For the second concert of our 2017-18 series we have teamed up with Jane Weaver and Sam Wiehl to present ‘Kosmologie Ancienne’ a multidisciplinary adaptation and extrapolation of works from Jane Weaver’s critically acclaimed album, Modern Kosmology. The collaborators will present this unique performance combining Weaver’s voice and synthesisers, Immix’s acoustic instrumentation and live visuals from Sam Wiehl in the grand setting of the Lutyens Crypt Concert Room, set within the cavernous chambers beneath Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. Support will come from Immix’s 2017-18 Composer in Residence, Andrew PM Hunt (Dialect), with Andy Votel on DJ duties before and between sets.
