TBG SPOILERS. the way that rin and nezha parallel tearza and the red emperor is so... the fact that nezha stabs rin twice; first in the back which is often a metaphor for betrayal (obviously lol) and the second time to the heart, an organ that is often associated with love, and how both of those stabbings parallel the two aspects of the story of tearza and the red emperor (love, betrayal). and the way it foreshadows how the actual story of rin and nezha will be lost to time, and no one will ever know that fang runin was once the only divine thing yin nezha believed in.

the way we know nothing about the real history between tearza and the red emperor. the red emperor is always just called that, we never even find out his real name, the way that tearza was depicted in the palace paintings. they are known but not really. no one really knows what happened between them and no one ever will.
