Some people suggested that it was supposed to be the romance ending for chaos player.

Besides in freeze scene he says "Your words have been rolling around inside my head... about choice, duty, what to do with my life. I don't know if it's weakness or a spiritual defect, but I..."

But we can only guess since this wasn't finished.

Here's a useless fact about RT. The game has game time inside which can be viewed when editing saves through Arcemi Save Game Editor.

So, if you complete all the quests and use the red warp paths, then RT arrives at Epitaph 6.5 years after the start of the game.

If you only do the main story quest (I actually did a couple more companion quests), then in about a year.

I don’t know how much time actually passed according to canon.

Personally, I like the idea that a lot of time passes between events. Then the slow burn with the interrogator becomes even more beautiful. In my save, MA only happens after 3 years.

okay i finally sorted through 3.9k .wav files and have uploaded most of them to my google drive. pasqal, ulfar, and yrliet are still uploading but overall:

this 5.92 GB folder features every non combat/non exploration dialogue in rogue trader. only argenta and abelard have full transcriptions of their dialogue right now since i injured my thumb doing this lol but eventually everyones dialogue will be labelled. later on when i have a proper internet connection i will also add a mediafire link to the post + a link to a google spreadsheet which will feature all the dialogue as well.

combat and exploration dialogue is coming as well, but they are mashed together with all of the player character dialogue, and each companion has multiple variations of every single combat/exploration line which results in having to sort through 8.9k unlabelled files so it might take a bit.

Does Heinrix say, ''One more push and we will be together forever," if he hasn't left the Inquisition?

If not, what does he say then?

Hi! How do you think Calcazar treats an Heinrix that becomes the RT's Master of Whispers, if the RT sides with Calcazar? The ending states that Calcazar and the RT becomes such strong allies that Calcazar can even die protecting them, so I guess that means he wouldn't piss her off by hounding her lover/MoW. Then again, would he let Heinrix go, just like that?

Xavier, ruthless as he is, is willing to sacrifice whatever he thinks is required for his goals - including Heinrix. But of course, a living Heinrix is more dangerous to him than a dead one - he carries a lot of secrets with him and would also maybe set the signal that you can walk away from the Inquisition.

Although for the later point - I think there are even examples where Inquisitors kind of retired? At least I think I remember having read about it in a lore thread - of course, could be wrong and Heinrix is not as independent being (only) an Interrogator with Xavier watching every of his steps.

As you already said, if RT sides with Xavier he stays an ally and I don't see him risking a trusted ally (he doesn't have that many left) with powerful resources like RT just to get rid of Heinrix.

I don't think he would do it out of revenge, even if you don't side with him, he is all about "it is nothing personal". Even though Heinrix is seen as traitor, I think for Xavier it is all about what he could gain or loose - he is a very cold tactician. The question is if Xavier would deem Heinrix capable of spilling the Inquisition's secrets and therefore becoming a threat.

But Xavier and RT already keep a big secret - the C'Tan shard (at least it sounds like it is supposed to stay secret). I don't see Xavier as that stupid to kill Heinrix to protect Inquisition secrets that he might or might not have already spilled and as result getting RT as enemy. The maw is currently closed but no one knows for how long, and with RT as trusted ally Xavier has much more possibilities to follow his goals to find more C'Tan shards.

And maybe with RTs knowledge about what transpired she has also something in hand against Xavier (although he says it is only heresy if he wins - let the other Lord Inquisitors decide - of course, would require communication/travel to the other side of the maw).

And he knows Heinrix is capable - having him close to RT and protecting her is actually very much in Xavier's interest I would say. Letting Heinrix getting killed by an assassin trying to not let it fall back to Xavier will only make RT suspicious, so I don't think Xavier would try that. And I think he still trusts Heinrix to be smart enough to know that telling RT secrets she isn't supposed to know if it isn't required to protect her (like with the genestealers on her ship) is only endangering her.

So I would say he gains more if he does not kill Heinrix and actually is interested in keeping him safe.

He is willing to sacrifice his own life to protect RT in the ending because (I see this as his main reason) RT has become so important for the stability in the expanse that he sees her life as more important than his own. Maybe there are more reasons, but ruthless as he is I would think even if he cared personally about RT he would still let her die if he thought he was more important for the Imperiums interests). I must say I love that even though he is a radical, he has not fallen to chaos, he is not trying to destabilize or hurt the Imperium, on the contrary.

And I think he would treat Heinrix polite but with an unspoken threat (I think a look would be enough, Heinrix would know how to read it and that he is only alive because of RT).

So, I think Heinrix would be fine.

They also got rid of "sweetheart". Maybe they can't still decide what they want her to call him. Let's hope for something in the upcoming dlc.

A bit off topic but if not romanced he asks RT to be careful at Magnae Accessio. I wonder if he means Calcazar's visit or just speaks about future troubles in general.

Happy one year anniversary to my (un)healthy obsession with this masterpiece

I launched it exactly one year ago and can't still get over it. Seven full playthroughs in different difficulties and with different combinations of companions.
