How it started: How it’s going:

Phew I neglected my Tumblr blog haven’t I?

It’s been a wild emotional rollercoaster in March and April with May being busy from final exams and college graduation (I passed!! 🎊 🎉 ). Now it’s July and I’ve been striving to save money working through the stressful job that’s thankfully been more chill after the holidays.

Now onto the picture!

Blake seems to be most wanted OC from my poll in Deviantart, so I drew him again! This time his sister Crystal is making a comeback in my drawings as she deserves to be on paper again with my current skill level making her look better. Their clothes are getting redesigned too as I felt their outfits used to look a little plain, especially Blake’s.

I made Crystal’s head smaller too cuz dang that’s a mighty big brain she housed back then.

Quill the Archivist

Posting late but I offered to draw my friend, oopsalltes’ OC as a birthday gift! Quill’s species is a mystery but he appears often as a Mobian cat. They were really fun to draw ^_^!

I was inspired to practice expressions after seeing Instagram posts of OC sketches and tutorials, so I had fun with the faces. Buuuut I also realized Marcos' hair was inconsistent in different angles so I erased like 27 times on some faces trying to make the fauxhawk work without it looking off. I do like how I draw it from the side though :D . I simplified the shape from the previous concept art.

Here's the older version with the crescent moon on his chest - oh right I forgot to include this trivia; his name was Marcus until I changed it to a Spanish name. Now I wonder how he'd look with red armor...

Here are the colored versions of Pill and Scalpel. They're medical reploids who turned on humans after doctors saw them as nothing more than walking tools and were kept away from interacting with other reploids to keep their minds "sterile".

So this sketch came from me mistaking this piece of Axl (made by the talented FrostyGX! 😄) for having a mustache.

And then I thought “hey wouldn’t it be funny if I drew him with one?” I’ll admit he looks pretty sharp with one. This stache fits him.

Should I draw X and Zero with facial hair too?
