mess between your legs, chest swelling with pride as he realises it’s all for him. Only him.
“Fuck,” he moans into your cunt, “your pussy always tastes so good. Fucking missed this,” he says as if he hadn’t woken you up by eating you out this morning.
His large, tattooed hands fail to stay still. They move from holding your thighs apart to having a tight grip on your ass, pulling you further into him.
“L-love seeing your face between my thighs,” you manage to voice weakly.
“I know you do,” Jungkook replies whilst bringing his thumb to rub against your aching clit. You rut your hips in his face, head falling back as the pleasure washes over you.
“Jungkoook, fuckk.”
He buries himself closer into your pulsing folds, nose burrowed deep within. Your hips develop a mind of their own and you begin to grind against his face, practically riding it. Jungkook hums satisfyingly as he moves his hands to rest on your ass again. He probes you forward and rocks your hips back and forth against his face making you grab a fistful of his hair, earning a slight hiss from him.
His hooded eyes meet your own and you send a lazy smirk his way as you rut your hips against his face. Your wetness from riding his nose, chin and tongue glistens on his skin which somehow turns you on more.
“Ahh shit,” you cry out, internally thanking the Heavens above that your cabin is located in a secluded area. You only hope Areum doesn’t wake up.
Whilst you continue to ride his face, Jungkook licks up and around your folds ravenously and his fingers bore into the meat of your ass.
He angles himself better and secures his lips down around your mound, dragging his tongue around until he latches onto your sensitive clit again. You moan lewdly and lurch when you feel Jungkook press his devious tongue against your throbbing bud.
“I’m gonna come!” You cry out, riding his face at a faster pace and your grip on his hair becoming tighter. Jungkook suckles your clit, tongue running through your folds, providing you with eons of paradisiacal pleasure. He shoves his face deeper into your cunt, violently capturing it with his plush, swollen lips and his grasp on you becomes harder.
You feel him smirk against you before he brings those bunny teeth of his and bites down on your clit. Your body jolts at the impact, but still manages to send hot, orgasmic spikes of arousal through your veins.
“Oh fuck,” you sharply moan, the need to come undone too prominent now.
“Come for me, angel,” he coos at you, hands moving to soothe your lower back. His dulcet voice does it for you and you feel your orgasm wash over you vigorously. Your hips grind against your husband's stupidly handsome face and he laps at your palpitating pussy.
Your mind spins and stomach bubbles as you come down from your high. Jungkook continues his assault, lapping at thecum that stains your cunt before he pulls away. You meet his desperate eyes, shimmering lips and a scandalous grin as he pants harshly.
You beckon him to you eagerly, hands growing taxed as you reach for his sweaty neck and pull him in for an all too chaste kiss. Smothering your mouth with his, you groan as you taste your essence on his enticing lips.
You devour his mouth, nibbling at his plump lower lip.
“God, you’re so fucking perfect.”
You chuckle at him simping over you once again, tugging him closer. Your legs immediately wrap around his waist and continue to mouth at him languidly, tongues tangling together.
Jungkook smiles against you, gushing at your sudden boldness. He runs his hand up and down the expanse of your back, gleefully continuing to make out with you.
But he isn’t done yet. When you were teetering on the brink, Jungkook pulls away, standing and stripping off his own clothes in seconds. His cock is hard and throbbing, and you can’t help but reach for him, your fingers curling around his length.
“Not yet,” he growls, stepping back. Jungkook positions himself between your legs, aligning himself with your entrance.
“Look at me,” he commands, his eyes boring into yours. “I’m fucking you full of my cum tonight.”
With that, he thrust inside you, filling you completely. You cry out, your nails digging into his shoulders as he claims you, his hips snapping forward with brutal precision. Every thrust is deliberate, every movement calculated to bring you both to the edge.
Jungkook’s hands grips your thighs, holding you steady as he pounds into you. “Fuck, you feel so good,” he moans, voice ragged. “Always so tight and ready for her husband.”
You cling to him, legs wrapping around his slim waist as you meet every thrust, your bodies moving as one. The tension between you is electric, crackling in the air as you both race toward release.
Then, without warning, Jungkook pulls out, flipping you onto your back and positioning himself between your legs once more. He grabs hold of your hips, lifting you slightly before slamming back into you.
“Ride me,” he demands with his sultry voice.
“Jungkook!” you cry, your hips rising to meet his, your body instinctively obeying his command. You shift your position, your core contracting around him as you take control, riding him with everything you had.
“Jungkook, you fuck me so good.”
“I know baby, I know,” he says, almost condescendingly.
Jungkook’s hands grips your hips firmly, his fingers digging into your skin as he guides you with precision. You feel the intensity of his desire in every movement, his breath hot against your ear as he whispers, “Ride your husband’s dick like you mean it.” His voice is low, almost a growl, sending shivers down your spine.
You obey without hesitation, rising slowly at first, the sensation of him inside you igniting a fire that spreads through your core. Your breasts bounce gently with each upward motion, the weight of them reminding you of how close you both are to this shared dream.
Jungkook’s eyes never leave yours, his dark irises locked onto your gaze as if he can see straight into your soul. There is no doubt that he probably could.
“Faster,” he urges, his hand moving from your hip to your thigh, encouraging you to pick up the pace. You comply, drawing in a sharp breath as your body adjusted to the rhythm.
The room is quiet except for the sound of your bodies colliding, the slap of flesh against flesh echoing softly. Jungkook’s other hand finds your breast, kneading it roughly as his thumb brushed across your nipple, sending electric shocks through your system.
“Do you feel how ready you are for me?” he murmurs, his voice dripping with possessive heat. “Your body is perfect, so wet, so tight for me.” His words sent a wave of pleasure crashing over you, and you can’t help but moan loudly, your head falling back as you surrender to the sensations.
Jungkook takes advantage of your distracted state, shifting his hold on you and flipping you onto your back once more. His chest pressed against yours, his weight grounding you as he begins to thrust deeply, each movement deliberate and unrelenting.
“Tell me you want this,” he demands, his lips brushing against your ear as he speaks. “Tell me you want my baby.”
The intensity of his question catches you off guard, but the truth is already bubbling up from deep within you. “Yes,” you whine, clutching at his shoulders as his thrusts grow more urgent. “I want you, I want this… want us.”
His response is rough, hips snapping forward as he drives into you with renewed vigor. “Good girl,” he praises, his voice thick with arousal.
“So good for me.” He reaches between you, his fingers finding your clit and rubbing in circles that synced perfectly with his movements.
You cry out, your body arching off the bed as the pleasure builds higher and higher. Jungkook’s hand moves again, this time slipping lower, two fingers pressing into you alongside his cock. “God, you’re so wet for me,” he notes, voice strained. “So ready to become a mother again.”
The combination of his fingers and his cock was overwhelming, every nerve ending in your body lighting up like a firework. You can feel the orgasm building, closer and closer until there is no holding it back.
“Jungkook!” you scream his name, your body convulsing around him as you come, stars bursting behind your closed eyelids.
He doesn’t stop, not even for a second. If anything, his movements become more intense, his breathing ragged as he chases his own release. “Stay with me, baby,” he commanded, his voice gravelly. “Don’t let go yet.”
You cling to him, your legs wrapping tighter around his waist as he continues to pound into you, his fingers still working their magic. “Almost there,” he grunts, his thrusts becoming erratic as he nears his climax. “Almost…”
And then he freezes, his body tensing as he comes inside you with a deep groan, his seed spilling into you with an urgency that betrays his desperation to make this moment real. “Mine,” he says roughly, voice breaking as he collapses onto you, his breathing heavy.
For a long moment, neither of you speak, the only sound heard is the rapid beating of your combined hearts.
Jungkook’s lips find yours, kissing you deeply as if sealing the promise they had just made.
“This is just the beginning,” he whispers against your lips, his voice filled with conviction.
“Our family starts here,” Jungkook affirms, caressing your hips softly.
The morning sun crept over the horizon, its golden rays slipping through the cabin’s frosted windows and telling you a story that today will be a perfect day.
You stir first, the soft glow coaxing you from the cocoon of blankets. Jungkook is still fast asleep beside you, his face relaxed in a way that makes your heart swell. His hair was tousled, his lips slightly parted, one arm flung protectively over your waist as if even in sleep, he couldn’t bear to let you go.
Careful not to wake him, you shift slightly, your gaze falling on the fireplace across the room. The embers had long since died, leaving a bed of ash that glowed faintly in the morning light. Outside, the snow glittered like diamonds, untouched and pristine.
Last night replays in your mind, every whispered word and shared touch lingering like a secret promise. A soft blush warms your cheeks as you rest a hand on your stomach, wondering, hoping.
Before your thoughts spiral further, Jungkook groans beside you, his arm tightening around you as his eyes flutter open. He blinks a few times, his face slowly breaking into a sleepy smile as he finds you watching him.
“Morning,” he sighs, his voice rough with sleep.
“Morning, baby,” you respond, brushing a strand of hair from his face and leaning in to kiss his forehead.
Jungkook leans into your touch, his eyes fluttering closed again for a brief moment. “You’re glowing,” he says softly, cracking one eye open to peek at you.
You chuckle, shaking your head. “You always say that.”
“Because it’s always true,” Jungkook pronounces confidently, pulling you closer until your foreheads touch. “Last night…” His voice trails off, a grin spreading across his face. “Let’s just say I think we’ve got good odds.”
Your stomach turns at the memory of Jungkook fucking you so intensely. You’d been at it most of the night, Jungkook wanting to try as many positions as possible. Your husband's stamina was as high as the chances of you being pregnant already.
“Confident, are we?” you tease, though your heart is still skipping at the thought.
“With you? Always.”
The two of you lay there for a while longer, wrapped up in each other and the promise of what was to come. Eventually, the sound of tiny feet padding down the stairs broke the peaceful quiet.
“Eomma!” Areum’s voice calls out, bright and cheerful.
Jungkook groans dramatically, burying his face in your neck. “She’s too good at waking up early,” he mumbles, making you laugh. “I thought I might be lucky enough to have you ride me into being fully awake.”
“Come on,” you chuckle, nudging him playfully. “I’ll ride you later.”
With a sigh and a mumble of ‘you better’, Jungkook rolls out of bed, grabbing a pair of fresh boxers from the open suitcase and tossing his hoodie to you.
“Get it on, we don’t need to show her our anatomy just yet.”
You chuckle, quickly slip the hoodie over your head, before padding out to meet Areum, who stands at the bottom of the stairs clutching her favourite stuffed bunny.
“There’s snow everywhere!” she exclaims, her eyes wide with excitement.
“I know, princess,” Jungkook brightly says, scooping her up into his arms. “Maybe after breakfast, we can go outside and build the biggest snowman you’ve ever seen.”
“Really?” Areum’s face lit up, her joy infectious. “Bigger than the one at yoonie samchon’s house?”
“Of course,” he replies, pressing a kiss to her temple. “Ours will be much better.”
That competitive streak will never die.
You watch them with a soft smile, the sight of Jungkook cradling her so naturally makes your heart ache in the best way.
“Eomma, you’ll help too, right?” Areum asks, turning her bright eyes on you as she finally notices your presence.
“Of course,” you warmly respond, reaching out to take her into your arms. “I wouldn’t miss it.”
As the three of you settle into the kitchen, the smell of fresh coffee and pancakes filling the air. A quiet sense of peace lingers and you feel whole.
Jungkook catches your eye over the rim of his coffee mug, his lips quirking into a small, knowing smile. He didn't say anything, but he didn’t need to. You knew. You always did.
Whatever the future held, whatever new adventures or challenges lay ahead, you knew you’d face them together.
And maybe, just maybe, there was already a tiny spark of new life waiting to join your little family.
A Quiet Christmas was exactly what you needed.
You reach for your phone, capturing a photo of your husband and Areum scrunching their noses as they laugh at one another.
The photo is quick to make it to your instagram, with a sweet caption that summarises it all.

there was a moment in which you really thought nothing could happen to worsen it. life with arranged!gojo was truly perfect, and you couldn’t imagine anything but.
nights were spent either each other, skin to skin, shading the warmth. mornings came and he’d awake before you, pulling you closer to his chest as he nudged his nose against your ears. sometimes you’d grumble about it, other times you’d laugh softly. gojo wasn’t what you imagined he’d be like, but it’s nothing to complain about.
when he wasn’t busy, or if he made time, he’d take you out to the forest on horseback as he listened to you speak. other times he’d take you to different bakeries, asking which one you’d prefer. you could feel his anxious stare, hoping that you were enjoying your time. you’d always smile back and assure him you were.
it had been months sense everything had worked out, and truly you couldn’t be happier. though the rumors and gossip never stopped, you just stopped caring about them. after all, people could say all they wanted, but they could never be as happy as you were and that’s all that mattered.
on the days when he’s with his advisors and counselor members you’d go to the village or find something to do around the estate, but every night he’d find his way back to you and so you never worried.
except for now.
you were aware he had a longer meeting than usual today, but with your anxious pacing around your shared bedroom, fidgeting with your ring as your eyes never left the grandfather clock, about to strike one in the morning. this was strange.
you had tried going to sleep, but you awoke in only half an hour to see that your husband had still not returned, and this put you in an even worser headspace.
gojo had assured you that nothing was wrong, but there had been strange chatter around the estate walls this past week that you couldn’t shake off. maids sparing worried glances to you whenever you passed. it was common knowledge that they were the ones that knew the gossip first, but you so desperately wished to know it now.
it took nearly another hour of your frantic effort to stay awake when your bedroom door creaked open and gojo walked in.
you stood up anxiously from the corner of your bed, taking in his tired appearance. his white hair was messy, eyes sunken in. when he saw that you were awake his glare softened slightly.
“you’re not asleep?” he groggily asked as he began to take off his boots, his back rippling with muscles from under his tunic as you gnawed on your lips and he stood up.
“couldn’t,” you simply said, leaning into his outstretched arms as he pulled you into his chest, planting a longing kiss to the side of your head. one of his hands pressed tightly against your back, not moving.
there was a moment of silence, one heavy and unknown as you listened to the sound of his heartbeat.
“is everything alright?” your voice was muffled, but still audible, as you finally asked the question that was searing into your head.
there was another beat of silence, but this one was uncomfortable. gojo hadn’t let go of you yet.
“yes,” he finally said, but you had heard better lies from your sisters after they ate your pastures and said they didn’t than this.
your brows furrowed as you looked up to him.
“what took so long?” you pressed, pulling away slightly as his lips formed into a thin line, and he dragged a hand down his face.
“just…state affairs,” he turned away from you, against eye contact as he ran another hand through his hair.
you scoffed, rolling your eyes as you crossed your arms over your chest. you thought that he had at least begun to trust you enough not to lie this blatantly.
“have ogres come back from extinction?” you tried to tease, but your voice was flat and you couldn’t hide the curiosity and hurt behind it. gojo didn’t laugh, which hurt even more. you leaned back on one of the pillars of your bed and watched as he stood with his back to you , contemplating something in utter silence.
how you loathed silence.
“what’s wrong?” you ask again, your tone heavy.
your brows furrowed even more, arms tighter around your middle as he heaved a heavy breath, and when he finally tuned you wished he would’ve just stayed hidden from you. because there were spots of red in the whites of his shimmering eyes, and that was more fearful than the quite.
you tilt your head, not knowing what to do, and see his breath in shakily. the only time you had seen him cry was that night he confessed to you in the field. never again. not until now.
you take a tentative step forward, eyes searching his but he can’t bare to look at you.
“there’s been some conflict with the south for a while,” gojo finally says, though it seems like speaking is physically hurting him, “and tensions only worsened when my father stepped down.”
you nod, knowing all of this. after all, you might’ve been kept in the shadows in your old life, but you weren’t daft. you tried to keep up with the relations of the state as much as possible.
“before i married you…i,” he squeezed his eyes shut, breathing deeply, “my father had made a agreement for me to marry the southern princess to mend our relationship,”
this you knew too. but you’re hoping that all your knowledge was just trivia and nothing that was serious.
you knew of the women gojo had lined up, but in his favor and not. the southern princess being one of them.
“so?” you shake your head in confusion, stomach churning, “you’re married to me now.” you say the obvious, but you see the way he smiles softly at that, nodding.
“it worked out for us but the south wasn’t fond of…this,” you watch as he twirls his ring around, “they’ve been holding off on trade with the north and anybody who’s pledged alliance to us.” gojo jams his palms into a his eyes. for a moment he doesn’t look like the ruler he is or the warrior he’s always been but a scared boy who doesn’t know what to do.
you take another step forward, leaning into him as he deflates into you, one hand protectively going around your shoulders and the other around your waist.
“we’ll figure this out,” you say as confidently as you can, “we’ll ask for a smaller cut of their exports than usual….or offer another northerner of higher ranking northern men for their princess,” you offer, looking up at him only to see his eyes wavering, the tip of his nose pink.
he swallows thickly.
“we did,” he mutters, “we did all of those things. all of those things and more. but…”
he trails off and you shake your head, eyes wide.
“but what?” you press and he rubs at his eyes, at his stray tears.
he goes to open his kith but he can’t. you’ve never seen him like this. you feel tears coming but you don’t know why.
“the southern king, he,” your husbands voice cracks, and you pull away in shock, in fear, in terror as he tries to control a sob. the most feared man of all the land fighting down a sob, and all you could do was watch in fear.
“he’s promised war if we don’t abide by his terms.”
your own tears have stung at your eyes, maybe because your terrified of the response, making because a part of you knew that something good like this could only last for so long.
“and,” your lips tremble and how gojo longs to kiss it away, if only his hands weren’t shaking and heart pounding, “and what are his terms?”
a sad, sad look takes over his face, one that looks like a knife has been dug into his stomach and has begun to twist. he opens his kith once, twice, and fails. he can’t speak. he can’t say the wretched words out loud.
“that,” a tear streaks down his cheek, hanging on his chin, “that i uphold by the initial promise. that i marry his daughter. that i separate from…” he blinks slowly, his mouth closing and then opening, a little gasp of horror leaving your own lips as you piece together his final words,
“that i separate from you.”

I know murdering all of the CEOs of all the evil corporations won't solve capitalism, but I don't think it would hurt either. Maybe we should try killing a few more, just to see what happens

Yesterday my conservative parents were Shocked and Horrified that the UHC CEO was murdered. Thoughts and prayers etc. I couldn’t make a single joke. It wouldn’t have gone over well. Tragic
Tonight my folks were ranting about how their new insurance denied my dad one medication unless he tried another medication first, then denied that medication because his recent blood tests indicated he didn’t need any medication, never mind that this a direct result of my dad being on the original medication for years
So I chimed in “kinda makes sense that someone went and 86’d the United guy, huh”
And I got to watch the wheels spin in his head for a few seconds before scoffing and saying “yeah. Guess it does”
Seeds are being planted!

Concepts like sex magic and fertility deities in fantasy are actually really interesting to me as a person with a lot of interest in anthropology and mythology like Yes I am curious about the weird sex that elves have but its pretty much exclusively explored by authors who are Weird Horny Dudes and forget about putting that stuff into a d&d campaign

Coming back to my love
Rengoku x f!reader|Fluff, angst fic
A/n: Since I can't accept his death, that's I decided to recreate a scenario where he fights against Akaza but here he survives. He'll never be death for me.
Tw: mentions of blood, violence, wounds and suggestive content (mentions of nsfw)
◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇
You didn't accept that. There was no way you would let him go. Of all the missions he had done before, this was definitely the one that scared you the most. You couldn't explain why, but it was as if a strange sensation ran through his body just thinking about it. Rengoku was a hashira with a natural talent and was very skilled at what he did, but you were so confuse and ended up ignored all that. He had already put you at ease and assured you that he would come back to you no matter what happened or how injured he got.
"Everything will be fine, you just have to trust me, my love." The flame hahira held your face with his warm hands
"No Kyo, I don't think you should go. I feel something dangerous." You looked down, feeling the fear on your heart again
"All missions are dangerous but I am strong. I will survive and I will protect everyone who goes with me and then I will come back to your arms." He said, bringing his face closer to yours until his forehead was touching yours
"Do you really have to go?"
"Yes, I was called for this. It is my duty as the flame Hashira. You understand that too, right?"
"Yeah...I do, my love." You spoke in a melancholic and reluctant voice. "But still--"
"Shhh." His finger went to your lips, silencing you. "It's alright, don't worry. Let me comfort you, okay?" He whispered with a gentle smile that softened your heart
And he did, he always did. When you cried, he hugged you and promised that everything would be okay, and it does. And when you laughed, he made you laugh even more because your smile was what motivated him and what was most valuable to him.
He loved you and loved you very much. And all those he loved, he protected with his own life.
He laid you down on the mattress, getting on top of you, covering your entire figure. His warmth comforted you so much, his big, bright and captivating eyes analyzed all of your naked and sweaty skin, memorizing your every expression, every corner of yours.
He leaned in so his face was close to yours, your panting breaths mingling before he kissed you passionately. Your hands ran through his yellow and red hair as the slowness of his lips dominated you.
"I love you." He whispered against your lips
"Kyo, please..." You whimpered, feeling a little tear run down your face. "Stay with me, don't go..." You hugged him, placing his head in the crook of your neck
You hugged him so tight as if you wanted to keep him there forever, as if you didn't want him to leave.
You weren't as strong as him and you didn't have his willpower either, but you would do anything, anything it took to protect him and keep him safe. He would do the same for you without thinking twice, you just wanted to return the favor to him.
"I'll go, but I'm coming back to your arms..." He whispered, breathlessly, in your ear. "To the arms of my love. My only love."
You sniffled and sob at his words. Rengoku left the crook of your neck and wiped your tears with his thumb and planted a few kisses on your lips and then kissed your forehead. The way he cared for you was special. It was gentle and sweet.
The next morning was a little calmer, but there was still some uncertainty and fear on your part. You went down to eat the breakfast he had made while you were sleeping. He wanted to return the favor of when you made food for him to take on missions. You couldn't help but find him cute once again, for all the care and love he gave you. He was the perfect husband and the one you loved the most.
But after that tasty meal, came the hardest part. Saying goodbye to him before he left on his mission.
Already at the entrance of the house ready to leave, he hugged you so tightly that you even started to cry. You didn't mean to do it but your feelings were so strong that you were afraid of never feeling that tight hug again.
"Do you promise that you'll be okay and that you'll take care of yourself?" He whispered
"I'll only do it if you promise that you'll come back to me safe and sound." You said with some sniffles and sobs
"I promise but I want you to assure me of this first, okay?"
"Alright, I'll do it."
"I trust you, you are strong and a wonderful woman." He said, pulling away from the hug and holding your hands
"You always say such beautiful things, you make me blush." You looked down with an embarrassed smile
"Maybe because I love you and I don't hide my feelings from you." He smiled, wiping away your tears. "Don't cry, my dear. I just want to see you cry but with joy when I get back, okay?"
"Yes." You nodded with a little smile
All these words and images passed through his mind while he was trying to cut off the head of the upper moon three in a battle that seemed to last forever. The flame hashira thought the mission was over the moment he saved the lives of 200 people on that train. He promised to save everyone there and he would do it until the end. And not only did he promise that, but he also promised you that he would come back.
"I have to go back..." He thought. "You must be waiting for me.Hold on a little longer, Y/n." Hashira stuck his sword deep into the demon's neck, who also seemed to be resisting until the end
The fight was taking a long time until the sun came to help Hashira in that battle. The upper moon ended up managing to run away desperately, leaving him behind.
Everything seemed to be over, he fell to his knees completely devastated but he was still smiling because he felt alive even though death had been so close to him for a second. His abdomen was open on one side and was dripping so much blood that it could even stand out on his black uniform. His hands were worn and trembling, His left eye had a large wound and he couldn't see on that side due to the punch and also the blood that was dripping there, making it even more difficult.
He was so exhausted but he, still with a drop of energy left in his heart, got up and stood up.
His three tsugukos looked at him, with eyes full of tears, when they saw him still so determined.
"You fought well, young men. I'm proud of your work here." He said in a voice that almost didn't sound like his own. His typical loud, excited voice."But now, I have to... I need to... I promised..." He didn't finish his words and fell completely weak on the ground, making the broken sword fall right in front of him
"Rengoku-san!!!" Tanjiro shouted when he saw him fall
The trio thought that was his death, but it didn't take long for the kakushis to return and take care of the rest. Shinobu was among them and it was she who went to check on Rengoku.
According to her observations, he wasn't dead, but he was in a very pitiful state.
It was lucky that he got out of there alive.
You were on the porch of the house waiting for Rengoku, who seemed to be late since so many days had already passed since the day of his expected return. You thought he had discovered some new place and wanted to stay there for a few days before returning. Probably eating all kinds of food that place had to offer. You even smiled at the idea.
However, his crow arrived with the news that he had been taken to the butterfly mansion due to his serious condition, resulting from the last battle, which made you lose the sparkle in your eyes and the smile you were giving just now.
You just got up and ran there as fast as you could. You knew from the beginning that this would end badly.
"No, this isn't happening... It's just a bad dream." You thought to yourself
You arrived at the butterfly mansion and ran in desperately looking for your husband.
"Where is he? Kyojuro!?" You shouted his name
"Is everything okay? Do you need help, Y/N?" Shinobu asked when she saw you so disoriented and anxious
"My husband, where is he? I heard what happened. Is everything okay with him? Has he recovered? Where is he?" You asked countless questions, in tears of despair, but she calmly held your hands and you stopped for a moment
"Take it easy, Y/N. Everything is fine now. He was badly injured when we found him and unconscious, but he is better now. His wounds are treated, but it will take time to heal, obviously. He was also very shaken and even after he regained consciousness, his words were not very clear. He only woke up last night because all these days he was under care and resting to make sure that the wounds would not open because they were very considerable hemorrhages. It could have been fatal, but Rengoku really is a highly qualified Hashira. A normal person couldn't withstand those attacks." Shinobu explained the situation to you and you could only cry and cry when you heard all that. "I'm sorry if we didn't give you news sooner, but the situation got out of hand and only when things calmed down were we able to give you the news." She apologized
"Please take me to him. I need to see him so much."
"But don't try to force him too much, okay? He's still fragile." She asked and you nodded
She showed you the way, but before you entered the room, she stopped you for a moment, holding your sleeve.
"Y/n, don't forget to congratulate him too. I heard he saved 200 passengers who were on that train. No one died because of his efforts."
You stood paralyzed in front of the door after those words. Your pride and love for him only grew more when you saw how far he went to fulfill his duty.
You slowly turned to her and curved your lips in a proud smile.
"There will never be another Kyojuro Rengoku in this world. Only him. My husband." You said, before entering the room and closing the door
You saw him lying on a bed in the back and went over to him. You sat on the edge of the bed and looked at him as he slept, his hands still warm as ever. He was still your usual Flame Hashira but he looked so devastated at that moment that even you were speechless.
Your fingers ran over the bandages on the left side of his face and you saw that his left eye had been injured and he was probably blind on that side. You wanted to see the wounds he carried under those clothes but you thought your stomach wouldn't be able to handle seeing the suffering of a long battle that almost took him away from you.
"I was so scared for you, so much. I was so worried. You said you would come back soon but things got out of control and you must have suffered so much..." You closed your eyes and more tears ran down your face. "You were so strong and brave until the end. I am so proud of you. Thank you for coming back to me." You kissed his hand over and over again
"I promised, my little flame..."The sleepy and weak voice left his lips and you looked at him promptly. "I said I'd be back to the arms of my only love." He gave a little smile and you were left open-mouthed when you saw him awake
"Kyo! You... You woke up. Thank goodness." You said, feeling the tears, which were now tears of joy, fall down your eyelashes. "I missed you so much." You said, leaning in to hug him
"Hey hey, be careful with my wounds, love. They might open." He warned and you quickly leaned back a little, thinking you had tried too hard
"I'm sorry, honey, but I just wanted to see you and to be in your arms." You said and he smiled
"I know, I thought about you a lot when I was on this mission too. All I could think about was going back to your arms again."
"I told you, I told you it would be very dangerous. Why are you so stubborn?"
"I did what had to be done, I fulfilled my duty and my mission." He said, looking into your teary eyes. "Are you proud of me, my love?" A tear ran down his right eye
"I've always been proud of you, my angel." You said leaning down and resting your forehead against his. "I am proud of your work as a hashira and for being a great warrior but above all, for marrying you. I love you." You whispered sweetly against his lips and he smiled feeling his heart soften
"Even if your husband no longer has his left eye and has wounds all over his body?" He asked jokingly and you chuckled softly
"You look handsome in all the ways, you will always be beautiful in my eyes. I didn't fall in love with your appearance but with the beauty of your brave and strong soul." You nudged his nose with yours. "And you know what? When these wounds turn into scars, you'll get even hotter." You said and he burst out laughing
"Oh, you didn't say that."
"Why not? Are you laughing at me for telling the truth? You'll agree with me, believe me."You said and you both burst out laughing
*Bonus scene*
Three months after the incident, he retired. Well, let's just say he didn't retire completely because he still kept up with the situation and was always willing to help in whatever was needed. It may not seem like it, but convincing this man to retire was harder than it seems. Both you and Master Ubuyashiki talked to him and he ended up accepting. Uzui also thought it was a good idea for him to stay out, at least that way he could have his best friend alive by his side. Even if he later ended up retiring and joining the club as well. But Kyojuro quickly assured him that he would always be available to go on a mission and fulfill his duty once again.
That afternoon you were both at home. You were in the room tidying up some things while Kyojuro was just getting out of the shower. He was wearing a towel around his waist and you looked back and saw him. The large wound that was there before had healed and was now just another one on his body.
You approached him and he smiled as he dried his hair with the smaller towel.
"See this here?" You caressed the scarred skin gently
"The scar?" He gave you a questioning look
"I told you a few months ago that when it healed, you'd looked hotter..." You said and he chuckled softly
"So?"
"So, I guess I was right. In fact, you've gotten even hotter than I thought." You bit your lower lip and he laughed
"You're feeling a little flirty today, aren't you?" He held your hands and kissed them."You make me fall in love with you again like the first time."
"You said before you left on that mission that you don't hide your feelings for me. So why do I have to hide my feelings for you?" You said, bringing your hands to his shoulders, caressing the damp skin with your fingertips. "You're my love, forever my flame hashira."
"I guess I can't call myself the flame hahira anymore." He gave a little smile
"It doesn't matter, and you know why? Because you left your mark in this position and I don't think anyone else can take on that role and do what you did. I said this before and I'll say it again, there will be no other like you."
"You're definitely making me fall for you again."
"Is that bad?Because look," You jumped into his lap, wrapping your legs around his waist."I will gladly do it again and again, just as I will gladly kiss your scars and make you proud of them."
"Well that sounds good to me" He agreed, smiling at you
"Good, since we're both in agreement, let's go then."

Can we get some scenario’s or headcanons where Kyos s/o puts some pheromone spray?
Oooooo this would be so hot, especially for kyo who i imagine is very sensitive to smell
It’s definitely fuck with him thats for sure
He wouldnt be able to get the delicious smell out of his head no matter what he did, the scent so strong that he could taste it on his tongue
Y did u smells so… you right now, it didnt make sense, usually u smelled so strongly of your favorite perfume and shampoo, you natural scent only available during times of pure intimacy, but now all he could take in was you, the fragrance pulling at his loin, reminding him of his primal purpose
He would be able to control himself ling before taking you somewhere private, tear your clothes off to nip and lick all over you until he found out exactly where your scent was strongest, but it was futile as you seemed to be bathed in it
The sex was intense, his mouth latched over all parts of you as he furiously pistoned into your heat, more of your scent filling the air and making him salivate
You know wat smelled better than your own pheromones?
The delectable concoction of both yours and his combining when he seeded your womb

Warning this contains Unhealthily Dynamics, Gaslighting/Emotional manipulation, subtle threats of violence (implied), imbalance of power in relationships, silent threats/ Emotional intimidation, intense/over protective behaviors, jealousy and control, and possessive/ obsessive behavior
╰──────༺♡༻──────╯
Giyu Tomioka - Water Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Unsettling Attention: Giyu is quiet and reserved, but when it comes to his Kakushi S/O, he’s very protective. He doesn't speak much, but his actions show an unhealthy possessiveness. He silently watches over them while they clean or repair his uniform, not even blinking when they touch his clothes. It’s almost as if he’s silently marking them as “his.”
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Silent Affection: He will only show affection in small, subtle ways, like standing in the doorway as his S/O repairs his sword or uniform. He watches them like a hawk, and if anyone gets too close, he has a tendency to linger, making his presence intimidating.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Keeping Them Close: Giyu might be a man of few words, but he’s the type to give a barely audible “thank you” after every task his S/O performs. If they’re delivering a repaired sword to him, he might hold their hand for just a little too long, giving them a hard stare as though telling them, “Don’t go anywhere.”
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Obsessive Protection: If he sees anyone even glance at his S/O, he gets cold and distant, staring them down until they look away. Giyu sees his S/O as someone he must protect, but not from just demons—he needs to shield them from other people, too. No one else should touch them or get too close.
Kanao Tsuyuri - Flower Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Gentle Yet Possessive: Kanao’s emotions can be a bit more restrained due to her upbringing, but when it comes to her S/O, she’s fiercely protective. If her S/O is fixing her uniform or delivering a repaired sword, she watches them with intense focus, feeling strangely possessive of them. She won’t speak unless spoken to, but her gaze is sharp and unwavering.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Small Gifts: After her S/O repairs her uniform or delivers her sword, she might leave them little gifts—flowers, a handmade token, or even a small note with cryptic but affectionate messages. She finds ways to express her affection in subtle, almost secretive ways.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Worrying Over Them: Whenever her S/O goes out to clean up after one of her missions or deliver something, she gets a sense of worry. She doesn’t express it vocally, but you’ll see her pacing, her hands twitching as if she’s resisting the urge to check up on them. She’ll try to act normal, but it’s clear she’s watching from a distance, ensuring that nothing happens to them.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Gentle Restraint: If someone gets too close to her S/O, Kanao’s demeanor will change. She won’t directly confront the person, but a cold, calculating aura will surround her. The person will often feel her presence lingering, warning them that they are trespassing into dangerous territory.
Shinobu Kocho - Insect Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Deceptively Sweet: Shinobu’s yandere tendencies are masked behind a calm, sweet demeanor. She’ll smile as her S/O repairs her uniform or delivers her sword, but there’s a glint of something darker in her eyes. She finds it adorable when they tend to her belongings—almost as if they’re her personal servant.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ "Grateful" Gestures: Shinobu is too thankful for the little things her S/O does, to the point where it might seem unsettling. After they deliver her sword, she may press a kiss on their cheek or hand, almost as if marking them as “hers.” She enjoys their attention and becomes very clingy once they show any care for her work.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Isolation: She'll often send her S/O out on "errands" or ask them to "stay close" while she's in the middle of something, like tending to patients or preparing poisons. She wants them by her side at all times, ensuring they aren't distracted by anyone else. The idea of her S/O helping other Hashira or speaking to anyone outside of her circle drives Shinobu crazy with jealousy.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Subtle Threats: If someone is too forward or too friendly with her S/O, Shinobu's kindness turns chilling. She'll smile and laugh, but her words will carry a sharp edge, warning the person to back off. “I’d hate for you to accidentally hurt yourself,” she’ll say with a soft giggle, before turning her attention back to her S/O, watching them with unnerving adoration.
Sanemi Shinazugawa - Wind Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Fury and Fear: Sanemi’s yandere tendencies are fueled by his intense anger and fear of losing those he cares about. If his S/O is cleaning up after his mission, repairing his torn uniform, or delivering a repaired sword, Sanemi will be constantly watching them with suspicion, almost as if he’s afraid someone will try to take them away from him.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Forceful Affection: He’s the type who will grab their wrist and pull them close after they’ve done something for him, practically forcing his affection onto them. There’s no subtlety in his displays of need for them; it’s all possessive, domineering gestures.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Unspoken Threats: If anyone else talks to or even looks at his S/O for too long, Sanemi will give them an icy glare. His words are harsh, but there’s a menacing undertone to them. “Stay away from them, you piece of shit. They’re mine,” he’ll mutter, and it’s clear that he will stop at nothing to keep his S/O close.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Extreme Protectiveness: After every mission, when his S/O tends to him, Sanemi becomes possessive to the point of paranoia. He'll try to keep them by his side at all times, and if they get too close to someone else (even in conversation), he’ll act out violently. He’ll hold their repaired sword with a vicious grip, ready to lash out at anyone who threatens his hold on them.
Mitsuri Kanroji - Love Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Affection Overload: Mitsuri is the embodiment of intense, overwhelming love. When her S/O repairs her torn uniform or delivers her sword after it’s been fixed, she showers them with excessive affection—hugs, kisses, and sweet words. She’s not afraid to show how much they mean to her, but the intensity can sometimes feel suffocating. She’ll follow them around with a huge smile, constantly telling them how much she loves them.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Clinginess: Mitsuri constantly wants to be near her S/O. She’ll hang around while they’re cleaning or repairing things, offering to help in any way she can—though her "help" often turns into her just watching them with a loving gaze. If they ever go off to do something for another Hashira, Mitsuri will insist on tagging along, afraid of losing them or someone else taking them away from her.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Jealousy: If anyone else seems to take interest in her S/O, even if it’s just friendly, Mitsuri’s mood shifts. She’ll become visibly upset, hanging onto her S/O even more tightly, almost as if she’s trying to "mark" them as her own. "You’re mine, right?" she’ll ask sweetly but with an edge, hoping they’ll reassure her.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Constant Praise: After any task they perform for her—whether it’s repairing her uniform, delivering a sword, or cleaning up after a mission—Mitsuri praises them constantly. “You’re the best! I love you so much! No one else could do what you do!” Her overwhelming compliments make it clear that, in her mind, her S/O is her perfect partner.
Obanai Iguro - Serpent Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Possessive and Silent: Obanai’s possessiveness is subtle but fierce. He doesn’t say much, but his eyes follow his S/O wherever they go, especially if they’re interacting with anything related to his mission—whether it’s repairing his uniform or delivering his sword. His snake, Kaburamaru, might also get in on the act, acting as a silent "guardian" over the S/O, watching them with a snake-like intensity.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Subtle Threats: Obanai doesn’t get angry easily, but his words are chilling. If he notices anyone else speaking to his S/O for too long, he might approach quietly, his voice cold and detached as he asks, "Is there a problem here?" His tone is polite but leaves no room for argument, and anyone who crosses him will feel his watchful gaze lingering long after the conversation ends.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Silent Affection: Obanai doesn’t express affection the same way others do. He’ll stand close to his S/O as they work on his uniform or sword, his presence almost suffocating in its quiet intensity. Sometimes, without warning, he’ll place his hand on theirs, gripping them gently but firmly. His actions are possessive, but in his own way, he’s showing his care.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Controlled Jealousy: If someone else does something for his S/O, like offering to clean up or fix their clothes, Obanai’s jealousy manifests in his unspoken silence. He’ll retreat, but his eyes will never leave the scene. It’s clear that Obanai believes his S/O should belong only to him, and he won’t tolerate anyone else intruding on his territory.
Tengen Uzui - Sound Hashira & His Wives (Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru)
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Overwhelming Attention: Tengen, as well as his wives, are incredibly attached to their S/O. When they’re cleaning up after missions, repairing Tengen’s uniforms, or delivering his sword, they’re the center of attention—not just from Tengen, but from the wives too. Tengen’s larger-than-life personality often leads to him teasing his S/O affectionately, while his wives compete for their attention.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Excessive Praise and Rewards: Tengen will often express his appreciation in extravagant ways, showering his S/O with praise and lavish gifts. "You’re amazing, darling! Look at you, taking care of my uniform like it’s nothing!" His wives, too, will join in on the compliments, sometimes playfully competing to see who can be the most "charming" or affectionate with the S/O.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Jealousy and Over-Protection: Despite their "open" relationship, Tengen and his wives become intensely protective when it comes to their S/O. If another Hashira or even a demon slayer speaks too closely to them, Tengen will immediately step in, making a loud, almost theatrical declaration of possession. "That’s my partner! Hands off!" The wives will back him up, making sure no one can get too close to their S/O.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Group Obsession: While Tengen might be the loudest, each of his wives has a unique bond with the S/O. Suma is clingy and emotional, constantly seeking affection, while Makio is a bit more competitive and will try to steal attention. Hinatsuru, the most grounded, might be more subtle but will ensure that the S/O is always near her and that Tengen's boundaries are respected. Together, they form an obsessive but strangely harmonious dynamic around their S/O.
Gyomei Himejima - Stone Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Gentle but Intense Protection: Gyomei’s yandere tendencies come from a place of extreme, almost paternal love and protection. His S/O may repair his uniform, clean up after missions, or deliver his sword to him, but he sees these actions as signs of loyalty and devotion. He becomes deeply attached and protective of them, always needing to ensure they’re safe and sound. He’ll often find himself watching over them as they work, his imposing figure looming over them but his voice soft and caring.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Silent Obsession: Gyomei doesn’t express his feelings through words often, but his gaze never leaves his S/O. When they do something for him, he might softly murmur, “Thank you… Please, take care of yourself.” He’s almost obsessive in his care, constantly worried about their well-being and ensuring that they’re always at his side.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Extreme Loyalty: If anyone else interacts with his S/O in a way that even remotely feels too friendly, Gyomei will subtly insert himself into the conversation, standing nearby and giving a quiet but intense stare. He doesn't like confrontation but will use his sheer size and strength to ensure his S/O is never out of his sight for long.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ A Quiet Love: Gyomei’s affection is shown in his care. He might not be as outwardly intense as others, but he’ll go out of his way to ensure that his S/O’s work is appreciated, whether it’s helping them with tasks or ensuring they’re well-rested after a long day. His love is possessive in that it never allows them to feel free from his watchful gaze.
Muichiro Tokito - Mist Hashira
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Detached Yet Obsessive: Muichiro’s yandere tendencies are often buried beneath his distracted, aloof personality. While he might not openly express affection, he becomes uncomfortably possessive when it comes to his S/O. When they repair his uniform or clean up after his mission, he watches them with a cold, unfocused gaze, not saying much but always keeping an eye on them.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Silent Possession: Muichiro doesn't speak much, but his actions make it clear that his S/O belongs to him. If they ever leave the room to deliver something for another Hashira or work on someone else’s gear, he’ll get agitated, standing up and silently following them to make sure no one else interacts with them. He doesn’t understand why it bothers him, but it does.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Staring and Silent Obsession: Muichiro will often stare at his S/O without realizing it, his eyes unfocused, lost in thought. When they do something for him, he’ll become fixated on them for a while, silently watching, occasionally muttering something to himself that’s difficult to understand. His obsession is quiet but undeniable.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Protective without Words: If anyone approaches his S/O too closely, Muichiro’s behavior shifts. He won’t confront them directly but will stand between them and his S/O, his gaze suddenly more intense, as though silently telling them to back off. His protection is indirect but undeniably possessive.
Rengoku Kyojuro (Flame Hashira)
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Obsessive Attention to DetailRengoku is fiercely possessive when it comes to how you care for his things. Every time you fix a tear in his uniform or clean his blade, he watches you with a sharp, unwavering gaze, as if observing every movement you make. He always comments on how well you do it, almost too much, as if praising your devotion serves to remind both of you that you belong to him. "Only you can handle my uniform with such care, my beloved. You're the only one who truly understands my needs."
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Constant Reassurance, Mixed with Subtle Possessiveness. When you deliver his repaired sword, Rengoku will always give you a warm, affectionate hug and a kiss on the forehead. But even in these sweet moments, there's an underlying intensity in his gaze. He’ll pull you close, quietly saying, “I need you to always take care of me like this. No one else can.” He’ll often insist on being the only one who can touch his sword or handle his belongings, and any suggestion that others could assist is met with a cold, possessive tone.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Quiet Jealousy, Overprotectiveness. Rengoku doesn't express jealousy in loud outbursts, but when you interact with others in the Corps—whether it's other Kakushi or even higher-ranked members—he’ll subtly insert himself into the conversation. He’s quick to wrap his arm around you or kiss your temple, making it known that you're his. "No one knows how to take care of my things like you do, love. They could never match your level of care." He always ensures that no one gets too close to you, and if anyone offers help, he quickly steps in to handle things himself, though always in a calm, collected manner.
˚₊‧꒰ა ♱ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ Tangible Evidence of His Devotion.Rengoku’s love for you is intense, and he expresses it through both words and actions. He often gifts you small tokens—like a flame-shaped pendant or a piece of jewelry—reminders of your bond. But more than anything, he treasures your care for him. Every uniform you mend or sword you repair becomes a symbol of your loyalty, a silent pact between you two. If you ever suggest taking a break or focusing on something else, Rengoku will quickly remind you, “It’s because of your care that I’m strong. You are irreplaceable to me.”
