Neoclassical - Luca Scacchetti : “Fantasy architecture, summing up all neoclassical archetypes, is the start of the project. A very narrative and representative design that taken in fragments generate something completely different: an abstract design, almost Mondrian, made of clear lines and primary geometric forms. Neoclassical architecture is the matrix behind the Partenos centrepiece and the Bianca chair, while it is the subject represented on the Verona fabric. Its fragments, instead, form the decorative motif of the table service, known as Frammenti, and the Pyxis vases, where the abstract decoration contrasts with the rich forms and precious finish. The project plays with the continuous passage from neoclassical forms to abstract design, to demonstrate that in the end, they come from the same principles, the same lines.” The project and products are the results of a “round table” between the architect Luca Scacchetti and four young designers: Emanuele Colzani, Carlo Flagiello, Andrej Misic and Giada Torchiana.
