So I actually watched the trailer very quickly bc of life (same reason I've just gotten to actually watching the new movie :/ ) but it made me worry about them putting too much focus on the new characters, esp thurman tbqh

I understand and welcome new additions to the fam and lore, but what I most want besides some big, sweet, satisfying andromaquynh angst and reunion (not necesarily happy, but not straight up antagonistic) is more bonding time with the current fam. I want them showing us Andy caring for the others, I want to see how the relationship between her and Nile has evolved, Nile growing into a leader, learning from Andy, never understating that but also becoming her own. I want to see Booker brought in again but in a way that doesn't absolve him of all his shitty actions, I want all their trauma to be acknowledged, especially Andromaquynh's, I want Andy to be the self-flagellating, self-sacrificial, incredibly caring, protective, pragmatic, sometimes self centered whirl of badassery and humanity she's always been.

I want the movie to show how she beats herself up over quynh, but also how she stands by her choice to protect her family. I want it to make her and all of them be confronted and conflicted about it, while acknowledging what an unfortunate hand they were dealt. I want Quynh to have somewhere to direct her rightful anger and pain towards but ultimately it not consuming her and her relationship to the people that love her. I want it to show the nuance of it all, amidst dynamic fight scenes that showcase both how they used to know each other so well but also how they've diverged and quiet, intimate scenes where they can let it all out and take a step towards working through it. where they can just take a moment to take in that holy shit, quynhs back! its complicated af but shes back! and andys mortal and they're together again!! and for just one moment it feels like enough. I want them to be able to breath through it.

I want some joe and nicky interacting with quynh and andy especifically, i want the fact that they were the only immortals for millenia to be conveyed and to make me feel all fuzzy inside. I want some cute moments for them bc it's important, but I want the focus here to be AQ. I want Nile becoming accostumed to this new immortal life, but also what does it look like for her when she takes a break? I want more tie ins to her fam, what happened to them? Nile being clever and cheeky af. I want more Lykon tidbits, maybe some backstory on Quynh herself. I've unfortunately been spolied, and I kinda saw it coming, but I wanted Andy to remain mortal if not for the whole movie, at least for 90% of it. I want her and quynh to fight wHILE she's still mortal! let her bleed at the hands of the love of her life!!!

I want to fall in love with of these characters again and to see them being family while doing cool and soft shit.
