You accept me for who I am and teach me how to extend that same kindness and empathy to those around us. You keep me humble and make me laugh until I cry. I thank God every day for bringing us together and pray that our marriage can be a vessel of love to the world!

For the proposal - I chose to recreate the moment where I first met and asked Tammy’s parents if I could date her. It happened at a beautiful coffeeshop in Cypress (shoutout to Flat White Coffee!) and I brought along the same fruits, flowers and soju that I gave to her parents that day. To top it off, I’m so thankful for all of our friends and family who helped make this happen. For flying into LA, grabbing decorations, setting up the coffeeshop, getting Tammy’s nails done, taking photos/videos, faking her out with false timelines, and countless other details. My favorite moment of the day was seeing each of you walk in one by one and hand Tammy her favorite flower 🌻

Oh, and about the ring: it was important for us to choose a ring that could make an impact. So we decided to go with a lab grown diamond from Do Amore. Lab grown diamonds are actually identical to natural diamonds but they are guaranteed to be conflict free. Also, every Do Amore ring brings a person in a developing country access to clean water. Tammy’s ring is now providing a person in Ethiopia access to clean water and it makes everything even more special.
