Teacher: to be or not to be?
As an education graduate, I am very aware with our current educational system. I am not surprised if a third-grader is having a hard time in reading a Filipino or an English written text so as to understanding what they have read.
Many of our elementary students today do not even comply with the basic competencies raised by the Department of Education.Then these teachers will advance them to a higher grade level simply because they do not want that student to ruin their class discussion. They are killing the students' right to proper education. Whether it is in public school or private school.
It is sad that there are students who are left-behind during class discussions, these kids also have the right to proper education you know?
