people like “daemon sees young rhaenyra because he preferred her when she was pliable and hates now she’s in command” is so fucking stupid because rhaenyra is not in command. she refuses to lead. she refuses to do anything. she is not a self-actualized adult in contrast to a weak teenage self because her teenage self had drive and desires and ambitions and made choices and rhaenyra once she has become queen has literally none of that. rhaenyra at 15 was flying to dragonstone to bitchwalk daemon and humiliate him and assert her political authority with the mindset of a politician while she now lets men subservient to her yell at her while she wrings her hands and cries. none of you have actually watched the show. no one close to rhaenyra least of all daemon thinks she’s “cruel” or despotic” they think she’s a wet blanket, because she is, because they are writing her in an incredibly misogynistic way as an incompetent incapable of governing.
