I love wearing my little guy! Now if only he’d let me wear him for longer than 30 minutes a day though so that I could actually get some things done. I mean I don’t mind all the baby cuddles, but eating every once in a while is nice too. 🤣

My little Logan is 3 weeks old today! He’s grown out of a few onesies already and is determined to keep growing as demonstrated by his constant cluster feeding. He loves cuddles and being held and loves to make his mommy carry him around all day. But he’s lucky to have a mommy and daddy who love to hold him and give him cuddles back. He doesn’t like baths but he loves the skin to skin time afterwards. And his favorite thing to do these days is eat. ;)

So happy, yet so hungry because my little mans been cluster feeding all morning and it’s already past noon. Thank goodness my mom was here all week so she made me food before she had to leave today.. now if only I can reach the table to get it...

Little Logan had an appointment at the pediatrician yesterday and today in the morning we went to see a lactation consult to see how well he’s eating and growing. All is well and he’s now 8 lbs and 4 ounces and eating very well. I love my happy healthy little dinosaur. ;) (at San Diego, California)

Sweet baby Logan, thank you for making me a mommy! I’ve only been your mommy for 2 weeks and a day but you’ve already made me the happiest that I’ve ever been! I feel so honored and blessed to have you in my life. I know I have a lot to learn; sometimes I pick you up awkwardly and take way too much time trying to put arms through the sleeves of your onesies, and don’t understand if you’re crying because you’re hungry or gassy, but I hope I’ll only get better and I promise to always try my best. Baby’s first time to the beach! He seemed to enjoy it because he slept peacefully the whole time as he was traded between auntie to aunties arms. :) Who wouldn’t love some sunshine, breeze, fresh air and the sound of the waves? (at Scripps Beach, Lajolla)

It’s crazy how quickly your mindset and priorities change once you bring a human into the world. . My spare office/closet is now a nursery, my bookshelves show casing my shoes are now diaper storage, my vanity table is now the diaper changing table. . And aside from the superficial things, everything else becomes about the baby too - in a good way. We have two bunnies and a small tortoise that were indoor pets, and now to make more space for our little guy, my husband set up an outdoor area for them, something that I was not on board with pre-baby. . I’m surprised with how easily a transition it has been for us so far with changing certain things around in our lifestyles. Initial small sacrifices will lead to bigger sacrifices, but I’m prepared for it mentally. I love this little boy so much and I would do anything for him! My heart is full.

5/3/18 . Today is this little guys due date. Now that I’ve met him I can’t imagine having to wait 6 more days for him! I’m so happy he’s here, happy and healthy. . Did you know that only about 5% of babies are born on their actual estimated due date?
