Affiliate Marketing
Tumblr media
Affiliate marketing is an online sales tactic that lets a product owner increase sales by allowing others targeting the same audience—“affiliates”—to earn a commission by recommending the product to others. At the same time, it makes it possible for affiliates to earn money on product sales without creating products of their own.
Simply put, affiliate marketing involves referring a product or service by sharing it on a blog, social media platforms, or website. The affiliate earns a commission each time someone makes a purchase through the unique link associated with their recommendation. Done well, this performance-based opportunity can become an important part of your business by netting you a healthy income.
How does affiliate marketing work?
To participate in an affiliate marketing program, you’ll need to take these five simple steps:
1.Find and join an affiliate program
2.Choose which offers to promote
3.Obtain a unique affiliate link for each offer
4.Share those links on your blogs, social media platforms, or website
5.Collect a commission anytime someone uses your links to make a purchase
Commission rates vary dramatically, depending on the company and the offer. On the low end, you’ll earn about 5% of the sale but, with some arrangements, you can earn as much as 50%, usually when promoting a class or event. There are also affiliate marketing programs that provide a flat rate per sale instead of a percentage.
Benefits of the affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing offers several benefits to affiliates, one of which is its ease. Your side of the equation simply involves handling the “marketing” side of the building and selling product educating customers. You don’t have to worry about the harder tasks, like developing, supporting, or fulfilling the offer.
Affiliate marketing is a low risk. Since there’s no cost to join affiliate programs, you can start making money with an established affiliate product or service without any upfront investment. Affiliate marketing also can generate relatively passive income through commission—the ideal money-making scenario. Though initially, you’ll have to invest time creating traffic sources, your affiliate links can continue to deliver a steady paycheck.
Finally, successful affiliate marketing offers the potential to significantly scale your earnings without hiring extra help. You can introduce new products to your current audience and build campaigns for additional products while your existing work continues to generate revenue in the background.
Before you get too excited, know that great affiliate marketing is built on trust. While seemingly there is an endless number of products or services to promote, it’s best to only highlight those you personally use or would recommend. Even when a product interests you or fits within an existing becoming a great marketer for that product takes a lot of work.
Affiliate Marketing Pros & Cons
These are the major pros and cons of affiliate marketing:
Pros
It’s a great way to make passive income. While you’re off working at your full-time job, your affiliate links and blog posts will be working in the background. With the right combination of SEO and engaging, honest writing, you could be looking at a passive income cash cow.
You don’t need marketing experience. You don’t need any marketing experience to become an affiliate, though a bit of SEO knowledge and writing chops never hurt.
You can do it in your free time. With only a bit of time + money investment up front (setting up a website, getting set up with affiliate programs, and creating content with your affiliate links) you can start making money.
Cons
You have zero control over the offers, products, or services. You don’t have to mess with products (creating, distributing, selling) but at the same time, you don’t have any control over what you’re promoting, either.
It can be competitive. Affiliate marketing is relatively simple, so there will be plenty of other affiliates out there competing for clicks and leads – some of them with years of experience behind them.
There are scams. Affiliate marketers need to be wary of scams and fraudulent affiliate programs.

Medical Transcription
Medical transcription services are when medical reports are typed from dictated audio files by physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers.
Doctors, nurse practitioners, surgeons, and other healthcare providers have important, stressful jobs. They’re on their feet all day, doing everything they can to help the patients in their care. There’s a lot that can get in their way, however, and many frequently express frustration in getting so bogged down with paperwork that it limits their time with their patients.
The number one task that can suck up too much time from healthcare providers is transcribing their own notes.  These notes can include everything from clinical summaries to surgery notes.  Taking an audio recording and turning it into a written document that’s needed for their own records, insurance claims, and patient’s medical charts can take some providers a few hours per day
Why Medical Transcription Is Cost-Effective
Hiring medical transcriptionists can sound expensive. In reality, hiring qualified agencies like ours is actually a much more cost-effective solution than other options out there.
The healthcare providers can either add on extra hours to their day every day to transcribe their own notes, which either costs them time off or costs them the time they could be with their patients and making more money.
You could hire medical assistants to transcribe the notes. This comes at a cost, however, as medical assistants typically require salaries ranging from $35000 per year and benefits that can be hugely expensive to employers.
You can hire a transcriptionist part-time or full-time, though there’s a downside here, too. As the chart demonstrates below, hourly rates, benefits, and everything else that comes with traditional employees are incredibly expensive.
Benefits Of Medical Transcription
Effective time management
When you're in the office, you know how easy it can be to get swamped with work.  Patients may be referred at all hours of the day, schedules can vary widely from day to day, and just keeping things in order so you know where to go (and when) is one of the biggest jobs your assistants have.  Unfortunately, this can make it very hard to fit creating reports into your schedule, especially just after you've seen the patient and the information is fresh in your mind.  Dictation offers an effective way to get the information down without needing for you to sit down and type it up, helping you manage your time much more effectively.
Improve Quality of Care
When your information is organized effectively, you have access to a complete narrative of your patient's history, including the things you told them before.  Simply reviewing what you said before can help you remember the most important details of a particular case, which translates directly to improved care.
Variable Inputs
You don't need an expensive recording system to take advantage of medical dictation.  In fact, applications on mobile phones work just as well as traditional dictation devices.  The mobility offered by many recorders also allows you to record the patient's words alongside your own, which may prove extremely helpful if a particular case needs more in-depth study and you or your colleagues would benefit from it.
Enhanced Patient Privacy
Some things don't need to be known by anyone except you and your patient.  If you feel that some of the information you've recorded doesn't need to be written down, you can (1) never say it at all, (2) strike it from the record yourself, or (3) keep an unedited version for private use while the reduced (and more available) version contains only what others really need to know.  There are many different ways to help ensure patient privacy when using a medical dictation system, allowing you to make a professional decision on what's best in each situation rather than being forced to log things you'd rather not.
Minimal Impact
The recording is often as easy as flipping a switch before you enter a room.  One of the major goals of medical dictation and transcription is to have a minimal impact on how things are done in the office while still providing the information that you need in a timely manner.
Reduced Expenses
Saving time means saving money, but medical dictation and transcription can do more than that.  By using software to organize information and pull out meaningful data, determine what to bill patients, ensure the effectiveness of transcribers, and reroute work as necessary, transcriptions can significantly reduce the costs necessary to get the information you need.
Medical Transcription Eligibility Criteria
In order to apply for Medical Transcription Course, candidates need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:-
1.Candidates must have completed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent qualification from any recognized board.
2.It is strongly suggested that the students should have a strong background in biology, physiology, anatomy,  basic life sciences, basic or applied math, basic computer application skills, basic research skills, strong technical reading and writing skills.
3.Candidates should have excellent communication skills, writing skills, computer skills and should have good knowledge about medical terminology and abbreviations.
4.Apart from this, candidates should have good critical thinking.
Medical Transcription Course Fee
The medical transcription course fee varies from course to course. The course fee for both private and government colleges is mentioned

MEDICAL SCRIBING
A medical scribe is a professional who wrote for a doctor in documenting a patient encounter. This involves working time as the scribe connects to the doctor's office if the doctor is attending to a person inside his office. The scribe can view and listen to the proceedings and has to note all the data into the EHR. The scribe has to be well versed in medical terminology, drug names and also well versed in computers to enter the details quickly. Scribe is almost like the doctor assistant, Doctors need to handle dozens upon dozens of charts so as medical scribe can take that burden away so they can focus on being with the patient and providing them treatment so they don't have to worry about being stuck at a computer for hours. Scope Of Medical Scribe:
For people thinking of starting their career in medicine or become a physician or physician assistant, the chance to become a medical scribe is any other opportunity available.it helps to collaborate with the physician.  scope for medical scribe is intense and also the future of medicine.
PROS & CONS OF Medical Scribe:
CONS:
Scribes are most commonly hired through a sort of middleman company that the hospital or healthcare company will pay to hire them. They will put them on their own payroll and they will set up their schedule .this middleman company makes more money than a scribe does. while doing hardly any work whatsoever partly because of this a medical scribe generally starts off at about Rs 700 per hour in any specialty when using one of these companies. This is a very low wage given the potential complexity of this job and there isn't much moving up either scribe will advance to a chief scribe role with increasing responsibilities but will not receive a pay increase. however, there are ways around this the scribe may find a job at a private practice or in a given specialty that will agree to hire him or her directly.THE JOB WAS NOT ABOUT TO PAY BUT MORE SO ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE.
PROS:
The pros are that you get some excellent experience, there is no better way to obtain higher-level learning when you work directly with the healthcare provider. you see what they do every day you get an idea of what they are thinking, their daily basis, how they diagnose patients and a lot of them will take you under their wings.
They will show you radiology reports, explains labs, explains patient behavior, and more. You really can't get that kind of mentorship if say you went on and you became a phlebotomist or an EMT. honestly, some physicians could care less about doing this but nevertheless, it's a definite pro because even if you don't get that mentor ship you are with them on a day-to-day basis.

Medical Coding
Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. The diagnoses and procedure codes are taken from medical record documentation, such as transcription of physician's notes, laboratory and radio logic results, etc. Medical coding professionals help ensure the codes are applied correctly during the medical billing process, which includes abstracting the information from documentation, assigning the appropriate codes, and creating a claim to be paid by insurance carriers.
Scope Of Medical Coding
In the future, the Medical Coders will have a golden opportunity in India. There is more scope to get into the Medical Coding field. The healthcare industry is aggressively looking for well-trained professionals with in-depth knowledge of their profession. There are many jobs in Medical Coding with salary packages.
How To Become A Medical coder
Before you decide to pursue a medical coder career, you should know that you will need to pursue some specified education First, you will need to learn multiple sets of medical codes, as the government requires their use. Some of these codes are:
International Classification of Diseases, 10th Edition (ICD-10-CM), which includes 69,000 codes for everything that can hurt you, make you sick, or kill you.
Current Procedure Terminology (CPT) for the 8,000 codes that describe all physician services.
International Classification of Diseases, 10th Edition, Procedural Coding System (ICD-10-PCS) used by hospitals to code the 130,000 different surgical procedures.
Health Care Procedural Coding System, Level III (HCPCS Level II), which has over 7,000 codes that help bill insurance companies for supplies.
Beyond the codes, you will also need to learn about anatomy, physiology, and medical procedures, not to mention all the individual insurance rules and policies. Because there’s so much to learn on the path to the medical coder, most employers want prospective employees to have a solid background and education in medical coding. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean you must have an M.D. or even a Ph.D. to do the job. While some employers are fine with medical coders who have a high school diploma and extensive medical coding experience, many are not. Typically, you will need a bachelor’s degree in a health-related field, but some employers will accept an associate degree.
Benefits of Medical Coding
Reduce and control operating costs
Better focus on healthcare
Value-add services
Minimized claim denials
Scalability
Today there are several coding and IT tools that are available to increase the speed, cost, and accuracy of medical coding. However, tools like Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), ICD-9, E-Clinical Works, Practice Admin, or Kareo are not only expensive but are also difficult to acquire, maintain and upgrade. Keeping these tools in-house would require additional management. Your healthcare center can avoid the cost and the problems of maintaining the technology in-house through outsourcing.
For quick and accurate medical coding to happen, you will need an expert team of AAPC certified medical coders who have a deep understanding of medical specialties and compliance requirements. Maintaining an in-house team of coding professionals can be tough, while not resulting in a high ROI. You will also have to incur the cost of recruiting and retention. Instead, when you outsource medical coding, you can completely focus on healthcare.
Outsourcing service providers are well-positioned to offer healthcare centers and hospitals regular reports about the progress and status of claims. These reports can also pinpoint inefficient areas, where the overall coding productivity and outcome can be increased.
Inaccuracies in data and poor coding can lead to claims being denied, resulting in revenue loss. This will further increase the rework of claims and cause a delay in reimbursement. Outsourcing medical coding can keep coding errors to a bare minimum while ensuring that rework (if any) happens at a faster pace.
An outsourcing service provider can ensure the quick deployment of medical coding services while ensuring that the services are scalable and aligned to your business requirements. Your healthcare center or hospital will find it extremely difficult to shrink or expand your in-house coding team based on business trends or other such imperatives. However, with outsourcing, you will not have to worry about the infrastructure or volume needed to manage medical coding at any point in time.
Academic Requirements
Earning a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree can strengthen a medical coder’s career; however, it’s not required to show proficiency. What is necessary is to have a solid foundation of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology education. If you want to pursue a career as a medical coder, you should complete a medical coding course of study.
