Approaching 3 women, a metaphor about Raindrop  Anxiety and trust fall.
Brief Intro of writer
Just to introduce myself briefly before I begin my thoughts on life, I am Andres. I live in Canada, however I was born in Venezuela and raised there until I was 9 years old, then I lived there until I was 18 years old when I moved to Toronto. I am the mixture of an introvert and an extrovert. You’ll find me writing songs or thoughts in my big black note book on a bus, jamming with my band, lost finding stuff in Toronto and feeding a feral cat that lives close to my apartment called Survivor. I find it easy to talk to people but I dwell on deep subjects a lot. This is the reason I started this blog, in order to express and let these thoughts out of my mind. ANYWAYS lets get to the point. I’m not usually this serious I’m pretty silly a person (I’ll try to keep these light so I can make you smile a bit)
Story “Approaching three women with JJ”
The subject came to me as I went out with my friend that we will call “JJ” to a live music, hall, bar, place thing. JJ is a handsome, smart, tall dark and handsome friend of mine that gets a good bit of anxiety when it comes to talking to women. Look I get it dude they are pretty and look like they could be having a lot of fun without us interrupting them. However I am very adventurous by nature and so I like to push people and myself out of the comfort zone. So we approached a three cute girls around our age 24ish— let’s leave this story line hanging for a bit and take you back to his moment of doubt on this whole let’s approach women thing. We were in the second story of the place looking down at the crowd of people that were all dancing and enjoying themselves planing to make our move to approach. However as I look over to JJ he looked like someone that was contemplating switching careers (worrisome and in deep thought) and he tells me something along the lines of “Look at all these people, all having fun, all doing what they have been doing for thousands of years: mingling, drinking, dancing and the whole thing. Yet this is so hard for me…Why?. I gave him some pep talk that will lead me to the point of this blog. So we went downstairs (Story-line continues) and there they are the three cute girls. So I go to approach them and he stays behind. I start talking to them and call him over and he gets over it and begins to join the conversation — reality note: This guy is way better built than me, taller and way more well kept,  not that I am a mess, I’m just more unorthodox. Anyways long story short he begins talking to them and making THEM laugh, telling stories and having a good time. We get contact info and we left. Over all good.
Philosophical Metaphor “Raindrop Metaphor“
The image of his worrisome face as he looked at the people and his thoughts on what the outcome might be, reminded me of the image of a rain drop as it drops from a cloud. Let’s call society “The Clouds” and us as the “The individual Drops” that make up those clouds. When I say that a drop falls the metaphor is that the person decides to follow their instincts and follow their “good human nature or path”. I get that society before was really weird in that people got married or followed one career path over the other for wrong reasons more than good and they didn’t over think stuff as my generation does. However my generation (At least the ones in this side of culture) has the advantage that we can make decisions based on our heart, love and most importantly intent. Here’s the metaphor: When raindrops are about to fall, are they worried about how hard they will hit earth? Where they will land? and what will happen after they dry up and evaporate? The answer is NO they don’t. This is why like rain drops we have to learn to let go and fall when our instincts call on us to act. Weather it be to say something we think, talk to a girl or dude we find attractive, follow a business idea, call someone we love to say thanks and catch up with them etc (all the emotional shit you usually hear). Because no matter what we will get through, rain drops will fall ANYWHERE and will ALWAYS evaporate and start over again. The only difference is that some drops will worry from start to finish while others wont waste that energy and will trust in the fall (Look up the Trust Fall by Incubus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZoaY4sStVw  one of my favorite songs right now).
Learn to Trust Fall into your path, don’t worry we all evaporate in the end.

Ok…. I hate to say it but this is an enfp. I know people have an issue thinking we’re incompetent because we like to get a little silly every once in a while. but the truth is we are genius’ by birth and slackers by choice. If we wanted to and really put in the effort to do something great we could. We like to learn a bit about every subject, enough to talk to about it, and sometimes (if its really interesting) we learn it in such a way that we could do it ourselves and even teach others to do it. We can be leaders, even if telling others what to do isnt our thing, we can be. We’re not incompetent at all. And I’m not saying we’re lazy either (although this can come into play as with any human being). I’m saying we are just so interested in a variety of things and arent interested in stagnation. We DEMAND AND CRAVE VARIETY!!! We like to jump from subject to subject (and our bouncing interest isnt necessarily a bad thing, like i said it lets us gain new knowledge and talents) and sometimes …ok most times that means we leave projects unfinished. BUT  !!! Believe it or not, people and enfps out there, if we really make the decision we can hang in for the long haul. Hell, we hang in for the long haul in relationships we can do it for everyday work too ^^ ! Love everyone!

Exactly how I feel some days. Thank you to the writer for expressing some raw truth a lot of us dont have the balls to say.
So today I was at work and my supervisor came by and asked me if I wanted to work there. *sigh* Loaded question there, honey. Do I need to work there for the money? YES. Do I want to work there? NO.
Okay this is why I hate being an ENFP. This is why I hate being me. This is...

"The Reality Perception Nob"
Here come some really deep thoughts going through my head lately.
Last night I was sleeping and I had a dream that woke me up at 3am-ish (enfp slang #represent) and for some strange reason a really weird concept came to my head. It is a combination of two concepts quantum mechanics and our existence. I feel that our existence is quite paradoxical, this is because we are made of particles. The interesting issue here is that when we observe these particles they are not in one place at once. They "pop" in and out of our observable reality. Understanding that makes me feel that we are sort of holographic in a way. This thought comes to my head because I've been detaching my self from my ego and started thinking more about things as a whole and not just accepting reality as is and that any concept outside of that shouldn't be thrown away. This makes me look at life as this inexplicable experience that makes sense but in a way that our minds cannot grasp as yet. However as a creative person I have this weird perception of what we are that I'd like to share.
Our minds perceive reality in two or four ways. Our standard which is us being alive and awake. Sleep in which we perceive reality differently and under drugs. But these perceptions are written so deeply in our reality that we think this is what the world really is but we are seeing reality through a small window. This window is our lives. but how many windows are there?. We don't know.
What we know is that we are here. I picture humans  as the "Awakened Light Seekers". These means two things. We are up and about when light is up and when the light goes down we shut off. We are in those two states. The second part is the "awakened state". This means that we perceive reality through the awakened frequency range or spectrum. It is a bit humorous and scary but that's what I feel like the truth is. What could happen if we were able to change the way we perceived reality with a nob. And what if this nob had all the possible ways you could perceive reality. What would it look like. Would it be finite?. I don't know but that's the kind of shyte that goes through my mind. Could I be insane or is this the kind of stuff enfps think about?

8 steps to creating a great artwork. Any type.
Making great art is like finding your voice when your a singer. At first your trying to do some one else’s voice because your interested in singing in general but slowly begin to realize that it doesn’t sound good. What you’ll come to realize is that those voices sound good because their unique and are not following any pattern to the T.
Here are some rules:
Note: There is no such thing (to me as raw talent) EVERYTHING comes with practice. Yes there is always luck but practice beats it all.
1. It has to be true to your heart. This means that it is something your expressing from an internal place not an external place. It is not corny if it is true to you. Even if it seems so to others.
2. The art work has to be authentic to your personality. Don’t create something that your not aligned with.
3. Learn the rules then throw them away and follow your intuition. (practice)
4. On that same note. Once you have the idea, make a blueprint so that you can understand where it’s coming from and how you can piece it together so that it is cohesive.
5. Regardless of all these rules. This is the most important one. create, create and create. The more you create the more you understand yourself as an artist and what your strengths and weaknesses are.
6. Do not listen to people that tell you to stop and try to do something else. Because we live in a society in which “I need my food hot now” is the norm, people are not aware that a great piece of work comes from countless tries and failure.
7. DETACH your ego from your project and be objective as well. Look for good and bad reviews. BOTH are as important. In my dreams you would actually keep notes of what people think about your artwork so that you can look at it objectively as time continues.
8. Finally, Try something different and don’t be afraid of having a big vision. The only one stopping you is yourself. Like in anything in life. This is hard. So take the journey lightly but work hard and long at it.
9. Make sure that it is AWESOME.

Are ENFPs smelly, unfocused, starving artist? We ask an angry one.
Here’s why I’m pissed about people’s perceptions of ENFP’s as hippy starving artists.
People Troll: ENFP’s are disorganized, manipulative, intuitive, creative, don’t give a sh++t about rules, are A.D.D’s and are always late.
And the answer is yes. BUT (for all of you people that are trying hard to put others in a small box they can fit others in so that they can say “YES!!! that’s what he is”) here’s something that might make you re-think.
First off, even though I agree that this test is great we have to realize that every person is a different aspect of another person. (Wow that so broad and doesn’t make any sense like every enfp) This means that the creativity that one person has another person has as well; they just have different perceptions of how to channel that creativity. This goes for intuition and logic. ENFP’s don’t hate logic, organization and patterns. Let’s just remember that us (ENFP’s) live analyzing shyyza CONSTANTLY including all of our weaknesses. So whereas one person is logical and denies their creativity and thinks their OKAY we don’t (or at least as an enfp I don’t) I am extremely self-critical even though I’m empathetic towards myself, meaning I don’t think I’m stupid for having a certain weakness. It is just an aspect I have to fix.
Slowly a troll comes out of a cave with a smirk on his face and asks the enfp:
Hey hippy ENFP answer this:
Do you hate organization?
NO, I hate organizing something that is not worthy of being organized at that moment. I go by priorities. If someone is having a shiza day. I might not clean my room so I can help them out (because it’s not ALL about us). So when you come into my room and criticize my untidiness you can go… I won’t finish that statement.
Also, knowing that organization is not my number one priority because there are other things to ponder in life about such as: What is my next step in life, what do I have to fix about my attitude?, if I work on a song will this help me later in live?. This makes me not do it FIRST. However because I put it off and let it go overboard. (HERE’s THE SURPRISE) I make up “systems” so that it doesn’t happen to me. UH OH here comes a big word. I use “Calendars” to keep myself in a straight line. OHH NO It’s about to get worse. I use Daily Planners and weekly planners.
YOU KNOW WHY. Because I THINK about the things that are wrong with me I don’t deny my weaknesses like many others! I do self-studies and I act on them. SO THERE! (Sorry I’m just tired of seeing all these Youtube videos of ENFP’s and about enfp’s that put us in the hippy, starving artist box). HEY I HAVE A JOB!!!. SO THERE!!. This isn’t statement full of pride it’s factual.
Troll Question 2: HEY! ENFP’s have super special creative powers and can connect with people in a way I will never be able to.
BULLSHYYZAA! (pardon my German)
In life you can say that Michael Jordan has special talents (what their trying to say is magical powers). My answer is NO.
It’s called work… Hard work. We learn to channel our creativity. We learn to connect with others. Because we analyze, self-study, self-criticize and grow. Learn to do that! (takes hard work) the last thing you would think an ENFP would tell you. Hey there’s a first time for everything.
Troll: Do you not care about your appearance?
YES. As stated before we are HUGE self-critics before you criticize us don’t worry we told ourselves that 100000…times. Congrats on that though. Reason why that happens? Priority. We may be valuing something else more than our “appearance”. Where you spent $1000 on your appearance. We spent it on instruments, laptops with better capability, our health, gifts, GIVING TO OTHERS, equipment for free-lancing work, SAVINGS (OMG he did not just say that) EDUCATION, growth, etc… So when our first priorities are met… We go spend on a shirt and a beauuuuuutiful haircut.
Troll 3 comes out of the cave: Hey Enfp your not focused enough!!!
First off you can go .... not finishing that sentence again.
It is not that we are not focused, it is just that we are really in tune with our instincts and they bring up very interesting points about things that are happening in the grand scale of things. So when you see an enfp sweeping the floor doing it slowly, and not as fast as another type it's for one of many reasons, I'll give you some of mine.
1. We are rethinking our path.
2.We are thinking of way better roles we could have in the company.
3.We are thinking of ideas that would be very worthy for your company to invest in.
4.We are self-analyzing the mistakes we made previously so that we don't make them again.
5. We are connecting with other people because we recognize that the energy is low and a smile, joke or story can help change that.
6. We may be managing multiple projects because we are able to tap into different areas and quickly shift our focus.
A little thing here for enfps: As hard as it may be to not think way ahead of your position and how much more useful you would be in a group. Try focusing on that thing that your doing at that moment. To keep your mind quiet sing. That's what I do.
So that’s my defence to ENFPs. Go creative people, that actually have values and care about others.
Cheers (sorry for the rant)
Andres R
